Abstract:
Peningkatan usia harapan hidup penduduk menyebabkan jumlah penduduk lanjut usia terus meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Lansia adalah individu yang mengalami proses penuaan sehingga rentan terhadap penyakit. Berbagai kondisi pada masa lanjut usia khususnya status gizi mungkin menunjukkan keterkaitan dengan kesehatan mental. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, dengan desain cross sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah lansia yang tinggal panti werdha UPT. Tresna Werdha Jember. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, dokumentasi dan angket. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah univariat, bivariat dan multivariat dengan menggunakan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini dapat simpulkan : (1). Tidak ditemukan kaitan status gizi dan tingkat depresi. Artinya status gizi lansia tidak berpengaruh terhadap tingkat depresi pada lansia atau sebaliknya (2) Hasil uji statistik menggunakan regresi logistic berganda menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik responden (jenis kelamin, umur, agama, status pernikahan, status gizi) tidak berpengaruh terhadap tingkat depresi, namun terdapat dua karakteristik yang berpengaruh pada tingkat depresi pada lansia yaitu pendidikan dan kepemilikan penyakit. Kesimpulannya, tidak ada kaitan status gizi dan tingkat depresi. The increase in life expectancy of the population causes the number of elderly people to continue to increase from year to year. Elderly are individuals who experience an aging process so they are susceptible to disease. Various conditions in old age, especially nutritional status, may show an association with mental health. The research approach used is quantitative, with with a cross sectional design.. The study population is the elderly who live in the UPT Tresna Werdha Jember nursing home. Sampling was done by purposive sampling. The data collection instrument in this study used the method of observation, documentation and questionnaires. The data analysis used was univariate, bivariate and multivariate using the SPSS program. The results of this study can be concluded: (1). There was no association between nutritional status and depression level. This means that the nutritional status of the elderly has no impact on the level of depression in the elderly. (2) The results of statistical tests using multiple logistic regression indicate that the characteristics of the respondent (gender, age, religion, marital status, nutritional status) have no effect on the level of depression, but there are two characteristics that influence the level of depression in the elderly, which are education and disease. The conclusion is there was no association between nutritional status and depression level.

Abstract:
Qira’ah Sab’ah jika dikaitkan dengan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an, maka sangat erat kaitannya. Jadi dengan adanya maqam-maqam Qira’ah Sab’ah, ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an dapat dilantunkan dengan berbagai macam lagu. Dengan adanya pelatihan dan bimbingan khusus diharapkan dapat membawa peningkatan pemahaman peserta pada maqom Qiro’ah Sab’ah. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dikarenakan penelitian bersifat induktif, berdasarkan pembelajaran tertentu dan kemudian dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran serupa. Penyampaian maqam Qiro’ah Sab’ah. Dalam pelatihan tilawah, penyampaian Qiro’ah Sab’ah dilakukan oleh pelatih tilawah melalui proses latihan rutinan tilawah. Usaha untuk mempermudah menghafal maqam Qiro’ah Sab’ah yang diajarkan sebelumnya, maka peserta mencatat dengan menggaris bawahi ayat al-Qur’an dan ditulis jenis maqam yang digunakan disamping ayat al-Qur’an tersebut, kemudian mereka juga merekam suara lantunan ayat al-Qur’an yang disampaikan oleh pelatih tilawah. Pelaksanaan olah vokal pada pelatihan olah vokal, yakni dengan dibentuk kelompok-kelompok kecil terlebih dahulu, kemudian mereka menjawab jenis dari kelompok terkait maqom yang diujikan oleh pelatih. Terkait metode demonstrasi yang digunakan dalam pelatihan tilawah diawali dengan latihan melantunkan ayat al-Qur’an dengan menggunakan berbagai macam maqom qiro’ah sab’ah baru kemudian peserta tilawah menirukan ayat al-Qur’an yang dilantunkan oleh pelatih dengan menggunakan maqom Qiro’ah Sab’ah. Kata kunci: Maqam, Qiro’ah Sab’ah, Kerohanian, Tilawah Qira'ah Sab'ah if it is related to the verses of the Al-Qur'an, it is very closely related. So with the existence of maqam-maqam Qira'ah Sab'ah, the verses of the Al-Qur'an can be sung with various kinds of songs. With special training and guidance, it is hoped that it can bring an increase in participants' understanding of maqom Qiro'ah Sab'ah. The approach used is a qualitative approach because the research is inductive, based on certain learning and can then be used in similar learning. In tilawah training, the delivery of Qiro'ah Sab'ah is carried out by the recitation trainer through the process of practicing the recitation routine. In an effort to make it easier to memorize the maqam Qiro'ah Sab'ah that was taught previously, the participants took notes by underlining the verses of the Koran and writing the type of maqam used in addition to the verses of the Koran, then they also recorded the sound of the chanting of the verse al. -The qur'an conveyed by the recitation coach. The implementation of vocal processing in vocal training, namely by forming small groups first, then they answer the types of groups related to the maqom tested by the trainer. Regarding the demonstration method used in recitation training, it begins with the practice of chanting the verses of the Koran using various kinds of maqom qiro'ah sab'ah, then the recitation participants mimic the verses of the Qur'an chanted by the trainer using the maqom Qiro'ah Sab'ah.

Abstract:
Artikel ini membahas perbedaan pandangan Clifford Geertz dan Mark R. Woodward tentang keberagamaan orang Jawa. Kedua pandangan ini menjadi rujukan bagi para intelektual yang mendalami kajian tentang agama (Islam) di masyarakat Jawa. Geertz mengkategorikan kelompok agama dalam masyarakat Jawa (Abangan, Santri, dan Priyayi) berdasarkan penelitiannya di Mojokuto (Pare, Kediri, Jawa Timur). Sementara itu, Mark R. Woodward meneliti keberagamaan orang Jawa di Yogyakarta. Woodward menganggap Yogyakarta sebagai pusat budaya masyarakat Jawa dan dianggap mampu mengkolaborasikan Islam dan budaya lokal. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa Geertz menilai bahwa keberagamaan orang Jawa terkait dengan ketaatan dan ketidaktaatan. Sementara itu, Woodward melihat keberagamanan ini sebagai salah satu bentuk tafsir terhadap Islam oleh masyarakat Jawa.. Kata Kunci: Islam Jawa, Abangan, santri, priyai This article examines the different views of Clifford Geertz and Mark R. Woodward about Javanese religiousness. Both of their studies, even today, have become references for intellectuals who study religion (Islam) in Javanese society. Geertz categorized the religious groups in Javanese society (Abangan, Santri, and Priyayi). Geertz's (the 1950s) view have based on his research in Modjokuto (Pare, Kediri, East Java). Meanwhile, Mark R. Woodward researched Javanese religiousness in Yogyakarta (the 1980s). Woodward observed Yogyakarta as the cultural centre of Javanese society. It is considered capable of collaborating between Islam and local culture. The article concludes that Geertz assessed that Javanese religiousness was related to religious obedience and disobedience. Meanwhile, Woodward sees this diversity as a type of interpretation of Islam by the Javanese community.

