Abstract:
Palm brondolan are the outer fruit of the loose bunches and fall to the ground. Palm brondolan is used as a feed ingredient. Processing of palm brondolan for feed ingredients needs to be done by the process of damaging the material structure. This study aims to determine the quality of palm brondolan crusher using standard cutting eyes and determine the right shaft. In this study the crusher machine was designed using 13 circular cutting eyes to see the standard  4 x 1.75 mm, the number of teeth 40 pieces and the distance between cutting eyes 5 mm. This machine uses a source of driving power in the form of a 3 phase electric motor with 3 HP power and has a rotating speed of 1420 rpm and a rotation ratio of 1: 1 shaft. This study uses the experimental method, by comparing the shaft test with the quality of the palm blended crusher. The quality characteristics that are addressed are the smaller the better. The results of the study, obtained an effective engine capacity of 30 kg/hour. The quality of the crusher at 700 rpm shaft speed accelerated the size of coir length from 1 to 30 mm and the volume of shell and seed granules 8-27 mm3 while in shaft rotation 1420 rpm the size of 1-20 mm coir and the volume of grain and seeds 4-12 mm3 were obtained. From the results of the experiment proving that circular cutting eyes see the standard capable of destroying palm leaflets and shaft rotation affect the quality of the crusher. The 1420 rpm shaft rotation has a better crusher quality compared to 700 rpm shaft rotation.

Abstract:
Bicycles are not equipped with the turn signal. For driving safety, a bicycle helmet with a turn signal is designed with voice rrecognition. It is using the Arduino Nano as a controller to control the ON and OFF of turn signal lights with voice commands. This device uses a Voice Recognition sensor and microphone that placed on a bicycle helmet. When the voice command is mentioned in the microphone, the Voice Recognition sensor will detect the command specified, the sensor will automatically read and send a signal to Arduino, then the turn signal will light up as instructed, the Arduino on the helmet will send an indicator signal via the Bluetooth Module. Abstract:
Animal feed knife is a tool that serves to cut and chop animal feed consisting of grass as the main ingredient with additives such as bran, herbs, centrate, cassava, tofu pulp and others. Therefore, as a cutting tool must have the properties of friction resistance, impact resistance, and have good sharpness, so that the material chosen is Ni-Hard 1. The use of centrifugal casting method was chosen because it has the advantage of being able to make castings with relatively thin thickness this is due to the influence of the centrifugal force on the distribution of metal liquids throughout the cavity in the mold. Case study in this study is the use of centrifugal casting methods as an alternative to gravity casting methods to overcome defects of misruns. This research was conducted to investigate the effect of speed on the formation of castings products. The method that was carried out began with a literature study on centrifugal casting, and continued by determining the material, the temperature of the cast is in the range 1250ºC - 1300ºC, and the type of mold. The next step is to do work drawings, pattern making, mold making, casting processes, fettling processes, and analysis. With variations in speed of 200 rpm, 300 rpm and 400 rpm, it can be seen the optimal speed for making this product. The results of this study obtained optimal speed at a speed of 300 rpm to make good quality of animal feed knife products.

Abstract:
Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) is a 3D Printing technique used to print products using filaments as material. The printed product has ideal geometric characteristics if it has meticulous size and perfect shape. One type of material that can be processed using 3D Printing FDM is flexible material. Research in terms of dimensional accuracy has been carried out on PLA and ABS materials. While research using flexible materials is still rarely done. From these problems, we need a study to get the process parameter settings on a 3D Printer machine that is optimal in obtaining dimensional accuracy using flexible materials. The research was carried out using the Prusa model DIY (Do It Yourself) 3D machine with FDM technology. The material used is Eflex type flexible filament with a diameter of 1.75 mm. The process parameters used in this study are flowrate, layer thickness, temperature nozzle, speed printing, overlap, and fan speed. Cuboid test specimens measuring 20 mm × 20 mm × 20 mm. Process parameter optimization using the Taguchi L27 Orthogonal Array method for dimensional accuracy testing. Optimal process parameter values for obtaining X dimension accuracy are 110% flowrate, 0.10 mm layer thickness, 210 °C nozzle temperature, 40 mm/s print speed, 75% overlap, and 50% fan speed. Y dimension is 120% flowrate, layer thickness 0.20 mm, nozzle temperature 230 °C, print speed 30 mm/s, overlap 75%, and fan speed 100%. As well as the Z dimension is 120% flowrate, layer thickness 0.30 mm, nozzle temperature 210 °C, print speed 30 mm/s, overlap 50%, and fan speed 100%.

