Abstract:
Pandangan Bapa- bapa Padang Gurun Tentang “Hesychia” - Keheningan. Di dalam artikel ini kami akan menganalisis Perkataan para Bapa Gurun yang disusun oleh John Wortley dalam bukunya yang berjudul The Book of the Elders Saying of Desert Father tentang hesychia. Analisis perkataan mereka juga dipertajam dengan teks- teks di dalam Kitab Suci dan Philokalia tentang hesychia. Hasil analisis 35 perkataan para Bapa Gurun adalah adanya 8 kebajikan jiwa penting di dalam hesychia yaitu: melatih roh (askesis), pemurnian (purifkasi), fokus kepada Allah (nous atau mata tunggal), berjaga-jaga (nepsis), keheningan (silence), pengendalian diri, ketersapihan nafsu (apatheia), dan kasih. Delapan kebajikan jiwa dari hesychia ini dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan spiritual seperti di masa pandemi ini.

Abstract:
In this century, we repeat religion-based violence and mixed with politics from the past. Beyond that, the basis of this form of violence is because it emphasizes the aspects of exclusion in diversity. All of these forms have an impact on the lowest universal value, namely human dignity (also the nature). We would indeed talk about the dignity of creation including the universe. But at this time, the purpose of this paper will only discuss how dignity has reflected only on the limits of human dignity from a theological-philosophical perspective. Especially for building a culture of peace. The dignity of the 'Liyan' must be seen as 'text'. There are many approaches and disciplines for that. However, I try to construct it at the most basic level of efforts to build a culture of peace, namely the interpersonal level. Therefore, the ethics of relations is using to re-read human dignity in diversity to reach the point of encounter, and the values of dignified relation rather than exclusion, and all violence forms as a final consequence.Keywords: the culture of peace, violence, theological-philosophical, ethical relations, diversity.

Abstract:
Abstrak:Pandemi Convid-19 telah mengubah peradaban manusia. Pandemi ini bukan lagi hanya sebatas penyakit yang melanda umat manusia. Pandemi ini menjadi momentum bagi manusia untuk mengupayakan perspektif baru tentang kehidupan. Hal itu juga yang terjadi bagi gereja. Pandemi Covid-19 telah menggoncang kemapanan bergereja seperti ini, seperti fenomena ibadah rumah yang menggantingkan ibadah di ruang gereja. Tidak hanya itu saja, pertemuan ragawi digantikan oleh pertempuan virtual. Karena itulah, gereja perlu menampilkan wajah baru akibat pandemi Covid-19. Wajah baru gereja itu diupayakan terhadap pemaknaan Perjamuan Kudus, sebab Perjamuan Kudus tidak hanya ritus dalam gereja. Perjamuan Kudus menjadi rujukan nilai dalam mengupayakan pola bergereja yang aktual dan otentik di dunia ini.Kata Kunci:Perjamuan Kudus, Pandemi Covid-19, Gereja The Convid-19 pandemic has changed human civilization. This pandemic is no longer just a disease that afflicts humanity. This pandemic has become a momentum for humans to seek new perspectives on life. That is also the case for the church. The Covid-19 pandemic has shaken the establishment of churches like this, such as the phenomenon of house worship which has replaced worship in church spaces. Not only that, physical encounters were replaced by virtual clashes. For this reason, the church needs to put on a new face due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The new face of the church is sought for the meaning of Holy Communion, because Holy Communion is not only a ritual in the church. Abstract:
Artikel ini adalah sebuah ulasan tentang Kemuliaan Seorang Imam Dalam Mengembalakan Domba-Domba Kristus Menurut John Chrisostom dalam bukunya yang berjudul Priesthood/keimamatan. Kemuliaan diartikan sebagai hal atau keadaan yang mulia, penuh keluhuran, keagungan, kehormatan, keistimewaan, yang dianugerahkan Allah sesuai kehendak-Nya, salah satunya jabatan kemuliaan kepada seorang Imam yang menjadi wakil Kristus dalam mengembalakan domba-domba-Nya. Sebagai seorang Imam Ia harus mempertanggungjawabkan apa yang Allah percayakan. Ia sangat dituntut dalam pengalaman pelayanannya yang mencakup (karakter, kecerdasan, sikap hati), Pertumbuhan spiritualitasnya, melibatkan Roh Kudus dalam hidupnya, karena itu sangat menentukan keberhasilan pelayanannya secara maksimal. Seorang Imam harus memiliki pengaruh terhadap domba-domba Kristus yang Ia gembalakan, Ia harus mencerminkan Karakter Kristus bukan atas kemauannya sendiri serta mental yang kuat dalam menghadapi berbagai macam kesulitan dalam pelayanan, memberikan terobosan atau perubahan yang menarik dan kekinian untuk memperluas kerajaan Allah dibumi. Sehingga domba-domba yang Ia gembalakan dapat menjadi saksi-saksi Kristus yang multiplikasikan banyak murid menjadi pengikut-pengikut Kristus.