Abstract:
Kajian tentang dinamika dan kiprah politik kiai selalu menarik untuk terus dikaji dari berbagai sudut pandang berbeda. Pada kontestasi Pilpres 2019, beberapa kiai NU struktural maupun non struktural di Jember terlibat aktif dalam memenangkan pasangan calon no urut 1, Jokowi dan Ma’ruf Amin. Penelitian ini ingin mengungkap makna politik dalam perpsektif kiai NU Jember, serta motivasi dan bentuk keterlibatan mereka dalam kontestasi politik praktis (Pilpres 2019). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Secara operasional penggalian data dalam peneilitian ini dilakukan dengan cara pengamatan, wawancara mendalam terhadap para informan yang sudah ditetapkan, dan dokumentasi. Data yang didapatkan setelah itu dianalisa melalui dua tahap, yaitu selama proses pengumpulan data di lapangan dan setelah data tersebut terkumpul dengan langkah; 1) reduksi data, 2) penyajian data, dan 3) penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) Mayoritas kiai NU Jember memaknai politik sebagai perjuangan untuk mewujudkan kemashlahatan umat. Politik juga dimaknai dengan upaya untuk menjaga aqidah umat dari faham atau ideologi yang berseberangan dengan NU. 2) Ada dua motivasi yang mendorong keterlibatan kiai NU Jember dalam politik praktis, yaitu orientasi dakwah dan orientasi ideologis. 3) Bentuk keterlibatan kiai NU dalam politik praktis (Pilpres 2019) di Kabupaten Jember dilakukan dengan beberapa cara, diantaranya memberikan dukungan melalui edaran/maklumat, konsolidasi sesama kiai dan instruksi secara langsung kepada para santri, wali santri, dewan guru/asatidz, alumni dan simpatisan pesantren. The dynamics and political work of the kiai are always interesting to be studied from various points of view. In the 2019 presidential election contest, several structural and non-structural NU kiai in Jember were actively involved in winning the candidate pair number 1, Jokowi and Ma'ruf Amin. This research intends to reveal the political meaning from the perspective of the kiai NU Jember, as well as their motives and forms of involvement in practical political contestation (Pilpres 2019). This research was conducted using a qualitative approach. Operationally the data mining in this research was carried out through observation, in-depth interviews with the informants who had been assigned, and documentation. The data obtained after that were analyzed in two stages, namely during the data collection process in the field and after the data was collected by steps; 1) data reduction, 2) data presentation, and 3) concluding. The results of this study indicate that 1) The majority of NU Jember kiai interpret politics as a struggle to achieve the benefit of the people. Politics is also interpreted as an effort to protect the aqidah of the people from opposing ideologies or ideologies. 2) There are two motivations that encourage the involvement of the Jember NU kiai in practical politics, namely dakwah orientation and ideological orientation. 3) The form of involvement of NU kiai in practical politics (2019 Presidential Election) in Jember Regency is carried out in several ways, including providing support through circulars/announcements, consolidation of fellow kiai and direct instruction to students, guardians of santri, a board of teachers/asatidz, alumni and pesantren sympathizers.

Abstract:
Sebagai tokoh yang memiliki nama besar, Abu Yusuf memiliki karya fenomenal dalam bidang pajak, yaitu kitab Al-Kharaj. Kitab yang ditulis atas permintaan Khalifah Harun Ar-Rasyid ini digunakan sebagai pedoman dalam pengelolaan pajak. Sebagai salah satu sektor penting dalam penerimaan negara, pajak seharusnya tidak mendzolimi masyarakat dari besaran presentasenya. Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejarah penulisan kitab Al-Kharaj dan isi kitabnya. Selain itu, tulisan ini juga untuk mengetahui konsep pajak yang ditulis Abu Yusuf dan utilitasnya dengan ekonomi saat ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah metodologi pemikiran tokoh yang dilacak dari sikap, tulisan atau pun tanggapan pada suatu kasus fenomena yang terjadi pada masa itu. Untuk mengetahui latar belakang pemikiran Abu Yusuf tidak bisa mengesampingkan beberapa faktor yang ada, baik faktor internal maupun faktor eksternal yang menjadi pemicunya. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa pemikiran Abu Yusuf tentang pajak menjadi salah satu konsep yang dilaksanakan hingga saat ini. Konsepnya dipakai dan diaplikasikan dalam menentukan presentase penerimaan pajak oleh negara. Konsep Al-Kharaj digunakan dalam sektor penerimaan Pajak Bumi dan Bangunan (PBB), bea cukai. Kata kunci: Abu Yusuf, Kitab Al-Kharaj, Pajak, Pendapatan Negara As a well-known figure, Abu Yusuf has written a phenomenal work in taxation studies, namely al-Kharaj. This book which written at the request of the Caliph Harun ar-Rashid is used as a guide in tax management efforts. As one of the important sectors in state revenue, taxes should not deceive the public from their percentage. The article aims to find out the context of Al-Kharaj and its contents. Therefore, this study seeks to reveal the thoughts of Abu Yusuf and his background which were traced through his attitudes, writings, and responses to a case that occurred at that time. In addition, the paper is also to find out the tax concept initiated by Abu Yusuf and its practice in economic conditions' today. The results of this study found that Abu Yusuf's thought about taxes is one of the concepts that is still used today. This concept is applied in determining the percentage of tax revenue by the state. The Al-Kharaj concept is also used in the land and building tax (PBB) and customs revenue sectors.

