Abstract:As a primary need, shelter or boards are often to the top priority in human life which must be fulfilled after clothing and food. The Police Dormitory from Indonesian Republic Police Education And Training Institutions – Police Academy or abbreviated in Indonesian “Lemdiklat Polri – Akpol” is residential facility in the police dormitory provided for personnel and staff who teach or served in the Police Academy both members of the National Police or PNS (Goverment Employees). Not infrequently this dormitory are also inhabited more than two years by its members who serve in the Indonesian Republic Police Education And Training Instituitions – Police Academy. The majority of residents can be said to be decent enough to buy, or rent and inhabit outside the plice dormitory which has far better conditions than the police dormitory itself. This paper aims to determine the factors that make them stay at home to live there, even thought they can rent or buy more suitable home to live. The method used is mixing of qualitative methods and quantitative methods called mixed methods, and also look at the psychological and economic aspects of them. The results of the study reveal that there are a numbers of reasons for neighboring life that are safe, comfortable, economically affordable, the tranquility and natural silence in the surrounding area along with pollution – free air makes the residents still remain even though this location is far from the economic center in mainly.

Abstract:Perkembangan model penataan kawasan di Indonesia membuat kantor kecamatan perlu mewadahi kegiatan formal dan informal masyakatnya. Kantor kecamatan dituntut mampu mengoptimalkan luasan yang dimilikinya untuk berkumpul, melakukan aktivitas masyarakat serta menjadi sebuah pusat pemerintahan skala kecamatan yang tanggap saat terjadi bencana khususnya dapat menampung masyarakat dengan cukup ruang. Dari berbagai permasalahan yang ada di lokasi, maka dibutuhkan suatu studi untuk mengetahui kecamatan untuk dapat dikembangkan, baik itu di relokasi atau dikembangkan kembali dengan tapak yang sama. Studi ini membahas tentang pembobotan tapak sebagai acuan mengembangkan kantor kecamatan. Studi dilakukan secara kuantitatif dengan menggunakan deduktif. Kajian regulasi dan pustaka, studi observasi lapangan dan studi kasus dilakukan untuk mengkonfirmasi kelaikan tapak eksisting. Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk menentukan kelaikan tapak yang sedang digunakan sebagai kantor kecamatan. Hasil yang dicapai adalah kelayakan kondisi eksisting tapak until dikembangkan menjadi kantor kecamatan dengan beberapa Saran perbaikan.

Abstract:Shopping mall merupakan salah satu bangunan komersil yang sudah menjadi gaya hidup bagi sebagian besar masyarakat perkotaan. Masyarakat pergi mengunjungi shopping mall untuk memenuhi memenuhi kebutuhan seperti berbelanja, maupun sekedar berekreasi dan mencari hiburan. Sebagai bangunan umum yang menawarkan berbagai fasilitas dan ramai dikunjungi oleh masyarakat, shopping mall perlu dilengkapi dengan sistem wayfinding yang baik supaya pengguna bangunan tidak mengalami disorientasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penyusunan laporan ini adalah metode deskriptif, dokumentatif, dan komparatif dimana penyusunan dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data, menjelaskan, dan menjabarkan terhadap informasi terkait bagaimana pengaruh bahan lantai serta pemilihan bahan lantai yang baik dan murah diaplikasikan pada jalur pedestrian bagi kenyamanan dan keamanan pengguna. Wayfinding adalah kemampuan seseorang untuk bernavigasi dalam suatu lingkungan. Sistem wayfinding adalah fasilitas yang memiliki fungsi memberikan kemudahan bagi pengguna dalam bernavigasi. Sistem wayfinding yang baik dapat ditinjau melalui empat strategi, yaitu: District, Streets, Connection, dan Landmarks. Jika pengguna dengan mudah membayangkan keempat strategi tersebut dalam suatu diagram “mind map”, ketika berada dalam suatu bangunan atau lingkungan maka dapat dikatakan bahwa bangunan atau lingkungan tersebut memiliki sistem wayfinding yang efektif.

Abstract:Building information modelling (BIM) is a system that integrates multi-dimensional aspects of construction project at every phase. Simply said BIM unified all project databases from and to all stakeholders. This system still continuously developed and widely spread on each countries construction projects. In architecture, the BIM has been revolute the human resource requirements on the projects. Indonesia as developing country is still performing transitions from large worker project into more compact projects; from centralized projects into decentralized project. The BIM system has been a mandatory in several Indonesia big infrastructure projects to plan, simulate, design and deliver databases for making more quick decision making and improve the facilities. This paper aim is describing the benefit-challenge factors of BIM adoption on Indonesia architecture projects and the potential driving factors of BIM application. This study was qualitative paradigm with analysis method of selected literatures and previous research paper review which stratified by the cases. The results of this study are BIM bring the high efficiency and represent the complete skills for an architect. However the high initial cost of technology and human investment, the unsupported regulation and conventional system resistant challenged the Indonesia architecture society to adopt BIM. Furthermore the Indonesia architecture education is still struggling to learn and teach the BIM as an integral part in studio as the agent of change.