Abstract:
The practice of religious education (including Christian religious education) carried out by religious institutions is considered to have contributed to national disunity. This is indicated by the attitude of feeling the most correct self, seeing other people who are different (in the context of religion) as a party that is more inferior so as to bring up the hierarchy (domination-subordination relations) that causes alienation (exclusion) of others. This paper aims to find a friendly form of Christian education in the context of religious heterogeneity. By utilizing the concept of friendship promoted by Jürgen Moltmann, this paper shows that friendship is not just relationships formed in the private sphere but is always conceived and practiced in the public sphere. In Christian Education that promotes friendship, Christians need to transcend borders, transcend church walls and work together with other religious communities for peace and justice.

Abstract:
This research raises the title "Services to Correctional Institutions (LP) as an effort to minimize crime". The purpose of this study is to describe how services to correctional institutions are an effort to minimize crime.The service meant is an activity that occurs in direct interaction between one person and another. In other words, service is described as an effort to serve the needs of others that lead to change. Abstract:
AbstrakPernikahan beda agama adalah sebuah fenomena dan realita yang tidak bisa dihindari. Fenomena ini telah menimbulkan berbagai reaksi bahkan kontroversi dari berbagai kalangan. Apologetika Teologipun berkembang untuk merespons fenomena ini. Terlepas dari kontroversi dan apologetika yang berkembang, isu ini telah menjadi sebuah konteks berteologi khususnya dalam perspektif Teologi pastoral yang kontekstual dan kontemporer. Metode penelitian yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif melalui studi literatur. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana pendampingan pastoral dengan paradigma spiritual care yang menekankan prinsip person centered dihubungkan dengan fungsi-fungsi pendampingan pastoral.AbstractDifferent religion marriage is quite a phenomenon and an unavoidable a reality. This phenomenon has provoked various reactions and even controversies from various circles. Theological apology has also evolved to respond to this phenomenon. Despite the growing controversy and apologetics, this issue has become a theological context especially in the contextual and contemporary perspective of pastoral theology. Abstract:
The meeting of certain cultures and religions with outside cultures and religions results in complex cultural contacts that even overlap. Add more, the high heterogeneity which will affect the process of acculturation, assimilation, inculturation and even enculturation which may increase diversity immunity, but on the contrary triggers sosial irregularities experienced by the Corinthian Christians in 1 Cor. 10: 1-13. The purpose of this study is to see the sosial dynamics of 1 Cor. 10: 1-13 and find the theological message in it by using the interpretation of Sosial-Scientific Criticism (SSC). The use of this method is successful in tracing the sosial aspects that accompany Paul's warnings, advice and message to the diverse Corinthian Christian church. As a result, Paul did a recalling to warning (vv. 1-5) regarding the parallel experiences between his ancestors and them to become learning (vv. 6-10) to then turn to turn (vv. 11-13) towards optimal and total balance. starting with religious regularity, namely loyalty to Allah.