Abstract:
One of the materials used in the building process is sand particle. Sand with uniform size is generally obtained from manual sifting processes that require a lot of human power and long sieving time, so a sand sieving machine is needed to minimize the use of human power and sieving time. The design is focused on sifting sand manually into sieving using a machine. The design of the machine uses design software to create a picture of the arrangement and working drawings of the components of the sand sieving machine. Based on the results of the trials that have been carried out, the machine can sift 5 kg of sand for 1.02 minutes and for 10 kg of sand can be sifted for 1.30 minutes.

Abstract:
EDM is one of the nonconventional machining processes when making workpieces with conventional machining processes is difficult. This process has been used effectively in machining hard, high-strength and high temperature materials such as high speed steel (HSS) materials. In this study, prototype of EDM machines was carried out with engine variables such as current (A), pulse on time (µs) and pulse off time (µs). The material used is high speed steel (HSS) material used in cutting tools such as turning tools and milling tools. Surface roughness and material removal rate are responses observed to determine the quality of material remaval. The quality characteristic of the surface roughness response is "smaller is better" and the quality characteristics of the material removal rate response is "larger is better. The purpose of this study is to determine the best process parameter level to achieve the required performance characteristics in the material removal process using prototype EDM machines using the gray relational analysis (GRA) method, three process parameters are selected such as current, pulse on time, and pulse off time. The taguchi 3 x 3 x 3 design is used as an experimental design.The best parameter level obtained is current 40 ampere, pulse on time 200 µs, pulse off time 20 µs.

Abstract:
The dancing robot has become an annual competition in Indonesia that needs to be developed to improve robot performance. The dancing robot is a humanoid robot that has 24 degrees of freedom. For 2018 the theme raised was "Remo Dancer Robot". Sound processing provides a very important role in dance robots. This robot moves dancing to adjust to the rhythm of the music. The robot will stop dancing when the music is mute. The resulting sound signal is still analogous. Voice signals must be changed to digital data to access the signal. Convert analog to digital signals using Analog Digital Converter (ADC). ADC data is taken by sampling time 254 data per second. The sampling data is stored and grouped per 1 second to classify the parts of Remo Dance music. The results of data classification are in the form of digital numbers which then become a reference to determine the movement of the robot. Robots can recognize conditions when music is in a mute or a play condition.

Abstract:
Nowaday time indicator as hour and calendar constitutes necessary for thing a lot of person to trip routines. In general, the clock and the calendar can only be seen by normal people. People with special needs, its example is blind will have difficulty in using the clock and the calendar Get bearing with that problem, therefore to help that blind is designed and made by time indicator tool with voice output. Generally, the tool's instructions when using RTC DS1307, is microcontroller ATmega16 and ISD 25 120. Information about hour, minute, date, month, and year obtained from DS1307 RTC is accessed using microcontroller ATmega16, then from the data when the information obtained is matched in the voice storage unit on ISD25120. As a results,will be obtained time information data such as voice. Besides, time setting, alarm, battery level indicator, and charge the battery with the sound as well is the tool is equipped permanently. Finally, this tool can help the blind people to be more independent in making it easier to tell the time in living day-to-day activities.

Abstract:
Bangka Island has high sunlight intensity, but it still has little use as an alternative energy source. Water heater available on the market have experienced a peak of innovation that continues to use electricity as energy, but as we know that heater that use electricity consume a lot of energy. In this research, a solar water heater machine with spiral collector will be made to heat water in a reservoir using sunlight energy and as a tool to see the difference between the continuous method which circulates water continuously from the reservoir to the heat collector with a delay method that circulates water with a certain delay time. Both methods and data retrieval mechanisms are controlled by an Arduino device. Based on the results of the trial, it was found that Solar water heater was able to heat water in reservoir up to 48.92 degrees Celsius and the use of the continuous method made the water temperature higher than the delay method with a maximum difference of 10.66 degrees centigrade.