Abstract:
Pada zaman era globalisasi lembaga pendidikan Islam harus lebih menekankan pada kualitas sumber daya manusianya karena guru adalah salah satu komponen utama bagi keberhasilan proses belajar mengajar di sekolah. Mutu sekolah, khususnya mutu anak didik, mau tak mau berkaitan dengan mutu guru-gurunya yang langsung terlibat dengan anak didik di kelas. Namun, pada kenyataannya, terdapat banyak keluhkan tentang kualitas guru khususnya di lembaga pendidikan Islam. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya strategi yang komprehensif bagi guru menjadi tenaga pendidik yang berkualitas, profesional, berkomitmen serta memiliki semangat ibadah. Penelitian ini fokus mengkaji strategi pengembangan mutu guru MAN 3 Jember. Kajian penelitian ini menggunakan perspektif fenomenologis terhadap studi kasus. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa untuk mengembangkan kualitas guru, para pimpinan MAN 3 Jember perlu (1) untuk membuat, menyusun, dan merumuskan visi, misi, dan tujuan lembaga khususnya pengembangan mutu guru; (2) untuk membangun komitmen yang bernilai ibadah; (3) untuk membangun sikap dan kedisiplinan; (4) untuk merubah pola pikir dan untuk membangun karakter positif guru. The teacher is one of the main characters for the success of the teaching and learning process. The quality of schools, especially the students quality, is inevitably related to the teachers concerned the students in the classroom. However, in reality, there are many complaints about teacher quality, especially in Islamic educational institutions. Therefore, it is necessary to have a comprehensive strategy for teachers to become qualified, professional, committed educators who have the spirit of worship. This study focuses on the assessment of teacher quality development strategies in MAN 3 Jember. This study uses a phenomenological perspective on a case study. As a result, for developing teacher quality in MAN 3 Jember is (1) compiling, compiling, and formulating the vision, mission, and objectives of the institution, to realize teacher quality; (2) building a commitment that has worship values; (3) building attitude and discipline; (4) changing the mindset also building the positive character of the teacher. Abstract:
Lembaga pendidikan Islam mencapai kesuksesan kerja bisa melalui membangun orang-orang (kepribadian) secara fundamental yaitu mengubah pola pikir tentang bagaimana tenaga kerja dan sikap hubungan kerjasama dengan baik. Dua hal ini berarti mencapai kesuksesan kerja dengan bekerjasama dengan orang lain disertai dengan iman dan amal baik, justru bukan dengan cara mengganti tenaga kerja lama dibuang dan tenaga kerja baru difungsikan atau berusaha membatasi ruang lingkup kegiatan mereka, pengawasan ketat pada mereka dan dekti kepada mereka. Itu cara-cara kuno yang tidak produktif. Dengan demikian budaya kerja yang menghasilkan keunggulan kompetitif (competitive advantage) yang berkelanjutan (sustainable) adalah manajemen yang menggunakan budaya kerja “amanu”. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan analisis pada temuan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, interview dan dokumentasi. Keampuhan budaya kerja “amanu” baik secara teori maupun praktik telah terbukti menghasilkan keunggulan competitive yang berkelanjutan dalam suatu lembaga pendidikan Islam atau perusahaan.

Abstract:
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi pengembangan sumber daya manusia di Pondok Pesantren As-Syafaah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Bentuk data dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari informan dan dokumen pendukung. Analisis data dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap menurut teori Miles, Huberman dan Saldana, yaitu kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) analisis kebutuhan pengembangan sumber daya manusia analisis kualitas dan kuantitas, (2) pelaksanaan pengembangan sumber daya manusia dilakukan melalui rekrutmen, program pendidikan dan pelatihan, dan pembentukan budaya pesantren; (3) evaluasi pengembangan sumber daya manusia dititikberatkan pada perubahan sikap dan perilaku dalam menjalankan peran dan tanggung jawab. Kata kunci: manajemen, SDM, pesantren The aim of this is to describe the planning, implementation and evaluation of human resource development at As-syafaah Islamic boarding school. This study used a qualitative approach with case study design. The form of data in this study is primary data and secondary data obtained from informants and supporting documents. Data analysis is carried out in several steps according to Miles, Huberman and Saldana theory, which are data condensation, data display, and drawing conclusions or verification (conclusion drawing and verification). The results shown that (1) analysis of human resource development needs quality and quantity analysis, (2) implementation of human resource development is carried out through recruitment, education and training programs, and the formation of Islamic boarding school culture; (3) evaluation of human resource development is emphasized on changing attitudes and behaviors in carrying out roles and responsibilities

Abstract:
This study aims to describe the implementation of mastery learning (complete learning) in Islamic Religious Education learning (both planning, implementation, evaluation, learning outcomes and follow-up) in SMA Negeri 2 Bogor; also to provide a clear explanation of the implications of mastery learning on students' achievement of Competency Standards (SK) in Islamic Education learning. This research is a qualitative field research. The approach used is descriptive qualitative and data collection uses the method of observation, interviews, documentation and triangulation. The data analysis used was descriptive analytical and interpretive. The results show that SMA Negeri 2 Bogor has implemented the mastery learning strategy as an effort to achieve SK in learning (PAI), especially - more intensively - since the implementation of the CBC in 2004 and KTSP in 2006, but the implementation has not been maximal. and needs further improvement. Implementatively, the mastery learning strategy pays close attention to individual differences, marked by the existence of follow-up programs in the form of remedial, enrichment and acceleration programs, which of course become necessary being. so that students achieve competency completely. The implication is that the achievement of SK depends on the achievement of Basic Competence (KD), and the achievement of KD is very dependent on the achievement of indicators, and vice versa. The completeness is based on the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) that have been determined in Islamic Education learning, so that students have competence and performance that can be measured (measurable) and can be observed (observable) as an indicator of successful learning completely.

Abstract:
The phenomenon of character education in Indonesia has existed along with the realization of the 2013 Curriculum. Character education was implemented even before the 2013 curriculum was implemented in schools. Character education is a school-based effort that helps a person or group of people care, understand, act seriously to apply ethical values. The purpose of character education is to help students develop optimal potential in various matters related to morality, citizenship, courtesy and ethics, behavior, being healthy, critical, success that will meet social norms and can be accepted in society both at home and globally. . Which one day the nation's children will become human beings with quality and noble character. With character education, students can apply character values ​​such as religious, responsible, democratic, honest, trustworthy, leadership, fair and polite in their attitude. Character education that is integrated in the 2013 Curriculum creates the next generation who is ready to face future challenges whose goal is that students have better abilities in the ability to observe, ask (interview), reason, and communicate (present) what they get or know after receive subject matter. Abstract:
The case of intolerance in the educational environment has recently become increasingly unsettling. This problem threatens the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). For that we need a special approach or pattern in preventing the development of intolerance in the educational environment. Tolerance education must be strengthened, especially in the school environment. Tolerance education is actually practiced in the learning process and outside the classroom so that it becomes school culture. Tolerance education must be broad, not only covering internal tolerance of Muslims but also between religious communities. The purpose of this study was to determine the pattern of cultivating tolerance through multicultural-based social interactions among Muslim and non-Muslim students. This type of research is field research (field research) with a qualitative approach with Muslim and non-Muslim student respondents in Elementary School (SD) N 13 Argamakmur. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the application of the value of tolerance carried out by teachers in schools, especially Islamic religious education teachers in the learning process through an attitude that is able to understand the differences by placing in the position of each student, is able to generate mutual respect between one another. The habituation process that is pressed directly and intensively can create positive habits towards students. Students can view each other positively even though they have a religion, ethnicity, race, ethnicity and customs that are different from others.