Abstract:
Philocalia is a collection of texts written in the fourth and fifteenth centuries by the fathers and fathers of the Church in the Orthodox Christian tradition. Fearing God is keeping God's commandments, having God's love and souls purified and united with God in salvation This article is a review, there are 7 main points of discussion. First Repentance is leaving the old man (Eph 4:22, Col 3: 9) . The second is to control oneself is to be “watchful” (1Th 5: 6, 1Th 5:10 Rev. 16:15) so as not to get lost. Third, safeguarding knowledge is to know about God. Four, doing God's commandments is that we give hope to Him with full obedience and hope of being saved by God (Psalm 78: 7, Proverbs 19:16). The five fear with all your heart is a heart that is in Divine light. The six Souls free from sin are those who have run to heavenly calls (Phil. 3:14) to attain a goal or perfection. Philokalia adalah kumpulan teks di tulis pada abad keempat dan abad ke lima belas oleh para rahip dan para Bapa Gereja dalam tradisi Kristen Ortodoks. Takut akan Allah adalah melakukan perintah-perintah Allah, memiliki Kasih Allah dan Jiwa di murnikan serta disatukan dengan Allah dalam keselamatan Artikel ini adalah sebuah ulasan, ada 7 pokok pembahasan Pertama Pertobatan ialah meninggalkan manusia lama (Ef 4:22, Kol 3:9). Kedua Mengontrol diri ialah “berjaga-jagalah” (1Tes 5:6, 1Tes 5:10 Why 16:15) supaya tidak tersesat. Ketiga, Menjaga Pengetahuan ialah, untuk tahu tentang Allah. Empat, melakukan perintah Allah ialah kita menaru harapan kepada-Nya dengan penuh ketaatan serta harapan akan diselamatkan oleh Allah (Mzm 78:7, Ams 19:16). Kelima takut dengan sepenuh hati ialah hati yang berada dalam cahaya Ilahi. Enam Jiwa terbebas dari dosa ialah, Jiwa yang telah berlari pada pangilan sorgawi (Flp 3:14) untuk mencapai tujuan atau kesempurnaan. Till Death do us part?(Interpretation of Matthew 19:3-12 Faced with the Partisanship of the Church Against the Wife of the Victim of domestic violence)ABSTRACT Actually, the happy marriage of the coveted all pairs when beginning a commitment to bind themselves in marriage, accompanied by a promise to be loyal to live together in all situations: hard – fun, sick – healthy, poor – rich, until the end of life. But in fact, problems in the marriage are increasingly complex. The problems of the household that is increasingly complicated solved, contribute to the cause of the high divorce rate.HKBP as a protestant church in Southeast Asia uphold the integrity of the marriage of the citizens of his congregation, and impose strict regulations against the case of divorce, founded on the Word of God in the Bible: What God has joined together, let not man put asunder, except for sexual immorality (Matthew 19:6, 9). The problem is, there are certain cases in marriage not because of adultery, but has led to the loss of the existence of the marriage, such as acts of domestic violence that occur repeatedly and chronically, but not applicable as an excuse to allow the occurrence of divorce.This Paper assesses the return of Matthew 19:3-12 for the divorce, which faced up to the alignments of the church against victims of domestic VIOLENCE. Abstract:
Repentance is the second thing we do after we believe and are baptized into Christ Jesus. Repentance means transforming the salvation every day and becoming a lifestyle of believers. Repentance will continue to perfect the image of God in us becoming more and more like God or Christ. And in the end the believers will be united in God (Theosis) by the grace of God. Therefore, the issue of repentance is important to discuss so that every believer can understand this doctrine and practically could do it in his life with Christ. Repentance always starts from sorrow or tears for the sins committed. This tears is the basis of the repentance described by the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 7: 8-11. Then repentance and tears will continually purify our sinful nature to be like Christ likeness. This paper will study the theory or concept of repentance according to the Apostle Paul and will be supplemented by Patristic literature or the Fathers of the Church’s concept.Keywords: Repentance; tears; salvation; theosis; nous.AbstrakPertobatan adalah hal kedua yang kita kerjakan setelah kita percaya dan dibaptis dalam Kristus Yesus. Dan pada akhirnya kita akan menyatu di dalam Allah (Theosis) oleh anugerah Allah. Sebab itu masalah pertobatan ini penting dibahas supaya setiap orang percaya dapat memahami hal ini dan secara praktis dapat mengerjakannya dalam kehidupannya bersama Kristus. Pertobatan selalu dimulai dari dukacita atau kesedihan akan dosa-dosa yang dilakukan. Dukacita ini adalah dasar pertobatan yang dijelaskan Rasul Paulus di dalam 2 Korintus 7:8-11. Selanjutnya pertobatan dan tangisan dikerjakan untuk semakin hari semakin serupa dengan Kristus. Abstract:
No one can be justified before God for doing good deeds. No matter how good a man is, if he does not believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, he will not be saved from the wrath of God to come. There is no human being who is right before God, and no sinful man can save himself in any way. The only way out is in the way that God has given to the problem of all sinners, by sending Jesus Christ to the world to die for sinners. "And for this he came, so that every man believed in him, who was sent by God" (John 6:29). The Bible teaches that salvation is only obtained because of faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the object of that faith. This salvation is known as the statement "Justified by faith. Paul explained this teaching in each of his writings. This teaching of justification by faith has been repeatedly denied by some people who disagree with Paul's opinion. The history of the church from the early centuries to the present has proven the variety of understandings that have emerged from this teaching, but one important thing is that sinful humans are justified by their faith in Jesus Christ before God.Keywords: Paul;history; justified by faith.AbstrakTidak ada seorang pun yang dapat dibenarkan di hadapan Allah karena telah melakukan perbuatan baik. Sebaik apa pun manusia, jika dia tidak percaya kepada Yesus Kristus, Anak Allah maka ia tidak akan selamat dari murka Allah yang akan datang. Tidak ada seorang pun manusia yang benar di hadapan Allah, dan tidak ada seorang manusia berdosa yang dapat menyelematkan dirinya sendiri dengan cara apa pun. Satu-satunya jalan keluar adalah dengan cara yang Allah telah berikan untuk masalah semua orang berdosa, yaitu dengan mengutus Yesus Kristus ke dunia untuk mati bagi orang berdosa. “Dan untuk itulah Dia datang, yaitu supaya setiap orang percaya kepada Dia, yang telah diutus oleh Allah” (Yohanes 6:29). Alkitab mengajarkan bahwa keselamatan hanya diperoleh karena iman kepada Yesus Kristus. Yesus Kristus adalah obyek iman tersebut. Keselamatan ini dikenal dengan pernyataan “Dibenarkan karena iman. Paulus menjelaskan ajaran ini dalam setiap tulisannya. Ajaran pembenaran oleh iman ini telah berulang kali disangkal oleh beberap orang yang tidak setuju dengan pendapat Paulus. Sejarah gereja mulai dari abad permulaan sampai pada masa sekarang ini telah membuktikan beragamnya pemahaman yang muncul terhadap ajaran ini, namun satu hal yang terpenting adalah bahwa manusia berdosa dibenarkan oleh iman mereka kepada Yesus Kristus di hadapan Allah.Kata Kunci: Paulus; sejarah; iman; dibenarkan oleh iman.

Abstract:
Purpose of this study was to describe the meaning of ezer kenegdo and to know position and role of women in the family. The research method used is qualitative research methods (library research). The term of “ ezer kenegdo” refer to a helper but her position withoutsuperiority and inferiority. “The patner model” between men and women is uderstood in relation to one another as the same function, where differences are complementary and mutually beneficial in all walks of life and human endeavors.Keywords: Ezer Kenegdo; Women; Family.AbstrakTujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengertian ezer kenegdo dan mengetahui kedudukan dan peran perempuan dalam keluarga. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif library research. Ungkapan “ezer kenegdo” menunjuk pada seorang penolong namun kedudukannya adalah setara tanpa ada superioritas dan inferioritas. “Model kepatneran” antara laki-laki dan perempuan dipahami dengan hubungan satu dengan yang lain sebagai fungsi yang sama, yang mana perbedaan adalah saling melengkapi dan saling menguntungkan dalam semua lapisan kehidupan dan usaha manusia.Kata Kunci: Ezer Kenegdo, Prerempuan, Keluarga.

