Abstract:
This study aims to determine the relationship between the character of discipline and students 'thinking skills in economic learning activities at SMAN 2 Singingi which is motivated by the students' low ability to think in economic learning activities at SMAN 2 Singingi. This type of research is quantitative research. Subjects in the study of the relationship of character education with thinking skills of students in economic learning activities. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires, documentation and tests. The data analysis technique used is the correlation test using the Produck moment correlation formula. Based on the corelation test results obtained by Person Corelation value of 0.727 this means that there is a strong relationship between the character of discipline with students' thinking ability on economic subjects at SMAN 2 Singingi. this is also done by comparing r Count with r Table where (1% 0.727> 0.232), (5% 0.727> 0.275). Then it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected and from the results of the hypothesis test above it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the character of discipline and students' thinking ability on economic subjects at SMAN 2 Singingi.

Abstract:
Studi ini berupaya mengungkapkan implementasi Garis-garis Besar Program Pengajaran (GBPP) Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, Kurikulum 1994, Sekolah Lanjutan Tingkat Pertama (SLTP) dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar (KBM) di kelas. Tujuan studi ini untuk: (1) mengetahui apakah guru memenuhi prosedur pengajaran yang "wajar", (2) menyusun perencanaan dan melaksanakan pengajaran di kelas sesuai dengan waktu yang dialokasikan, serta (3) penggunaan metode dengan tepat. Hasil observasi kelas dan wawancara terhadap 18 guru Bahasa Indonesia kelas II SLTP di berbagai wilayah menunjukkan bahwa alokasi waktu yang disediakan dalam GBPP bahasa Indonesia dinilai sudah memadai namun, beberapa guru belum memanfaatkan waktu tersebut secara efisien dan efektif. Guru umumnya belum memiliki kemampuan yang baik dalam perencanaan dan pelaksanaan KBM. Buku paket diandalkan sebagai acuan mengajar ketimbang acuan perencanaan yang semestinya mereka susun. Tujuan pengajaran bahasa agar siswa mampu membaca, menyimak, menulis, dan mendengarkan, belum memperoleh perhatian yang proporsional

Abstract:
Student learning outcomes in learning is very important to be used as a reference for indicate of successful in learning. The observation result at grade X TITL SMKN 1 Pariaman identified that there are several problems that influence student learning outcomes, such as communication in learning process just one - way, the students did not master the contents, students tend to be afraid to ask the question, the students out of the classroom and talk with their seatmate. Consequently most of student learning outcomes were under KKM that seen from the pretest. To overcome this problem, research is conducted which seeks to see an increase in student learning outcomes in subjects " Using the Measurement Results " in Learning Model Cooperative Script at grade X TITL SMKN 1 Pariaman. Type of this research was quasi experiment with one group pretest – posttest design. Subjects were students at grade X TITL SMKN 1 Pariaman for 2014/2015 academic year that consists of 40 students. Data were collected through the test of pretest - posttest results, 40 objective questions for the pretest and 34 objective questions for the posttest. Improving student learning outcomes calculated by the formula Gain Score of pretest - posttest. This research indicated that there is an increase in student learning outcomes in subjects “Using Measurement Results” in Learning Model Cooperative Script at grade X TITL SMKN 1 Pariaman.

Abstract:
Vocabulary is part of language teaching and learning. Sufficient words usage ease students cope with academic assignments. This study tries to find out vocabulary level of freshman at English department State Polytechnic of Bengkalis. The method of the research is descriptive. Instruments used in gathered the data is set of vocabulary level test designed by Nation (1983) and developed by Schmitt, N., D. Schmitt, and C. Clapham. 2001. The population of the study is 16 freshman of Diploma program. The result of the test showed that most of the students are below 1000 vocabulary level. The finding revealed that the learners have limited vocabulary. It also brings two implications to the teaching. First, Lecturers should provide ekstra vocabulary training in lessons. Then, instruction language used should be adjusted between target language and mother tongue.

Abstract:
Static achievement of Indonesian students in TIMSS, of course requires improvement efforts. One of the improvement efforts can be done by conducting further studies related to the results of Indonesia's achievements in TIMSS. The aim of this study to describe the chemistry content and the of science learning in junior high school based on K-13. This research is a descriptive study with content analysis method. Content analysis was carried out on documents related to K-13 specifically the content standards, the learning process, syllabus and science textbooks of junior high school. The results showed that there are chemistry contents in science learning of junior high school. The chemistry contents contained in science learning of junior high school is divided into 6 main subjects and 5 demands of cognitive abilities, namely C1, C2, C3, C4 and C6, while the demands of cognitive ability C5 (evaluating) are not contained in the Chemistry content in science learning of junior high school . Abstract:
This study aims to determine the barriers to carrying out practical activities and find alternative solutions that can overcome them through a literature review. The method used is the survey method and literature review. Laboratory survey results, student opinions, and teacher opinions show that obstacles in carrying out practical activities include the lack of laboratory facilities, the lack of supporting facilities and infrastructure, the absence of laboratory assistants, insufficient time allocation. An alternative solution that teachers can do is to use a virtual laboratory. Virtual practicum is a series of laboratory tools in the form of interactive multimedia-based computer software, which is operated by a computer and can simulate activities in the laboratory as if the user were in a real laboratory. Therefore, virtual practicum as a product of technological progress can be an alternative solution to overcome these obstacles.