Abstract:
Kajian dalam tulisan ini tentang konsep Al-Qur`an tentang Nilai-Nilai Kejujuran Dalam Pendidikan (Tela`ah Kitab Safwah Al-Tafasir, karya Syekh Muhammad Ali As-Sabuni) bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsep dan nilai kejujuran yang terkandung dalam Al-Qur`an yang ditinjau dari ranah pendidikan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian tematik yang bertujuan untuk menemukan sebuah konsep dan nilai kejujuran dalam Al-Qur`an. Bebarapa konsep yang tercantum dalam Al-Qur`an tentang kejujuran, yang di antaranya adalah: 1) صدق yang bermakna jujur dan benar. 2) صدق yang berarti membenrkan. 3) صدق yng mempunyai arti maskawin. 4) صدق bermakna memberikan sedekah. 5) تصدق yang berarti memberikan sedekah pula. Nilai-nilai kejujuran yang ada di dalam Al-Qur`an adalah kejujuran dalam bersikap, yang di antaranya: 1) Jujur dalam berkata. 2) Jujur dalam hati. 3) Tidak berkhianat. Abstract:
This study will analyze the use of the 'al-Isyārah' and 'al-Ibārah' diction in the perspective Sufi expressions of Ibn Athāillah as-Sakandary, as well as analyzing the influence of the diction on the technical terms in the discipline of Sufism. The technical term used by Sufis in their books has been criticized by ulama from other disciplines, because Sufis use technical terms that are rarely used and seem strange. Sufis prefer a cryptic language called 'isyārah', but in some cases they also use a clear language commonly called'al-Ibārah'. Ibn Athāillah (d. 709 h) has an interesting description of this topic and places it proportionally. Both ‘isyārah’ and ‘ibārah’ are basically a form of method for expressing intuitive knowledge about the secrets of God. ' al-Ibārah' can be used if a Sufi does have certain capabilities. Also, it can be used as a form of education for the sālik. Apart from these two things, a Sufi can express it with 'al-Isyārah' and 'rumziyyah' or choose to store it as personal knowledge. The way this disclosure impacts the technical terms used. Sufis choose metaphorical or technical expressions that differ from philosophical, kalam or tasawuf traditions. Thus, despite using such expressions, their technical term does not come out of the scientific standard.

Abstract:
Abdul Muchith Muzadi (termasuk juga dikenal dengan sebutan Mbah Muchith Muzadi), termasuk seorang kiai yang memiliki wawasan sangat luas, wara’ mendalam dan tajam. Pada saat yang bersamaan, KH. Abdul Muchith Muzadi, termasuk sosok kiai yang memiliki etika sangat kuat, paling tidak hal itu terpancar dalam perilakunya sehari-hari. Beliau tetap berperilaku sebagaimana layaknya kiai yang khusu’, wara’ dan hidup dengan kesederhanaan. Kajian ini, memiliki fokus sebagai berikut; 1) bagaimana latar belang kehidupan, pendidikan dan pengabdian KH. Abdul Muchith Muzadi di dalam NU dan lembaga pendidikan Islam Indonesia? 2) apa saja karya tulis ilmiah yang dihasilkan oleh KH. Abdul Muchith Muzadi? 3) bagaimana konsep pendidikan ahlak dalam pandangan KH. Abdul Muchith Muzadi? Pendekatan penelitian kualitatif, dengan jenis library research (studi pustaka). Tujuan penelitian ini, untuk menjawab tiga hal yang telah dirumuskan di atas. Berikut kesimpulannya; Pertama, latar belang kehidupan, pendidikan dan pengabdian di dalam NU. KH. Abdul Muchith Muzadi dilahirkan di Bangilan Tuban, pada tanggal 19 jumadil awwal 1344 H/ 4 Desember 1925 M. beliau merupakan kader sekaligus aktivis NU yang dari sejak awal berjuang bersama putra KH. Hasyim Asy’ari, yakni KH. Wahid Hasyim. Kedua, beberapa karya tulis ilmiah KH. Abdul Muchith Muzadi. Sebagai berikut; 1) Beberapa Masalah Kewanitaan Dan Kepemimpinan Di Kalangan Wanita, 1974, makalah tidak diterbitkan. 2) Bermazhab. Sosiologis Atau Takut Resiko? Dalam pesantren No 4/Vol III/1998. Jakarta: P3M. 3) Berusaha memahami kehadiran bank-BPR, dalam majalah AULA. Maret 1991, dan sebagainya. Ketiga, Konsep pendidikan ahlak dalam pandangan KH. Abdul Muchith Muzadi. Konsep pola hidup birrul walidain. Menurutnya, Islam menempatkan birrul walidain ini sebagai kewajiban dengan urutan nomor dua sesudah beribadah kepada Allah dan sebaliknya menempatkan uququl walidain sebagai larangan dengan urutan nomor dua sesudah syirik (menyekutukan Allah).

Abstract:
Pesantren is always be a solution for problems of the nation and state life. Since the era of independence day until today, pesantren becomes the frontline in responding of challenges and changing times. The rise hoaxes make peoples restless, because its presence makes people feel scared, fragmented, mutual hatred between each other. Pesantren as a place to learn religious sciences have a duty and responsibility to straighten and tackle the news hoax, especially the news hoaxes on behalf of Pesantren, or kiai. This study examines the boarding school strategies in tackling a hoax. This research is a field research by using descriptive qualitative approach. There are two strategies undertaken by Darul Ulum boarding Banyuanyar to combat the hoaxes. The first is emphasizing the use of social media, and the second is counter narrative through santries writing which are then can be distributed on social media. Furthermore, the steps that have been done to overcome the hoaxes are by holding workshop by the term of hoaxes attack and establishing Banyuanyar Media Tim (BM TIM) as the solutions to overcome the hoaxes.

