Abstract:
This research is a correlational study that connects the concepts of self with the learnerscritical thinking ability on the ecosystem material. Samples of the research of 30 students as participants with sampling techniques purposive sampled. The research instruments used include questionnaires adopted from the Tennessee Self Concept Scale (TSCS) developed by William H. Fitts and a breakdown test for measuring critical thinking skills. The self-concept questionnaire consisted of 43 statements. Hypotheses testing uses bivariate correlation regression. Before a hypothesis test with a regression linierity is performed, first data is tested for normality and its homogenization as a prerequisite test analysis. The results showed no relation between self-concept and critical thinking ability (R = 0,471; R2 = 0,222) means there is a self-concept contribution to the critical thinking ability of 22.2%.

Abstract:
This study aimed to describe the relationship between reading interest in vertebrate zoology teaching materials with high order thinking skills. The method used is correlational research (descriptive). The population in this study were students of 2015 and 2016 Biology education at the Faculty of Science and Technology at UIN Walisongo Semarang with a sample of 113 students. Data of reading interest was captured by student answers through statements on questionnaires, while high order thinking skills are captured by description tests. Both of these data were analyzed by the Spearman correlation test, Regression and t-test. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between reading interest and high order thinking skills ability of students at α = 0.05 (sig. 0,000), but the relationship is in the low category (r = 0.326). And there are differences in reading interest and high order thinking skills ability between the 2015 and 2016 classes. Thus, reading interest needs to be increased because it has a relationship with students' high order thinking abilities.

Abstract:
This study aims to obtain information about the level of science process skills skills of class VIII students during online learning on motion system material. The sample in this study was 161 class VIII students at SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Bandar Lampung for the 2020/2021 academic year. The research design used was Cross Sectional Ex Post Facto using Saturated Sampling technique. Methods of data collection using the method of tests, interviews, and questionnaires. Based on the results of research, the ability of science process skills carried out in online learning at SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Bandar Lampung belongs to the category "Enough" with a percentage of 46.85 %%. When viewed from the percentage of indicators, namely observing 33.13%, classifying 51.22%, predicting 58.74%, concluding 50.91%, and communicating 40.85%.

Abstract:
This research aims to determine the effect of Problem Based Learning using puzzle media on students' critical thinking. The study population was all grade VII students at SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Bandar Lampung totaling 192 people. The research sample was students from 2 classes, namely class VII D and VII F who were selected from the population by using purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used a pretest-posttest sheet. The design used is the nonequivalent control group design. The data analysis used t-test with a significance of 5%. The results showed a sig significance value. (2-tailed) 0.13 <0.05, which means that the n-Gain mean of critical thinking learning outcomes of students between the experimental class and the control class is significantly different. Thus, it is known that the problem-based learning model using puzzle media can affect the critical thinking skills of students.

Abstract:
The research objective was to explain the use of a written discussion skills assessment rubric on Whatsapp social media. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using literature review and survey methods. Respondents consisted of teaching staff in the Biology Education Study program. Data obtained using a questionnaire and google search application. The results obtained are 18 literatures regarding discussion as a learning method and as a skill, there are 4 articles that suggest face-to-face discussion assessment rubrics. The use of written discussion rubrics, namely 1) makes it easy for teachers to assess student learning activities; 2) provide directions for teachers to practice written discussion skills for students; and 3) provide an overview of the students' discussion skills.

Abstract:
The objective of this research is to analyze the effectiveness of online learning on the cognitive learning outcomes of students. The population used in this study were all students in class XI MIPA 3 to XI MIPA 7 SMA Negeri 14 Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2020/2021, which consist of 143 people using purposive sampling technique. This research design is a descriptive design by a survey approach. Data were analyzed descriptively referring to the Minimum Criteria of Mastery Learning with classical completeness requirements of >60% and counting the number of respondents’ answers from each statement on the questionnaire.Based on the research results show that the cognitive learning outcomes of students achieve completeness of 60.4% classically and most of the learning outcomes of students are in the excellent category, which is 43.35%, so it can be concluded that online based learning is effective on the cognitive learning outcomes of students.

Abstract:
This research is a quantitative descriptive study. The research sample were 58 students at SMPN-1 Mentaya Hilir Utara, Kotawaringin Timur Regency. The learning management instrument used an assessment questionnaire for planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating learning which was assessed by 4 observers. learning outcomes were analyzed using classical assumption tests consisting of normality tests and homogeneity tests, as well as hypothesis testing using the Paired sample T test and Independent sample T test. The results of the study found that the management of online learning based on whatsApp social media was carried out "good" and the learning motivation of students was in the "medium" category. Online learning based on whatsApp social media has a significant effect on improving the learning outcomes of students' digestive system material, so it can be recommended as an alternative learning model during a pandemic.

Abstract:
This study aims to determine the effect of the Discovery Learning model on scientific attitudes and cognitive learning outcomes of students. The design used was an experiment with a Pretest Posttest Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Scientific attitude data were analyzed descriptively in the form of a percentage, while learning outcomes were analyzed using the Independent Sample t-Test at the 5% confidence level. The results showed that the scientific attitude obtained the highest results in the critical aspects with a percentage of 85.4% with very good criteria, while the lowest gain was in the active aspects of asking with a percentage of 70.4% with a fairly good criterion. The pretest-posttest N-gain average value in the experimental class was 0.49 higher than the control class, namely 0.39 with sig. (2-tailed) 0.043 < 0.05 so that H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected. Thus, the discovery learning model has an effect on scientific attitudes and is significant on the cognitive learning outcomes of students.

Abstract:
Biology subjects are included in science subjects, while students have difficulty solving problems because they are less able to think flexibly when receiving new information. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between cognitive flexibility and problem solving skills (KPM) in biology subjects in class X MIA 1 MAN Kota Tasikmalaya. This research was conducted from October to November 2020. The research method used was correlational with a total population of 3 class X MIA students with a total of 86 students. Samples were taken by purposive sampling technique of 1 class (28 people). The data analysis technique used is a simple linear regression test. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between cognitive flexibility and problem solving skills (R = 0.840; R2 = 0.706). Has a relationship strength of 0.840 and a contribution of cognitive flexibility to problem solving skills by 70.6%.

Abstract:
This study aimed to describe the diversity of plants found in Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park. The analysis of plant diversity was carried out by applying the quadratic method. Twenty-five squares were constructed for sampling. The results showed that there were thirty two (32) plant tribes consisting of 256 individuals in the exposed area and 899 individuals in the burial area. Data on plant diversity were then mapped to be correlated with Basic Competence (BC) at each level of the educational unit. Mapping results showed, there are 6 BC at the elementary school level; 5 BC at the junior high school level; and 7 basic competencies at high school level that can be learned by utilizing information on plant diversity of Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that the existence of plant diversity in Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park has the potential to support the achievement of the objectives of the national curriculum.