Abstract:
Literary works are classified as works of imagination in the form of fictional or imaginary experiences. The messages to be conveyed through literary works must be creative so that they appear attractive to read and listen to, so it is necessary to have a stile from the authorship itself to make his work beautiful and attractive. There are many ways to enjoy, understand and appreciate the work of the author Tenas Effendy, one of which is by studying the Stile of Tenas Effendy's authorship in Tunjuk Ajar Melayu. This study aims to analyze and interpret Tenas Effendy's stile authorship in Tunjuk Ajar Melayu. This needs to be examined because the existence of a literary work can be seen from how the author packs his work so that he can create his own stile from the author's side. The method used in this research is content analysis method. The source of data in this research is Tunjuk Ajar Melayu Karya Tenas Effendy in 2013 which has been recorded. The data collection technique is done by applying the hermeneutic technique. After the author of the analysis, Tunjuk Ajar Melayu by Tenas Effendy has a unique and distinctive authorship stile seen from the stylistic aspect, namely the stile as a pack of thoughts, the stile as a deviation from linguistic norms and the stile as a collection of personal characteristics.

Abstract:
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan tempat kerja lulusan perguruan tinggi swasta di Indonesia. Penelitian dilakukan selama 3 tahun berturut-turut terhadap lulusan program sarjana perguruan tinggi swasta di Indonesia. penelitian dilakukan secara daring pada bulan Mei tahun 2017-2019 menggunakan kuesioner kementerian riset dan teknologi pendidikan tinggi. Data dioleh secara deskriptif kuantitatif guna memperoleh hasil yang mampu menggambarkan kondisi sebenarnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lulusan perguruan tinggi swasta secara berturut-turut memilih untuk bekerja di perusahaan swasta dan instansi pemerintah, kemudian diikuti oleh dan lembaga sosial masyarakat. Sedangkan berwirausaha menjadi pilihan terakhir bagi lulusan perguruan tinggi swasta di Indonesia.

Abstract:
Biology Seminar is a course in the Biology Education Study Program of FKIP UMRAH that requires students to have the ability to apply scientific attitudes, perform scientific writing, and undertake scientific publications on a small scale. One of the learning strategies that can drive the achievement of learning outcomes is Research-Based Learning. One type of research-based learning is that which facilitates students doing small-scale research. Small-scale research is conducted by students applying scientific methods and train students to have a scientific attitude. This paper was derived based on descriptive research conducted to reveal how the defining problem skill formed by the research-based learning process. The instrument used was a questionnaire and documentations of 44 students brainstorming the topic. The assessment is given based on several indicators, namely the ability; explain the source of the problem, explain the problem phenomenon, identify more than one problem topic, choose the focus of the problem, construct the problem formulation, and find supporting references. From the study, it was known that students defining problem skills were in the high category.

Abstract:
Pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia peserta didik harus memahami materi pembelajaran karena pada model Problem Based Learning (Pbl) ini merangsang peserta didik untuk belajar melalui berbagai permasalahan nyata dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, dikaitkan dengan pengetahuan yang telah atau akan dipelajarinya, maka setaiap siswa harus paham dan mengerti dengan keadaan lingkungan sekitar. Selain itu, motivasi belajar siswa juga timbul karena pada model Problem Based Learning diadakan penghargaan kelopmpok, rewerd ini menjadi suatu motivasi yang menumbuhkan keinginan siswa untuk berprestasi selama pembelajaran. Penerapan model pembalajaran Problem Based Learning (Pbl) dinilai cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Sebagaimana penelitian yang telah dilakukan Yunin Nurun Nafiah (2014) dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (Pbl) pada mata pelajaran Perbaikan dan Setting Ulang PC, dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Nisaul Azmi Hajar, dkk (2016) dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (Pbl) pada mata pelajaran Sosiologi, dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa sebesar 80,86 %. Berdasarkan uraian di atas, dilakukan penelitian tentang model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (Pbl) dalam proses pembalajaran bahasa Indonesia dengan suatu usulan penelitian yang berjudul “Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Bahasa Indonesia Melalui Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (Pbl) Kelas XI MM 1 Materi Teks Prosedur SMK Negeri 7 Pekanbaru Tahun Pelajaran 2017”. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, serta analisa data yang telah diuraikan pada bab IV dapat disimpulkan bahwa: Penggunaan metode Problem Based Learning (Pbl) untuk pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dengan jumlah enam kali pertemuan di kelas XI MM 1 SMK Negeri 7 Pekanbaru tahun pelajaran 2017-2018 dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Bahasa Indoensia dari rata-rata 77,59 pada siklus I menjadi rata-rata 85,52 pada siklus II. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa meningkat secara signifikan dengan adanya penambahan persentase siswa yang memperoleh nilai ≥ 82 yaitu 19 orang dari 30 orang pada siklus I menjadi 25 orang dari 30 orang pada siklus II yang dikategorikan tuntas. Hal ini menggambarkan bahwa penggunaan metode group investigation sudah optimal untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia kelas XII IPS 1 SMK Negeri 7 Pekanbaru tahun pelajaran 2017-2018
