Abstract:
He aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of phacoemulsification and Intraocular Lens (IOL) implantation in OcMMP patients. Data from 15 eyes of 10 patients affected by OcMMP that underwent phaco+IOL have been evaluated. Each patient was examined a week before surgery and at day 1, day 3, day 7 and 30 days after surgery

Abstract:
We report a case of bilateral Terrien’s Marginal Degeneration with Hydrops. A 59 year old man presented with dimunition of vision in both eyes since 3 years. On examination both eyes had superior ectatic changes with right eye having scarred Descemet’s membrane indicating a healed hydrops and left eye showing superior corneal edema indicating resolving hydrops.

Abstract:
We report the case of a three-year-old girl with left sided facial swelling and proptosis as the initial presentation of bilateral orbit involving Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) in Cameroon. Despite being less typical in childhood, AML is the most common leukemia to cause orbital leukemic tumors. Solid extramedullary AML involves the orbit in 30% of cases and is bilateral in one third patients

Abstract:
We report results from four glaucoma patients on multiple topical medications who refused or failed interventional surgery and opted for in-office medication compounding (n=4). Topical medications with preservatives were compounded into one 10ml-bottle under sterile conditions. Patients used one drop of the compounded solution twice daily. Patients demonstrated significantly reduced IOP and self-reported better compliance after 3 months of use

Abstract:
The PanOptix® IOL used for cataract surgery showed high patient satisfaction and a high probability of spectacle independence for distance and near vision. The postoperative refractive outcomes demonstrated a low spheroequivalent and cylinder, primarily related to careful IOL measurements, advanced IOL formulas, and surgical technique.
