Abstract:
Aesthetic education not only exists in the classroom, but also in the urban living environment. The development of this environmental aesthetic education function is often accompanied by the development and change of urban landscape. Urban agricultural landscape is an organic part of modern urban landscape. It is different from machines or buildings in general urban production and life. Its local aesthetic value should be fully recognized and excavated. This is mainly reflected in the beauty of traditional agricultural skills, agricultural landscapes, and agricultural activities. At the same time, according to the different ways of interaction between people and the environment (ways of receiving aesthetic education), the development mode of vernacular aesthetic education of urban agricultural landscape can be divided into three: viewing mode, short-time contact, and long-time immersion.

Abstract:
In comparison to the construction of modern highway engineering, several of China’s early pavement construction concerns, such as pavement collapse, are rather clear. Limited by historical and technical factors, the subgrade and pavement design for highways lacks scientificity, thus inducing potential safety problems in the operation. In order to comprehensively improve the subgrade and pavement design as well as ensure the quality and safety of highway engineering projects, this paper takes the reconstructed and expanded highway projects as research subjects and focuses on proposing optimization measures for the subgrade and pavement design of reconstructed and expanded highways, so as to provide adequate reference.

Abstract:
In recent years, relevant government departments have achieved the goal of reduction and harmless application through the development and implementation of municipal waste incineration power plants, in order to advocate ecological and environmental protection. At present, in order to further achieve the goal of sustainable development, municipal waste incineration power plants have actively responded to the national call and requirements as well as made overall arrangements for the energy-saving design and optimization design of their internal system. Therefore, with the concept of sustainable development, this paper studies and analyzes the problems of the HVAC design as well as suggests related strategies for municipal waste incineration power plants in order to provide relevant reference.

Abstract:
With the deep and sustainable development of the market economy, the competitive environment and development pattern faced by China’s construction industry are becoming more and more severe. In this context, construction projects should actively incorporate the development trends of the market economy and focus on analyzing relevant influencing factors and risk content. Considering previous experience, the audit effect of construction project budget and settlement has a major impact on the quality and economic benefit of construction projects to a certain extent. In view of this, this paper mainly focuses on the content and method of the construction cost budget and settlement audit as well as suggests measures for the construction cost budget and settlement audit, so as to improve the construction cost management level.

Abstract:
With the increasing income of the rural population in Northwest China, people’s sense of happiness and gain is also increasing. However, the improvement of housing conditions is lagging behind the increasing income levels. In recent years, the government and owners have paid much attention to this issue. The local government has successively issued relevant guidelines and policies to encourage owners to reconstruct their houses and improve their housing conditions. Before improving housing conditions, the existing housing problems must be identified. In order to have a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the problems of rural residential buildings in Northwest China and to propose corresponding solutions, 90 representative rural residential buildings of three provinces in Northwest China have been selected for investigation, and mass data have been obtained. Upon analyzing these data, it has been found that there are problems in five aspects of rural residential buildings in Northwest China: architectural style and functional space layout, energy utilization and dissipation, design, construction, as well as structural safety and seismic measures. Valid solutions are proposed to address these problems, which can also provide a reference for the government and enterprises engaged in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry in rural areas.

Abstract:
A steel underground pipeline with a diameter of 2.4 m and a total length of 3,617 m (plate thickness of 26 mm) has been constructed in a city in central Hubei, and the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) project has been lifted from the upstream channel to supplement water to the downstream lake inside the city. Through preliminary geological survey data, site topographic and geomorphic survey, urban construction, as well as the requirements of the construction party, the preliminary arrangement of working wells and receiving wells as well as the selection and customization of pipe jacking machines have been proposed. Frequency conversion motor and remote monitoring technology are adopted for geotechnical change and long-distance pipe jacking. Through detailed survey, the rock and soil change section as well as gradual change conditions have been determined, the accuracy of construction mechanics calculation and construction operation control have improved, the basis and analysis basis are provided, and some experiences in construction operation are summarized.

Abstract:
In September 2017, the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Finance, and the National Development and Reform Commission jointly announced the first batch of “double first-class” construction universities, aiming to improve China’s education level and strengthen the country’s core competitiveness. In addition to first-class teaching and first-class scientific research, first-class universities should also have first-class campuses. The campus of a first-class university should have a complete range of infrastructure, scale, and function to meet the requirements of school-running and scientific research; it should also advocate sustainable development, which includes the concept of energy-saving, smart, and green. The traditional production methods and management models of the construction industry are far from being able to meet the needs of the construction and development of first-class campuses. Digital, intelligent, and informatized construction models are the only way for current campus construction.

Abstract:
With the accelerating pace of urbanization, the development and application of urban underground space has attracted much attention. In the construction of urban underground space, geotechnical engineering safety is the key point for construction. Based on this, this paper analyzes the application of geotechnical engineering safety technology in urban underground space construction, in hope that this analysis can provide a scientific reference for the rational application of geotechnical engineering safety technology as well as the construction and development of urban underground space.