Indonesia sebagai Negara yang oleh Cliffort Geertz disebut sebagai new state of old societies. Indonesia adalah Negara baru yang terbentuk dari komunitas-komunitas lama berupa kerajaan, komunitas budaya, kelompok suku, agama dan sebagainya. Karena itu, Indonesia sering disebut sebagai bangsa yang majemuk (plural). Pendidikan multikultural, sebagai salah satu alternatif pendekatan pembelajaran, menjadi salah satu ikhtiar lembaga pendidikan dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai toleransi antar umat beragama. Usia anak SD yang tergolong usia operasi konkrit yang perlu dibimbing dalam menterjemahkan konsep abstrak ke dalam konsep konkrit. Dengan membiasakan anak berinteraksi di tengah perbedaan dan keberagaman, ketika mendapatkan bimbingan yang tepat anak dapat memahami dan bijak menyikapi perbedaan tersebut. hal ini sejalan dengan semangat yang ditampilkan kurikulum 2013 dengan pembelajaran “bermakna” nya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif-deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggambarkan bagaimana pembelajaran multikultural yang dilaksanakan di SD Sintha dilaksanakan. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi untuk mengungkap fakta di lokasi penelitian. Penelitian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan kontribusi dalam menggambarkan sikap menghargai perbedaan yang harus ditanamkan kepada siswa serta menghindari sikap ekstrimisme dalam beragama di kalangan peserta didik.

Abstract:
Teori-teori dalam kepemimpinan diantaranya adalah pendekatan karakter (Trait Approaches), pendekatan perilaku (Style Approaches), pendekatan kontingensi (Contingency Approaches), teori kepemimpinan transaksional an teori kepemimpinan transformasional. Selain itu, teori kontingensi yang dikemukakan oleh Fiedler, Yukl juga mengemukakan bahwa perilaku pemimpin dapat meningkatkan kinerja kelompok karna dapat mempengaruhi variable intervening (usaha dan kerja tim) yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja kelompok. Sedangkan Teori Vroom dan Yetton mengemukakan bahwa kepuasan dan prestasi disebabkan oleh perilaku bawahan yang pada gilirannya dipengaruhi oleh perilaku atasan, karakteristik dan faktor lingkungan.

Abstract:
Islamic education starting from the foundational and operational, can not be solved properly. This condition draws attention among practitioners and managers of Islamic education to be neatly disentangled and can be found the tip of the base. Therefore, this paper briefly aims to parse the problem, through a transformative leadership approach based on social values. The significance of transformative leadership, as a conceptual and transformational framework in the management of education through the roles and actions of a leader. Internalization of transformative leadership is expected to be a positive energy to influence individual social action in education. The transformative leadership is based on divine and prophetic values, just as the prophetic mission becomes the dominant force in managing Islamic education and legitimizing cultural power. Such power is the social roles of the individual by inspiring, enlightening, empowering, inspiring without indoctrinating, awakening without harm, arousing without compelling and inviting without reign, through morality in achieving the aims of the organization. Thus the portrait of transformative leadership must have the ability to influence individual actions and behavior through trait aprroach, behavior approach, power-influence approach, situational approach and integrative approach.

Mata pelajaran Aqidah Akhlaq di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Mubarok Sumberpinang Pakusari Jember merupakan bagian integral dari pendidikan agama Islam, secara substansial mata pelajaran Aqidah dan Akhlaq memiliki kontribusi dalam memberikan motivasi kepada siswa untuk mempraktekkan nilai-nilai keyakinan keagamaan (tauhid) dan akhlakqul karimah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Abstract:
Lembaga pendidikan dasar Islam baik Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) maupun Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu (SDIT) dianggap lebih baik daripada SD umum karena berbagai alasan, salah satunya adalah karena anak merupakan investasi dunia akhirat. Dari pandangan dan persepsi orang tua tersebut, maka memilih memasukkan anaknya ke Madrasah maupun SDIT adalah salah satu pilihan yang tepat untuk mencetak dan membekali anak-anak sejak dini dengan bekal ilmu umum dan agama secara seimbang sejak dini. Sedangkan jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Adapun judul penelitian yang akan dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah tentang reorientasi masyarakat Bondowoso dalam memilih lembaga pendidikan Islam untuk anak-anaknya. Faktor-faktor yang melatarbelakangi masyarakat Bondowoso dalam memilih MI At-Taqwa dan SD SDIT KIC Bondowoso yaitu : karena kedua lembaga tersebut mampu memberikan harapan positif kepada masyarakat terutama para orang tua dibidang keagamaan dan pengetahuan umum. Dibidang keagamaan berkaitan dengan pendidikan karakter (baik moral ataupun kinerja), ubudiyahnya semakian baik dan pengetahuan agamanya meningkat. Sedangkan dibidang pengetahuan umum kedua lembaga ini mampu membuktikan kepada masyarakat kalau sekolah tersebut penuh dengan prestasi. Itulah kesan yang ditangkap masyarakat sehingga mereka tertarik menyekolahkan putra/putrinya di lemabaga ini.

Abstract:
Paradigma lama dalam proses pembelajaran adalah pendidik mentransfer pengetahuan kepada peserta didik secara pasif. Kondisi pembelajaran yang demikian masih mendominasi proses pembelajaran pada sebagian besar lembaga pendidikan. Guna mengatasi masalah tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan cara meningkatkan keikutsertaan peserta didik secara aktif dalam proses pembelajaran melalui kelompok-kelompok kecil kolaboratif. Temuan dalam penulisan ini bahwa implementasi pembelajaran Collaborative Learning pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMK Ma’arif NU Tirto dan SMKN I Kedungwuni Pekalongan pada tahap persiapan dilakukan dengan menyusun Prota/Promes, Silabus dan RPP. Persiapan ini dilakukan pendidik sebelum pembelajaran dilaksanakan di dalam kelas. Tahap Pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan menggunakan tiga langkah kegiatan; Pendahuluan, Inti dan Penutup. Pembagian kelompok yang dilakukan pada kegiatan pendahuluan perlu lebih memperhatikan keberagaman peserta didik, sekalipun pada kegiatan inti pelaksanaan keaktifan peserta didik tampak pada saat melakukan kolaborasi. Presentasi yang merupakan kegiatan penutup Collaborative Learning dilakukan dengan memberi masukan, usul, saran dan pendapat dari kelompok lain, kemudian pendidik menyampaikan revisi jawaban yang menyimpang dari materi yang dipelajari. Pelaksanaan evalusai sudah mengarah pada pembelajaran aktif dengan menggunakan evaluasi proses dan hasil. Peran aktif peserta didik dalam evalusi perlu dilibatkan khususnya yang terjadi di SMKN I Kedungwuni Pekalongan.