AbstrackThe Christian religious education teacher is an educator who provides knowledge about Christianity based on the Bible, centered on Jesus Christ, and relied on the Holy Spirit. Christian Religious Education teachers must be able to offer their bodies in Romans 12:1-3. The understanding of offering the body include: 1)the Christian religious education teacher always i approaches the loving and generous God 2)give advice by encouraging, directing convey the truth of God's Words. 3). renewal of the mind by distinguishing which is good and pleasing to God. Guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen harus mampu mempersembahkan tubuhnya dalam Roma 12:1-3 sebagai ibadah sejati. Abstract:
Jean-Paul Sartre is an atheist philosophical figure that is well known for spreading his idea about existentialism. The purpose of this paper is to know what Jean-Paul Sartre knows about the existence of God. As for the purpose of this writing is to see Jean-Paul Sartre concept of God that said if God exist then humanity is nothing, man will be come it self if they nullify God himself. The method of the research ised is a literature research and descriptive method, which scientifically digs the flow and the core of Jean-Paul Sartre thoughts and what other factor that affects his thinking. The result of this research shows that for Sartre the existence of God only limits himself from freedom. With existence of God humans can’t be free to find their true identity. The real freedom according to Sartre is humans are willing to deny God’s existence in every aspect of their life. The implications tha we can get from Jean-Paul Sartre idea is we have to acknowledge that philosophical thinking can not be separated from the context of its era so we must be careful on understanding Sartre thoughts that stated that we become ourself when we deny the existence of God, that’s why as a human we must be willing to learn through education and our experiences with God, so we can develop meaning for ourself and those around us by prioritizing God. Abstract:
AbstrackThis paper discusses the link between the preaching of the prophet Jeremiah with other parts of the Old Testament, whether it is related to the Torah, the Prophets (Neviim), and the Writings (Khetuvim). The author's assumption is that the preaching of the prophet Jeremiah is inseparable from other parts of the OT. There are passages in Jeremiah that are influenced by the ideas of the earlier OT books, and vice versa Jeremiah also influences the thoughts of the OT books afterwards. Abstract:
This research aims to bring out the true meaning of the Gospel text Luke 3: 10-14. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method with a content analysis approach and exegetical study. The research results obtained are that Luke 3: 10-14 confirms to everyone to share and spread love to others, and rebuke each person to be able to suffice from their own rights so that we should not rob or take the rights of other people. Luke 3:10-14 also teaches us to have the concept of a life of frugal spirituality, which is the concept of a simple and adequate life.Keywords: Spirituality; Frugal; Luke's Gospel Study.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengangkat keluar makna yang sebenarnya dari teks Injil Lukas 3:10-14. Hasil Penelitian yang diperoleh adalah bahwa Lukas 3:10-14 ini menegaskan kepada setiap orang untuk saling berbagi dan menebarkan cinta kasih kepada sesama, dan menegur keras setiap orang untuk dapat mencukupi diri dari apa yang menjadi haknya, artinya kita tidak boleh merampas atau mengambil hak orang lain. Abstract:
Lake Toba is a volcanic-tectonic lake which is rich in natural resources. Wealth and benefits here will keep on exist and continue if humans and nature are in danger of the order of the universe that continues to be pursued together. But the reality is not always the case. Human needs are not limited to degradation of their homes, need ecological awareness that is needed to restore the existing damage. In this study, the method used is a qualitative method with critical theological research. Researchers will implement ecological damage in the Lake Toba area based on informative data. The results obtained indicate the factors causing ecological damage on the part and the parties contributing to the ecological damage are very complex and integrated with each other. This research will be reviewed through Fretheim's perspective that ecological damage in the Lake Toba region will be examined in a necessary relational theology. This theology will help us to see the relational patterns that allow humans to see the broad relations between themselves, God and non-humans. God and His creation are in the interdependence of wholeness. This review will help to critique ecological damage from revised theological studies into a reference to the destructive ecology of community. Thus, awareness of ecological damage is needed as a joint responsibility of every levels of society and the relevance of activities supported by (sustainable creation) because natural damage (Lake Toba) will increase the survival of the community, both today and in the future.Keywords: relational theology; ecological damage; Lake Toba; Fretheim's perspective.AbstrakDanau toba adalah danau vulkano-tektonik yang kaya akan sumber daya alam. Kebutuhan manusia yang tidak terbatas mengakibatkan degradasi lingkungan terhadap tempat tinggalnya, sehingga kesadaran ekologis sangat diperlukan untuk memulihkan kerusakan yang ada. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan tinjauan kritis teologis. Pada metode ini, peneliti akan mengidentifikasi kerusakan ekologi di kawasan Danau Toba berdasarkan data informatif. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor penyebab kerusakan ekologi di dalamnya dan pihak-pihak yang menyumbang kerusakan ekologis terhadapnya sangat kompleks dan terintegrasi satu dengan yang lain. Penelitian ini akan ditinjau melalui perspektif Fretheim yaitu kerusakan ekologi di kawasan Danau Toba akan dikaji dalam sebuah teologi relasional penciptaan. Teologi ini akan membantu melihat pola relasional yang memungkinkan manusia melihat secara luas relasi di antara dirinya (human), Allah dan nonhuman. Allah dan ciptaan-Nya berada dalam interdepensi keutuhan ciptaan yang mencakup kerangka mutualisme. Tinjauan ini akan membantu mengkritisi kerusakan ekologi dari kajian teologis yang diduga menjadi acuan teologi ekologi masyarakat yang destruktif. Abstract:
The space for interaction in society is always influenced by religion and culture as binding aspects, both individually and in groups. This study aims to reveal how the relationship between culture and religion in the development of Toba Islam in Huta Sijungkang, Parlilitan sub-district, Humbang Hasundutan district. The study was conducted with a qualitative approach through interviews and literature studies. Based on research conducted in the development of Islamic religion in Huta Sijungkang, culture and religion are not two contradictory entities, but an inherent unity to regulate relations in society. This has made the people not patterned based on religion, so that cultural and religious dualism is not a conflict, but rather a cultural identity and values that continue to be lived by the Huta Sijungkang community. Abstract:
This paper is an attempt to reinterpret the Song of Songs 7:10 - 8: 4 using the Critical Historical approach in a gender perspective. The Critical Historical Approach is a method of interpretation that emphasizes historical findings, both the history of the text and the history of the context of the text. For a very long time this passage has been interpreted allegorically, human relations with God are like lovers, but this time the text will be interpreted more freely and let it speak independently of traditional concepts of thought. The Song of Songs 7:10 - 8: 4 was written in the Babylonian Exile when the Persian Empire ruled the land. In socio-historical terms, the text can be understood to offer a new concept for the improvement of the nation which at that time needed new strength, namely gender equality between men and women. Abstract:
In the Bible, we do not see the description of pain and healing as we haveencountered in the world of medicine. However, from a number of terms thebackground or meaning can be known. In the Old Testament, sickness is due to someone experiencing in their body something incomplete, or “badevents”. He does not experience normal bodily and mental life, perhaps due to infection, imbalance (harmony), or backward health, so he is called sick (holi). We see that healing is one of the responsibilities that humans can do for people who suffer from illness. The role of doctor and his remedybecomes and seems to indicate his responsibility towards the sufferingperson, who is deficient in reaffirming the people (cf. the term “hzk piel” in Jeremiah 30:21; 34: 4). In the New Testament, we do not find theimpression of illness arising as a sign of God's punishment, but instead inJesus’ ministry, He healed people, a sign of reestablishing the order of life with God (cf. Luke 4:18). Healing is generally an act or a way to heal the sick, and it can also be mentioned that healing is divine. Healing in Greek is called in the plural meaning the gifts of healing. The healing of miracles in the Gospel of John emphasizes the dynamic work of God and the sign (Greek: semeia) of His power. Disease is not only a result of sin, but also shows God’s work (9:3). So it is clear that healing miracles is not only valid individually, locally, or temporarily physical meaning, but also in general, provision and spiritual.Keywords: Healing, Congregation

Human life which is very complex with all its activities adds to the problems that must be faced which tend to plunge into pain and stress. This study aims to examine and understand howpastoral counseling is for the sick. The method used is a qualitative methodor library research, with the research strategy analyzing various literatures related to the title of this paper. This research found, how pastoral counseling for sick people, so they can be helped and recovered from the disease they experienced. On one hand, there are frictions between Old Testament scholars about the historicity of Jeremiah's own figure. Is the figure of Jeremiah real or not real? Abstract:
