Abstract:
: The enormous potential of the Spanish republican female press at the junction of the 19th-20th centuries acquires historical interest due to the renewal of the journalistic market aimed at women, which, transcending the framework of beauty, fashion, home and domestic economy magazines welcomes a political, doctrinaire, militant and radical journalism, directed and written by women, although it had male collaborations. This press - El Progreso, La Conciencia Libre, El Gladiador, El Gladiador del Librepensamiento and Redención, among other publications- conferred recognition and intellectual authority on its promoters, by giving them the possibility of spreading their ideals, create opinion, influencing the public sphere and articulating a political tradition and culture that has been largely neglected in the history of the press. Abstract:
The study on the exile of Spanish republican journalists still has a considerable space to go. We have information about the personal adventures of many of them from the works published so far. However, their professional work in host countries is largely unknown. Adrià Vilalta was newswriter of the Barcelona newspaper El Diluvio and went into exile in Mexico, where he would work for Estampa magazine and Excelsior newspaper specializing in economic information.

Abstract:
This research focuses on the analysis of Spanish press which chronologically concurs with the Ifni War, studied contrasting the events and testimonies of those who experienced this war and those who entail a professional relationship with it (a journalist specifically). It was a conflict in the framework of the Francoist dictatorship and the process of decolonisation and expansion of Morocco in the mid-twentieth century. The general aim that we consider is to verify the interference of the media during the war, specifically press, and simultaneously contribute to unearth Ifni from the abyss of oblivion. This article brings to light the history of Ifni in relation to Spain, the Francoist mechanisms of informative control and some of the current outcomes of the war.

Abstract:
The first Francoism created a film policy based on autarky, that is, on strict control of foreign trade for both economic and ideological reasons. It was necessary to control the balance of payments and the ideology of foreign governments. This is how, after the Second World War, Argentina became the main partner of the regime. Above all because the importation of cereals is vital to alleviate hunger. Moreover, to solidify these relationships, a cultural exchange is encouraged in which the cinema plays an important role. Specifically, the purpose of these pages is to study the commercial, artistic, moral, and critical impact of the Spanish rural drama exported by Spain to Argentina in the period from 1944 to 1947. It is intended to show that this cinema served to disseminate the national ruralist ideology among Argentines and, above all, among the colony of Spanish emigrants, many of them from the countryside.

Abstract:
From Butterfly’s Tongue (1999) to While at War (2019), a growing number of cinematographic fictions and documentaries depicted Franco's repression in a context of recovery of historical memory. Thus, at least forty movies from this beginning of the century allude to the maquis, prisoners and victims as a whole to denounce the violence of the dictatorship in the media. The cinema mediates memory in the public scene and tries to modify, through a plural construction, the reception of this repressive period in the collective memory. We propose to explore the evolution of the message about Franco's violence in the cinema of these last two decades, with a typology of the victims, the representations of repression and the ideological narratives that are faced in them: through cinematographic techniques and characters, as well as the use and alteration of the symbols of this violence, which place it in a moving reception area.