Abstract:
Spending habits merupakan kebiasan mengeluarkan atau membelanjakan uang. Dari spending habits ini akan menimbulkan tingkat konsumsifitas yang tinggi dan berdampak buruk terhadap pengelolaan keuangan. Pembelian barang yang dilakukan nelayan karena tuntutan gengsi, bukan menurut tuntutan kebutuhan yang sebenarnya, kecenderungan orang membeli barang bukan karena nilai manfaatnya tapi hanya sebuah citra berupa status sosial yang tinggi dengan memiliki barang-barang tertentu atau mengkonsumsi jasa mewah lainnya. Sedangkan jenis penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan berdasarkan pada: data yang muncul berwujud kata – kata dan bukan rangkaian angka. Serta dengan metode penelitian deskriptif artinya melukiskan variabel demi variabel, satu demi satu. Metode penelitian deskriptif bertujuan untuk: Mengumpulkan informasi aktual secara rinci yang melukiskan gejala yang ada, Mengidentifikasi masalah atau memeriksa kondisi dan praktek-praktek yang berlaku, Membuat perbandingan atauevaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: Nelayan yang ada di Desa Kedungrejo masih tergolong nelayan tradisional. Alat yang dipakai oleh nelayan di Muncar masih menggunakan jaring, dimana alat tersebut merupakan alat yang ramah lingkungan. Terkait dengan spending habit, nelayan disana adalah konsumtif. Temuan penelitian ini, bahwa sebagian besar nelayan tidak memahami mekanisme pengelolaan keuangan keluarganya. Rata–rata nelayan dan keluarganya tidak memiliki tabungan. 85% dari sampel penelitian menyatakan sangat membutuhkan pengetahuan dalam pengelolaan keuangan, merencanakan pengalokasian keuangan dan tata cara menabung yang benar.

Abstract:
Artikel ini membahas tentang program penanggulangan narkotika dan obat-obatan berbahaya (narkoba) di Surabaya. Kebijakan sosial ini diimplementasikan oleh Bagian Kesejahteraan Rakyat (Kesra) Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Surabaya sepanjang tahun 2019. Kegiatan-kegiatan yang ada di dalamnya adalah amanat dari Instruksi Presiden (Inpres) Nomor 6 Tahun 2018 Rencana Aksi Nasional Pencegahan dan Pemberantasan Penyalahgunaan dan Peredaran Gelap Narkotika dan Prekursor Narkotika (P4GN) Tahun 2018-2019. Ada banyak kegiatan yang telah dilakukan, di antaranya, sosialisasi pencegahan narkoba dan tes urine bagi para pegawai atau petugas di lingkup Pemkot Surabaya dan siswa-siswi sekolah negeri maupun swasta. Tujuan dari program ini adalah mencegah atau mengurangi penyebaran dan penyalahgunaan narkoba di Surabaya, yang tergolong kota besar di Indonesia, sehingga menjadi salah satu primadona para bandar narkoba. Secara umum, selain diemban Pemerintah Kota Surabaya, tugas P4GN di Surabaya merupakan tugas kolektif seluruh instansi publik, termasuk kepolisian, Tentara Nasional Indonesia, dan Badan Narkotika Nasional Surabaya. Juga tugas segenap elemen masyarakat. Artikel ini membahas tentang bagaimana program penanggulangan narkoba ini dijalankan di masyarakat oleh Pemkot Surabaya. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan melihat bagaimana implementasi kebijakan ini dilaksanakan. Pengumpulan data memakai teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan pembuatan kesimpulan. Teori yang dipakai adalah dasar-dasar kebijakan publik, yang dihubungkan dengan konsep pembangunan sosial berkelanjutan Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa (PBB) dan konsep kemaslahatan umat yang digariskan ajaran Islam. Hasil dari studi ini menunjukkan, program penanggulangan narkoba Pemkot Surabaya memiliki kesesuaian dengan pembangunan sosial berkelanjutan dan semangat menumbuhkan kemaslahatan umat.

The Manggisan ebankment market is a traditional market where the people conduct daily buying and selling transactions. In conducting business activities does not deny the existence of fraud that can be caused by a lack of awareness and knowledge in doing business based on Islamic business ethics. Awareness of the application of business ethics values must be carried out by every market player. Syari’ah business ethics is a moral reference as part of Islamic forms of Akhlaqul Karimah in muamalah. Islamic business ethics is based on monotheism, honesty, justice (balance) and kindness (ihsan). In conducting business activities Abu Hamid Muhammad Al Ghazali emphasied to always be guided by Islamic business ethics because by doing so a Muslim in doing his business will get two advantages namely the world and the hereafter. The formulation of the problem from this study is how the behavior of the vegetable traders ethics in the embankment Manggisan market. And how the behavior of greengrocer business ethics in the market of Abu Hamid Muhammad Al Ghazali’s embankment perspective. This research is a type of (field research) by using juridical empirical methods, namely methods that collect data by means af observation, interviews and documentation of the behavior of business ethics of vegetable traders in conducting business activities.Based on the result of the study, it can be concluded that in general the vegetable traders in the Manggisan embankment market have applied business ethics behavior in their business activities. Including starting a business by reading basmalah, not reducing scales and not taking very much profit, even though in reality they do not understand that what they are doing is part of the theory of business ethics. But there are still traders who someties are rude to buyers due to having personal problems with their families, this is considered to have violated Islamic business ethis. One of the principles that must be possessed by a Muslim trader is to be good so that what is done will provide benefits to others so that the business carried out does not only benefit themselves but also benefits others.