The article describes the doctrine of the Holy Trinity according to the views of the Church Fathers formulated in a Nicene and Constantinople Creed (Nicene Creed). There are many errors and debates about this doctrine throughout the ages including today. This article is important because it puts the right theological foundation, which is orthodox understanding (straight teaching) about the Trinity. The author will describe the 8 points of the Nicene Creed and interact with the Scriptures and the writings of the Church Fathers. The Holy Trinity is essentially One God in Three Persons or Three Persons in One Essence or the Essence of God, namely the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God so the Trinity God does not speak about the number of God but the existence of God . Abstract:
Our understanding of “Love and Power” at a glance seems to be the opposite of one another. Generally, the term “Love” is related to understanding or elements that are always modest, succumbing, helpfull, gentle, doing good or in other words always related to conscience “Love” is done not with the intention of being rewarded, but sincerely done and selflessly. Likewise about the term “Power”, it seems like the opposite of “Love”, as if “Power is something that relies on authoritarianism, governing, regulating without compromise, and found in a system of royal government that has the right or authoritarian to regulate the one under it based on the power that is in it. In this paper, the writer tries to describe the meaning and reciprocity of the two words which are viewed in term of Christianity in terms of Christianity, “Love and Power” is not two words that have conflicting meanings, but are interconnected and influence each other in realizing a complete system or link. Untuk memahami perkembangan politik Israel dalam teks narasi penciptaan, maka penelitian ini dilandasi dengan metode kualitatif yaitu pendekatan eksegetis dan penafsiran modern yang mempergunakan ilmu-ilmu sosial dan juga politik; khususnya juga ilmu-ilmu arkeologi sebagai hasil-hasil penemuan untuk memperoleh “kebenaran” yang selama ini dicari dan digali dalam kepenulisan Perjanjian Lama. Abstract:
This paper is an attempt to critically interpret the text of Romans 9: 6-8 and 11:23-24 which was born because of Paul's struggle with what happened in the Christian community of Rome. Israel is God's covenant people, but on the other hand they have also expressed rejection of the salvation brought by Jesus Christ. The status of the covenant people is being questioned by non-Jews, is it still valid? Paul explained that "God's Word cannot fail," meaning that Israel's status as a chosen people does not fade away. But Israel's refusal at the same time gave space to other nations to be part of that publicity. AbstrakPertumbuhan hidup rohani manusia pada zaman modern sekarang mengalami dinamika yang bertumbuh dan berkembang secara terus-menerus. Pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tersebut seiring dengan dinamika pemikiran manusia yang senantiasa berpengaruh terhadap pengaruh zaman yang serba modern dan instant. Zaman sekarang disebut zaman globalisasi atau zaman mendunia yang sangat mempengaruhi hidup manusia pada umumnya dan hidup keluarga pada khususnya. Globalisasi mengakibatkan banyak perkembangan. Setiap perkembangan itu mempunyai dampak ganda bagi kehidupan keluarga yakni dampak positif dan dampak negatif. IPTEK yang semakin canggih sangat berjasa bagi kehidupan keluarga. Lewat IPTEK yang semakin canggih, membuat kehidupan keluarga semakin santai, enak, gampang, serta komunikasi lancar sehingga jarak bukanlah suatu penghalang bagi kelancaran komunikasi sekarang ini. Seberapa besar dampak dari perkembangan dari IPTEK bagi kehidupan keluarga, itu tergantung pada setiap pribadi yang menjalaninya. Keluarga merupakan Gereja kecil sehingga dengan caranya sendiri keluarga lambang yang hidup dan penampilan historis bagi misteri Gereja. Maka, sebagai keluarga kristiani yang beriman harus mampu menciptakan dan membangun Kerajaan Allah di dialam perjalanan hidupnya sehari-hari yakni mampu memancarkan cinta kasih bagi sesama anggota keluarga maupun bagi semua orang yang ada dalam lingkungan keluarga, masyarakat maupun dalam lingkungan hidup menggereja. Abstract:
Abstrac The aim of this research is to dscribe concept of the position of women in the worship according to 1 Thimothy 2:11-12 and to formulated what can be reflected in this time? Is the interpretation of this chapter still relevant in the midst of contemporary life? This research is used by descriptive qualitative research methods with using literature (library research). The interpretation that is use in this research is exegesis method with the right step to get the right interpretation. With the literature that have a relation with the title, the writer try to review 1 Thimothy 2:11-12 to get the clear meaning, point out view that was said by the writer of this hook about the position of women in the worship. In this chapter Paul said a women can't teach and she is better keep silence. Paul said these case have a corelation with the patriarch culture at the time. Paul aim to prevent women from teacher heretical at the time. This teaching is actually addressed to the woman who was involved in the heresy/ false, who have abuse the ercercise of power that is true in the church. So Paul said that such matter is not to be understood universally. From this research or exegesis the writer conclude that the woman also be used in God's work, a woman also can be a servant of God because nor only man can serve God woman also called to do the same thing. Proper or not is not about gender. Because man or women are same in the presence of God So. it's not true when this chapter be a reason to limiting the space of woman in the service both in the church and in the family and society. Abstract:
Abstrak Pandangan orang Kristen mengenai kemiskinan, terjadi karena disebabkan ketimpangan struktur masyarakat dimana sekelompok kecil masyarakat yang kebetulan kuat dan mapan, secara ekonomis dan politis menindas golongan atau sekelompok besar yang berada dalam kemiskinan. Kelompok besar (yang miskin) tidak diberikan kesempatan sehingga mengakibatkan kekecewaan dan keputusasaan, kegelisahan dan kekuatiran serta keraguan kepercayaan kepada Allah bahkan mempengaruhi dan mengganggu pikiran. Maka untuk menghindari atau mengentaskan kemiskinan, yang kuat membantu yang lemah, yang kaya membantu yang miskin. Dalam Alkitab kemiskinan itu tidak dianggap sebagai kehendak Allah. Justru Allah melawan kemiskinan memberi perhatian yang khusus kepada orang miskin dan lemah dengan kasihNya di mana Yesus disalibkan dan membawa kemenangan bagi manusia. Jadi kemiskinan tidak didatangkan oleh nasib atau kehendak Allah. Tetapi adalah karena perbuatan-perbuatan manusia. Orang Kristen, melihat kemiskinan tersebut dari segi materi dan juga rohani. Kristen mengatakan orang-orang yang miskin secara rohani adalah orang-orang yang miskin dihadapan Allah, orang-orang yang rendah orang yang berduka cita, orang yang lemah-lembut, yang menggantungkan diri kepada Allah bukan kepada manusia. Abstract:
He environment has a very important life support function. Therefore, management and development are directed to maintain its existence in a dynamic balance through various safeguards and rehabilitation efforts and also the efforts to maintain balance between its elements continuously. Furthermore, it is necessary to improve the harmony of the population and the environment, develop environmental awareness, and encourage participation and self-help of the community in preserving the ability of life (preserving the environment). The attitude and mentality of human who are not aware of the meaning and function of the environment, as well as the meaning of humanity as God's creation have caused various problems in the environment. Humans are given the mandate by God to guard, account for in their use and maintenance, because humans are the highest creation of God from other creations. This paper will describe the meaning of the integrity of creation and environment, the basis of theology about the integrity of creation and environment, problems about the environment, attitudes and responsibilities of Christians about the integrity of creation and environmental sustainability, analysis and conclusion.

Abstract:
Struktur dan komposisi kitab suci dibuat secara sembarangan atau tidak sengaja. Ada banyak alasan, dan tujuan yang tersirat dari penulis dan editor di dalamnya. Makalah ini memaparkan format dan proses penyusunan kitab Ulangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, jenis telaah sistematis. Sedangkan hermeneutika yang digunakan adalah metode kritik historis, khususnya kritik literal. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa bentuk akhir dari Ulangan adalah produk kompromi pasca-pembuangan oleh editor dari Selatan (Yehuda). Upaya kompromi ini memiliki dua tujuan, yaitu sebagai panggilan dari TUHAN kepada Israel untuk mengingat status "umat pilihan", dan sebagai bentuk pengakuan iman bangsa Israel untuk setia kepada Tuhan, bukan kepada allah lain.

Abstract:
AbstrakIndonesia adalah bangsa yang majemuk. Keadaan ini berpeluang dan sensitif terhadap konflik sosial jika sikap toleran yang rendah, kepentingan politik dan fanatisme. Tujuan penulisan yaitu menemukan makna teologi “Ketuhanan” dalam konteks pluralisme agama. Metologi penelitian dilakukan dengan studi analisis isi. Kesimpulannya yaitu, pertama; kata ketuhanan tidak boleh difahami dari aspek agama tertentu saja dalam kemajemukan di Indonesia. Kedua; ketuhanan berarti sifat-sifat yang mengindahkan Tuhan sebagai tampilan antropomorfis oleh agama manapun. Ketiga; Ketuhanan merupakan hasil sejarah perumusan sila pertama Pancasila dengan kesadaran akan bhineka sebagai realita yang harus dirawat, dijunjung tinggi dan dihormati dalam berbagai aspek hidup melebihi agama. The purpose of writing is to find the meaning of theology of as mentioned earlier in the context of religious pluralism. The methodology by content analysis, further interpret theologically. The concludes the theological meaning of God in the first principle of the Pancasila; is first, the meaning of divinity should not be understood from certain aspects of religion only in the context of pluralism in Indonesian. Second; divinity means the properties of God or attributes that need the God as an anthropomorphic appereance of and for any religions. Third; the sentences of “belief in the one and only God is the achierement of reconciliation of the historical resultsof the first principle of pancasila with the awareness of the difference as a reality that must be nurtured, upheld and respected in various aspects of life beyond certain religious values.