Abstract:Setiap daerah memiliki kebudayaan yang berbeda-beda. Rumah adalah salah satu hasil dari kebudayaan. Kuantan singingi sebagai sebuah daerah yang berkebudayaan memiliki ciri dan bentuk bangunan rumah adat yang memiliki ciri khas tersendiri. Rumah adat di Kuantan Singingi disebut dengan rumah godang. Sebagai sebuah rumah adat, rumah godang memiliki konsep ruang dan bentuk yang berbeda dari ruang rumah pada umumnya. Rumah godang dikuantan singingi juga dikenal dengan istilah rumah koto karena rumah tersebut dibangun di daerah yang disebut dengan koto. Salah satu daerah yang masih memelihara dan menjaga warisan rumah godang di kuantan singingi adalah daerah Koto Sentajo. Tulisan penelitian ini bertujuan menemukan konsep Ruang dan Bentuk yang ada pada rumah godang di Koto Sentajo. Pembahasan dengan menggunakan Metode deskripsi analisis bertujuan untuk menyampaikan deskripsi secara mendalam tentang konsep ruang dan bentuk pada rumah godang di daerah Koto sentajo.

Abstract:Tourism has proven as economic generator in several local districts in Indonesia. Natural resources have significant factors in accelerating the tourism developments. Sumber seneng in Rembang county is an example of the natural resource based tourism district. However the development of Sumber seneng park is still on going process related to the district potential’s study. ADO-ODTWA (Analisis Daerah Operasi Obyek dan Daya Tarik Wisata Alam) is an analysis for tourist attraction from Indonesia Forest and Natural Conservation Agency. This research was part of the study to evaluate Sumber seneng park as object tourism case using ADO-ODTWA analysis. This study performed literature study to arrange the evaluation sheet, site observation based on the ADO-ODTWA evaluation’s results as case study. The result of this study shown detail steps to evaluate tourism object using ADO ODTWA and mentioned that Sumber Seneng Natural Park has potentials to be tourism object and need more development to optimize it.

Abstract:Vertical occupancy, especially apartments, began to live the face of the city. Not without reason, housing needs continue to increase sharply as the availability of vacant land is increasingly limited. Occupying an apartment becomes a trend and lifestyle for young people. The reason boils down to productivity. The construction of apartments is usually built close to various activity centers, both business, commercial, education, health to entertainment. The improvement of building construction is not supported by the availability of land that is increasingly limited, especially in the city of Jarakta, making the construction of high-rise buildings anticipate this. The construction of multi-story buildings also increases the risk of fire. In 2018, according to him, there were at least 1,078 recorded disaster events throughout 2018. Head of the Jakarta Fire and Rescue Management Agency, Subedjo, said that out of a total of 897 buildings or tall buildings in Jakarta, 280 tall buildings had not yet accomplished the fire protection system (Dinas, 2018).Therefore, this research needs to be done to evaluate the lifesaving facilities and infrastructure in the building. The application of fire safety in buildings can be evaluated regarding to NFPA 101 (2013). Based on NFPA 101A: Guide on Alternative Approaches for Life Safety (2013), there are 12 elements of safety and Regulation of the Minister of Public Works No. 26 / PRT / M / 2008 concerning Technical Requirements of Fire Protection Systems in Building Buildings. The building that became the object of research is one of the buildings in the area of Jakarta mentioned building X and building Y. The variables that are the focus of the research are fire stairs, fire doors, and access roads. Based on the results of the study, the level of reliability of the means of saving lives against fire hazards in building X is equal to 58% and in building Y is 65%.

Abstract:Kota merupakan salah satu tempat kehidupan manusia yang dapat dikatakan paling kompleks, karena perkembangannya dipengaruhi oleh aktivitas pengguna perkotaan. Kota Semarang yang mempunyai fungsi dan peran sebagai Ibu Kota Provinsi Jawa Tengah, menunjukan adanya pertumbuhan fisik yang dilaksanakan oleh berbagai pihak dengan kepentingannya masing-masing. Pembangunan fisik tersebut yang dilaksanakan adalah penyediaan fasilitas perdagangan dan jasa yang didalamnya termasuk bangunan komersial seperti mall. Keberadaan mall yang semakin marak, secara tidak langsung akan meningkatkan persaingan antara mall yang satu dengan mall yang lainnya. Kemampuan untuk menarik konsumen juga sangat perlu dimiliki oleh sebuah mall agar dapat terus mempertahankan keberadaannya salah satunya dengan cara pengaplikasian desain fasad yang menarik dalam perancangan sebuah mall. Keberagaman bentuk fasad bangunan mall berhubungan dengan kualitas visual estetika yang terbentuk dalam setiap bangunan mall yang ada di Semarang. Untuk mengetahui hubungan tersebut, dibutuhkan persepsi pengunjung untuk menilai, sehingga hasil yang didapatkan obyektif.

Abstract:The development of Islam in Indonesia is very rapidly growing, as the largest religion in Indonesia, the need for spiritual good in terms of worship and social is needed in variousregions in Indonesia. Semarang as the capital of Central Java Province became the city which must be the center of development of all aspects of human needs, including religious facilities for the city of Semarang and surrounding areas. One of the areas that became religious facilities, especially Islam in Semarang is the Great Mosque of Central Java. In addition to being the biggest iconic mosque in Semarang and used as a tourist spot, the area provides various facilities to create a circulation to connect these facilities. Circulation becomes an important part of an area because the circulation is always in the access by the perpetrators of the area, the perpetrators in question one of them is the visitor. Ease and comfort of the circulation become things to note so that visitors will feel at home to come to the area. Circulation in the Great Mosque of Central Java is a concern to be discussed in this paper, because in addition to the needs of the surrounding community will be provided facilities that are always in access by the community, the Great Mosque of Central Java is also used as one of the tourist attractions in Central Java by tourists both local and local outdoors. Signage is also discussed because ease and comfort in the circulation is also determined by good signage.