Abstract:
Madrasah Ibtidaiyah of KAHASRI is an institution appointed by the Indonesian Ministry of Religion to implement the 2013 Curriculum or called K13 both in thematic and religious learning which is in line with Decree of the Director of Islamic Education Number 3525 in 2017 about Determination of the Implementation of the 2013 Curriculum. Data collection techniques were interviews, observation, and documentation. Interactive data analysis used Miles and Huberman model, with the following steps; condensation, data presentation, and verification. The results of this research reveals that; 1) learning design of k13 is the teacher in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah KAHASRI of Probolinggo make learning tools such as Educational Calendar, RPE, Prota, Promissory Notes, Syllabus, and RPP. In making learning tools, there is a teacher who makes individually and together KKG (Teacher Working Group). 2) the implementation of K13 learning in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah KAHASRI of Probolinggo has three activities such as; introduction, essence, and closing. In introduction preceded by giving apperception, giving motivation, delivering purpose and the benefit of learning. In the essence activity the teacher had done scientific activity such as; observe, ask questions, try, associate / collect, and communicate. In closing, the teacher made a conclusion of material given and gave task. (3) Evaluation of K13 learning in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah KAHASRI of Probolinggo used authentic assessment models including three aspect; aspects of attitude, aspects of knowledge, and aspects of skills.

Abstract:
Berbicara merupakan salah satu keterampilan penting pada aspek berbicara yang harus diperhatikan dalam berkomunikasi. Dalam proses belajar bahasa Inggris, banyak pelajar merasa kesulitan mengucapkan bahasa Inggris terutama pada pengucapan vokal. Sementara, pengucapan yang salah dapat mempengaruhi makna dan akan menyebabkan kesalahpahaman. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis jenis kesalahan dalam pengucapan vokal monofthong (monophtong vowels) dan menganalisis kesalahan vokal yang paling sering terjadi pada bahasa Inggris. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif kuantitatif dan metode cluster random sampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 1 GIRI dan responden adalah siswa kelas XI dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 68 siswa dari 2 kelas. Peneliti menggunakan tes lisan dan menggunakan rumus persentase untuk menganalisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis kesalahan yang sering dilakukan oleh siswa adalah penggantian dan penyisipan. Kemudian, kesalahan tertinggi yang paling salah diucapkan oleh mereka adalah dalam pengucapan / I / vokal dengan persentase total 97,06%. Siswa disarankan untuk banyak berlatih pengucapan dan para guru disarankan untuk memberikan contoh yang benar dalam mengucapkan kata-kata bahasa Inggris terutama dalam vocal monofthong kemudian memberikan lebih banyak latihan dan latihan kepada siswa.

Abstract:
Innovation is a necessity, because there is no stagnant life. Times keep changing, only people or institutions continue to innovate for surviving. While institutions which have no innovation are slow or fast, they are abandoned, stale, not marketable and do not keep up with the times. The innovation of pesantren-based schools is an effort to ensure that an institution continues to withstand the onslaught of modern era. Above destructive reality if not responded quickly, precisely, and intelligently will have more severe impact. In educational context, innovative ideas about pesantren-based schools and PAI learning innovation are one of the solutions which must be taken. Generally, PAI is as a nomenclature in schools, but it is not in Junior High School of Raudatut Tholabah, PAI learning developed at the school are Al-Qur'an - Hadith, Fiqh, SKI, and Aqidah Akhlak. The innovation of Islamic Learning Education Through Extracurricular Activities in SMP Raudatut Tholabah Jenggawah of Jember. It is the strengthening of religious values through the activities of having Dhuha Prayer and Dhuhur together, Reading and writing, tahfidzul and reading Al Qur'an together, Academic Guidance and Counseling Services, Scouting, Sports and the arts.

Abstract:
Pendidikan Islam, sebelumnya hanya dipersepsi sebagai materi ajar, sekarang telah dipersepsi sebagai materi,sebagai institusi, sebagai kultur, dan sebagai system. Inilah yang sekarang tercermin dalam undang-undang nomor 20 tahun 2003 tentang sistem pendidikan nasional dan peraturan pemerintah secara operasional mengatur pelaksanaan undang-undang tersebut. Dengan demikian, maka peneyebutan istilah “pendidikan islam” bisa mencakup empat persepsi: pertama, pendidikan islam dalam pengertian materi; kedua, pendidikan islam dalam pengertian institusi; ketiga, pendidikan islam dalam pengertian budaya dan nilai-nilai, dan keempat, pendidikan islam dalam pengertian pendidikan yang islami. Oleh karenanya dalam konteks perubahan zaman, perkembangan institusi pendidikan islam tidak sepenuhnya bisa menghindar dari perubahan, sebagiman pondok pesntren, lembaga-lembaga islam juga mneganut prinsip “continuity and change” atau dalam bahasa pesantrennya disebut“ al-muhaadhah alal qadim ash-shalih wal akhdzu bil jaded al-ashlah”, intitusi pendidikan islam akan terus melakukan perubahan dan adopsi inovasi tetapi tetap mmepertahankan tradisi yang baik dan bermanfaat.

Abstract:
Meledaknya pemberitaan kasus video pribadi artis pada pertengahan tahun ini —yang kemudian memancing reaksi kuat baik dari masyarakat sipil maupun pemerintah— setidaknya telah memperlihatkan bagaimana hukum positif yang berbicara moral, dan pengangkatan isu dalam media massa yang tidak proporsional. Kedua hal tersebut tentu melahirkan kecurigaan terhadap pelaksanaan demokrasi di Indonesia karena telah memperlihatkan gejala terjadinya diskriminasi politik; yang dapat berimplikasi pada terkucilkannya perjuangan politik perempuan. Pemberlakuan hukum yang mengedepankan progresivitas dibutuhkan sebagai solusi alternatif bagi permasalahan ini; melalui pengupayaan netralitas hukum dan media massa —yang dengan demikian membuka jalan lebar bagi pembudayaan demokrasi dan kesetaraan gender.

Abstract:
Petik laut ceremony is an activity undertaken by the Puger fisherman community,ethnic backgrounds, religions and culure are diverse, it makes people have particular view in doing that activity that communities are from ethnic Javanese,madurese, mandarin ethnic, and also Chinese ethnic.petik laut is a ritualceremony conducted puger fisherman community to express theirgratitude to the good, the harvest sea, sailing towards salvation in the lord and is done every os Suroor muharram month every year. The goal of the ceremony of petik laut in puger are they hope will get a lot of fishes, the safety when they were fishing and sailing. There are some contradiction between the majority of fisherman and religious leader or ulama that deal with petik laut ceremony. Most of religious leader disagree about petik laut ceremony because of the believe of the fisherman that they will get much fish when the petik laut ceremony were undertaken. Its about believe that Allah only one that give us safety and sustenance or treasure (fishes). Most of fisherman community belive that petik laut ceremony as agent to be safety and about sustenance. In contrast with most of religious leader or ulama that supposed petik laut ceremony is shirk (syirik) in Islamic religion. The contrast thougt between fisherman community and religious leader about petik laut ceremony will not become the conflict because of the awareness of them to be in good social interaction. Mutual cooperation and togetherness still alive in their community in Puger Jember.