Abstract:
The Bangka Belitung Islands have enormous natural resources, including mining products, forest products, marine products and plantation products. The cultivated plantation can consist of groups or individuals. One of the plantation products managed by the community in Belitung, especially in the Regency of Bangka, is cassava. Various kinds of food are processed using raw cassava, one of which is produced by a home industry in other words Small and Medium Industries (IKM) in the village of Banyu Asin, Bangka Regency. Using a simple production tool made of wood and fitted with a cutting knife to slice cassava and use a tool that was bought from the market made of plastic base material and installed a blade to slice manually. This research was conducted to help make a machine that can simplify and reduce the energy of workers in the process of making cassava chips. The method used to solve this problem is starting with the compilation of a list of required product requirements, making and selecting concepts, designing components, making detailed technical drawings, making and assembling and testing the function of the tools. Testing the function of the tool is done in order to find out whether the tool that has been made can function properly and can do the desired slicing. The results of the trial process of the cassava slicing machine made were able to increase productivity and slice cassava as much as 96 kg per hour with one operator. Previously, to slice 90 kg of cassava takes 3 hours with 2 operators.

Abstract:
The ability of machine tools to produce a product of good quality is needed by the industrial industry that exists today. Industrial industries that use machine tools are not only industries that produce products in the form of a tool or machine, machine tools are also widely used by industries or institutions that serve machine repair and providers of skills training. The quality of the machine measured using the geometry of the workpiece resulting from the machining process can be in the form of roundness, cylindrecity, tapers and other geometric shapes. The use of machine tools that continue for several years can result in a decrease in the ability of the machine to produce a product. The use of a long horizontal doall lt13 lathe will produce a form of workpiece cylindricity that is not the same as the condition of the the new machine tools, therefore testing activities are carried out by cutting the machine and seeing what the cylindrical value of the specimen is capable of achieving . From the results of the testing that has been carried out on a horizontal lathe as many as eight units, the values of cylindrical difference are different for each machine. The highest value of cylindricity is produced by lathes with machine number 8 and the smallest cylindrical value produced by lathes with machine number 3. The greatest tolerance is achieved in the quality of IT (international tolerance) 11 tolerance and the lowest is achieved in IT tolerance quality 10.

Abstract:
The current electrical dish machine machining (EDM) machine in the field of manufacturing has developed along with conventional machines such as Lathes, Milling Machines, and Grinding Machines as the leading technology. EDM is known for its ability to make complex shapes on very hard metals. EDM machines are widely used in the manufacture of dies, cutting tools, and molds that cannot be done with the cutting process. Therefore the level of electrode wear in the EDM process must be as efficient as possible. The research was conducted to determine the exact EDM process parameter setting values. Variable parameters are current, on time, off time. To optimize the response of this study using the Response Surface Methodology (RSM) method. High electrode wear is obtained in testing with parameters used Ton (300 μs), Toff (15 μs) and Current (20 A), and the smallest wear value is obtained in the test with the parameters used Ton (100 μs), Toff (15 μs) and Current (10 A).

Abstract:
Measurement of the damage of elements in bearing can be by measuring the vibration generated in the form of a frequency signal when the pad is rotating. Measurement of vibration on the bearing by using vibration measuring instrument. Damage to the rolling bearing includes damage to the cage, outer ring, inner ring and balls. The rolling bearings used in this study are deep groove ball bearing type 6003 RS with internal diameter (d) = 17 mm, outer diameter (D) = 35 mm, bearing thickness (B) = 10, number of rolling elements (Nb) = 10 pieces, and the diameter of the rolling element (Bd) = 4.75 mm. In the rotation of the bearing (Fr) = 2003 rpm (33.38 Hz) we found the experimental results of bearings that have been damaged in the outer race at 138 Hz frequency, inner race damage at 196 Hz frequency, (ball) at a frequency of 88.8 Hz and cage damage at a frequency of 13.8 Hz

Abstract:
Mechanical workshop in Polman Bangka Belitung has 8 units Ajax Universal Milling Machine Model No. 2A Mark V. The condition of the engine can not be used maximum, for example a milling machine with a serial number FR12. This machine was damaged at the rotary speed control (rpm) and need repairing process. This study aims to analyze the types and causes damage to the rotary speed control, repair the damaged components and assemble the components to make it functioned with the standard engine. This research is devide in several stages, the first stage is analyzing the causes of the damage, the second stage is repairing and re-assembling the damage components. The last stage is testing for the repaired machine vibration by examining and comparing it with standard and permitted vibration machine and another machine which still good. The test results of the vibration machine is 0.884 mm / s rms for the axial direction and 0.938 mm / s rms for the radial direction. The summary, the vibration is still at the allowed limit which is equal to 1.12 mm / s rms and it means the machine is ready to use.

Abstract:
Betel nut palm plant is one of the many benefits and efficacy, especially seeds. Areca nuts are widely used as the main raw material in the process of making drugs, cosmetics, slimming, snacks, sweets, and coffee. Betel nut processing into betel nut is still constrained by the tool is still modest, are still using wood beams repose knife to split betel nut into two parts. To overcome these problems needed betel nut splitter machine with a capacity of 250 kg / h. This engine design is expected to help farmers during the process of betel nut processing into dried betel nut. The working principle of betel nut splitter machine originated from an electric motor that produces rotation is forwarded to the reducer and to the cutting blade associated with two gears. Betel nut is inserted through the insertion funnel towards the rotor has 4 channels / trench, and rotor spinning and crashing betel nut rotating blades reversed so the rotor besidesbetel nut split into two parts. Abstract:
Peanut cake is one of the typical Indonesian pastries which includes the most popular cakes by Indonesian people including the people of the Province of Bangka Belitung Islands. The process of processing peanut cakes through several stages, namely the processing of peanuts, the printing of bean cake dough. The current method of printing peanut cakes is still manually using one by one as a tool to print the bean cake. The purpose of this study is to design and make a bean cake printing tool that is capable of printing 20 bean cakes in one process. The stages in making this bean cake printing device start from problem identification, planning, designing, tool making, assembling, and testing. Based on the results of the trials that have been carried out, the tool is capable of printing 20 prints in a single process and the dough is not attached to the mold.

During this time corrective maintenance is handled in a manual that is recorded in books that causes data repairing of machine is not documented well. Based on this improvement and maintenance of existing system development should be pursued in order to improve the administration system of care maintenance. Abstract:
Minimum surface roughness results are a desirable objective in the CNC NLX 2500 Y process, a precise adjustment of CNC NLX 2500 Y process parameters should be obtained in order to obtain minimal roughness of the workpiece surface. The research has been conducted to determine the contribution ofCNC NLX Y 2500 process parameters to reduce the variation of the work surface roughness response simultaneously. And the determination of the exact setting of CNC NLX Y 2500 process parameters in order to obtain minimal roughness of the workpiece surfaces. parameters of machining process are variedspindle rotation, cutting speed, the dept of cut. The experimental design is based on the Taguchi method and is an orthogonal matrix L8 (2³). The optimization method used is Taguchi. The experiment was conducted randomly with replication 2 times to overcome the disturbance factor that occurred during machining process. The results showed that to reduce the variation of the response simultaneously, the the dept of cut has the largest contribution, that is 82.6%, the spindle speed has a contribution percentage of 61.9%, the cut rate has a contribution percentage of 9.2%. To obtain a surface roughness of the workpiece is minimal, the spindle rotation is set at 2866 rpm, the cutting speed is set to 0.40 mm / rotation, the dept of cut is set to 1 mm.

Abstract:
The recondition of the Aciera f3/07 milling machine has been done to restore the machine condition to be ready for use. The machine was damaged and caused the machine to be unable to operate and made electrical and mechanical components fail. The feasibility of the machine is tested to see the achievement of the purpose of machine reconditioning. This paper aims to see the results of the geometric testing of the machine compared with the results of running test and the vibration measurement of the machine parts. This study uses an experimental method, where damage to the machine will be identified and the damage will be immediately carried out repairs or replacement of spare parts. Furthermore, machine performance was testing including machine geometry testing, vibration testing and running test in accordance with ISO-1708 standards. The test results show that there is no significant differencebetween the results of the geometric precision testing of the machine on vibration testing and road testing. This can indicate that all three tests can be used as a reference in validating the results of machine repair, especially repairing irregularities in the geometric accuracy of the Aciera F3 milling machine.

Abstract:
Pantiaw is one of the traditional dish made from rice flour served with fish meat grinder and other ingredients. The design of this pantiaw cutting tool uses a press system using a lever. Based on the survey that has been done at the residence of mrs. Yuli, pantiaw produce 8 kg daily. The obstacle faced by yulimother at this time is the process of cutting pantiaw still using scissors or knives sliced one by one. So that takes longer time is 45 minutes to 1 hour. The purpose of making this pantiaw cutting tool is to cut the pantiaw uniformly in a single process, increasing the production capacity and the tool is easy to movearound. The results of the pantiaw cutter test resulted in uniform pieces of pantiaw in one press / process. Capacity 0.5 kg pantiaw processing with 30 seconds.