Abstract:
Rowosari has a beautiful landscape and natural layout. In the north, east and south, a row of circular pine hills forms a horseshoe. On the east side, back to the pine hill is Raung Mountain, which is almost always covered of clouds, rises to an altitude of 3,344 masl which makes it become the second highest mountain in East Java after Semeru Mount. The volcano located in the Ijen mountain complex area stuck its feet in three districts of Besuki, Jember, Bondowoso and Banyuwangi. However, at one settlement point, namely the Karang tengah village, which is part of the Barat Sawah village, residential settlements are concentrated in area of 1,728 hectares. The location of these settlements go north from the village road, surrounded by stretches of fields and small rivers. There are two entrances to this settlement, west and east. There are 56 heads of families living here with 51 houses. Houses are lined up and stretched, following the taneyan lanjhang-pattern which consists of a collection of houses inhabited by several families. Between settlements and fields restricted with rivers and plants. The contrasting picture between the abundance of natural resources and the social conditions of the Rowosari community raises the general question of this study: why does the agriculture area and the wealth of natural resources not correlate with the population welfare? What happens in the relationship between humans and their homeland? Because the analysis of production relations in the agricultural sector is the backbone of the socio-economic structure of rural society, the analysis is the main theme in this study. What happened in the village, especially in the West field of Rowosari Village, actually it can be solved, for example by institutionalizing savings and loans cooperatives, processing agriculture by using organic farming systems, and developing village tourism by utilizing village potential. Nature tourism: panoramic views of mountains, waterfalls, panoramic views of fields and rivers flowing with clear water, become the main attraction to be developed as a village tour. Livestock and fisheries can also be developed because there are abundant river and green food sources. Village funds can be used for that. The priority of village development should be based on analyzing data from participatory mapping, not by a handful of village government elites. Priority of the programs should be directed by building food security, creating jobs towards village economic sovereignty. actually the land in the forested area could be managed by the community. However, the land management rights given to Chinese ethnic who managed it for cash crops such as sengon and coffee. Village people only become wage laborers to care for, to fertilize and to harvest the results. because of the difficult terrain to reach the location, the villagers were finally reluctant to manage the land with little wage and erratic work. They are forced to look for work outside the village. There must be good faith and political decisions by the village government, for example by making regulations regarding the prohibition of selling agricultural land to people outside the village, so that the land does not turn into housing or become an asset for investment which certainly has no commitment to agricultural development. In addition, villages must develop BUMDES as an economic effort by opening jobs to improve the community welfare, especially for those who do not have job and agricultural land. Management of zakat, infaq, shodaqoh from rich people, if managed properly, can become business capital or help alleviate for those who really need, this could prevent villagers from migrating to the city. Because, if many villagers migrate to the city, when they return, they will bring the culture of the city that is not in line with the values and norms of the village.

Abstract:
Radicalism is an understanding or sect which wants social and political renewal with violence wrapped of terrorism in physical and non-physical forms. Radicalism is an organized movement, a large international network that chooses productive age (17-40 years old) as regeneration cadres. The existence of radicalism brings hardline organi-zations to have an exclusive, rigid and ghallun character, this is the result of a formalistic and literal attitude in interpreting the Qur'an and al-Hadist, make decisions of local Islamic traditions as bid'ah, kafir and haram which must be eradicated. The focus of this study is as follows: what is the category of radicalism based on the classification of PP al-Bidayah Jember and PP Sayyid Muhammad Alawi al-Maliki Bondowoso from kyai, administrators and santri, what is the attitude used, what efforts are made by kyai,, the management and santri in stemming radicalism and how the kyai hope, the management and santri towards the government in resolving terrorists. The research method uses applied research based on practical reasons, curious, and has a purpose to do something more effective and efficient. Selain itu, juga menggunakan penelitian lapangan dan studi kasus. In addition, it also uses field research and case studies. PP al-Bidayah Jember and PP Sayyid Muhammad Alawi al-Maliki Bondowoso as educational institutions that have ahlussunnah wal jama'ah ideology has obliged to maintain and preserve the legacy of saints ideology, spreaders of Islam, in Indonesia. The category of radical Islam according to kyai and santri of the Islamic boarding school PP al-Bidayah Jember and the PP Sayyid Muhammad Alawi al-Maliki Bondowoso are: based on the thought that interprets the Qur'an and al-Hadist literally, based on actions that justify violence in the name of God, and based on symbolic physicality, such the using of flags, shorts, robes, beards and veils. The attitude of kyai, administrators and santri of PP al-Bidayah Jember and PP Sayyid Muhammad Alawi al-Maliki Bondowoso towards radical Islam are passive if only physically symbolic, tolerant of thinking because adheres of particular religion is the right of every citizen, criticize if the understanding of Islamic radicalism is disturbing the community. The strategy of kyai, administrators and santri in preventing the Islamic radicalism through scientific approaches, the preservation of traditions and Islamic culture, development of cultural and structural networks, submission to the authorities. The hope of kyai, administrators and santri towards the government about radicalism includes instrumental, cultural and structural aspects.

Abstract:
The existence of Chengho mosque in Indonesia is inseparable from the Admiral Chengho expedition history which visited in the archipelago, both in the urban area of Surabaya and Jember. Buildings, architects and ornaments of Chengho mosque is very unique and has its own characteristics. Chengho Mosque with its various ornaments is a symbol of the religious expression of Chinese Muslims ethnic to confirm their Islamic identity and chivalry. Therefore, this study focused on the religious expression of the Chinese ethnic in Surabaya and Jember with three formulations of the problem, namely how the typology of Chinese ethnic in the Chengho mosque in Jember and Surabaya? How do Chinese Muslims ethnic use the Chengho mosque in Surabaya and Jember ?, and what are the religious expressions of Chinese Muslims ethnic in the Chengho mosque in Surabaya and Jember? this study uses qualitative methods with the Geertzian and Weberian approach. So that, the result of this research are: the first, the typology of Chinese ethnic in Jember can be seen from three components, namely religion adopted, choice of profession and cultural arts. The second, the society use chengho mosque both in Surabaya and Jember to worship, social cultural and political. The third, Religious expressions of Chinese Muslims ethnic can be seen from three areas, such as the cultural area, the worship area and the socio-political area.