Abstract:
The Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) method is one of the methods used for multirespon optimization in the manufacturing process. In this research, the material used is Glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP) composite material which is stacked with stainless steel material. The machining process used is a drilling process conducted on a vertical CNC machine Brother TC-22A-O. The thrust force and torque is the response used to evaluate the performance of the drilling process. The quality characteristics of this response "the smaller the better". The aim of this study was to identify the combination of process parameters to achieve the performance characteristics required in drilling process the GFRP-SS material using Particle Swarm Optimization methode (PSO). The three process parameters i.e. point angle, spindle speed, and feeding speed is used as a process parameter. Point angle was set at two different levels, while the other two were set at three different levels. Therefore, the 2 x 3 x 3 factorial is used as the experimental design. The experiments were replicated two times. The minimum thrust force and torque could be obtained by using point angle, spindle speed, and feeding speed are 118o, 2330 rpm, and 65 mm/minrespectively.

Abstract:
The development of industrial in the utilization of composites as a substitute of metal materials that are used is fiberglass. However, fiberglass is considered not environmentally friendly because difficult to decipher. The technology advances, it is now widely used from composite materials with natural fibers.This research was conducted to obtain data about mechanical ability in the tensile strength, impact strength and physical form of Gaharu skin fibers using polyester matrix BQTN 157 with volume fraction variations made by hand lay-up method. This research is expected to be useful in automotive, manufacturing industry and household appliances are environmentally friendly. The maximum value of tensile strength is 34.574 MPa in 45% fiber volume fraction. However, there is a decrease in the tensile strength value in the 50% fiber volume fraction, which is 22,635 MPa, this is due to the large amount of fiber content so that the matrix spread to the fiber is uneven. The maximum impact strength value is 62.76 kJ / m2 at 50% fiber volume percentage. Based on the results of testing the comparison of the fiber and matrix volume fractions greatly affect the tensile strength and impact. The results show tensile and impact tests have met the plastic standards used car dashboards.

Abstract:
The development of technology in the manufacturing sector is very fast, the market demand is diverse will the needs of products and components with complex shapes and high level of precision and hardness of material that has high strength. High degree of hardness and precision are widely used nonconventional EDM machine sinking. the electrode wear rate (LKE) and surface roughness (KP) are at least the performance of the EDM sinking machine process to be achieved. The study was conducted to determine the contribution of process parameters in order to reduce the variation of response parameters simultaneously and to determine the appropriate process parameter setting value. Parameters varied current, on time, off time and machining voltage. This research uses experimental design from Response Surface Methodology (RSM) method. And obtained the most refined Ra roughness results on Ton 100 µs, and Toff 15 µs with 10 A Ampere, and the roughest Ra roughness is obtained at Ton 300 µs, and Toff 15 µs with Ampere 20 A.

Abstract:
The correct function of helmets is to protect motorcycle riders from head injuries during accident and head collision. Most of helmets existing in markets are produced by helmet factories. The price of used materials is quite high because those materials are still imported from overseas. It causes the increasing of helmet production cost and the helmet prices in the market become quite expensive. This research aims to find how a biocomposite material (85 % PP, 10 % husk of rice and 5 % MAPP) can be used as an alternative replacement material for helmet lid preparation on the condition of passing the SNI standar test, namely the penetration test. The testing process is carried out by using the test tools referring to SNI 181-2007. The results of penetration test with thickness of 4 mm showed that the speciment can not be penetrated by indenter in accordance with the requirements of SNI 1811-2007. So that the testing can be used as a reference for alternative materials to make a standard helmet lid.

Abstract:
The industry manufacture with high quality and able to pruduce the workpicece with high quality In industry manufacture are very necessary. The use of high quality machines should be supported by the ability to operate and the ability to perform maintenance, this ability is useful to maintain the condition of the machine in order to produce good quality workpieces. Politeknik Manufaktur Negeri Bangka Belitung has several high quality machine tools, one type of machine tools usually use is lathe machine doall LT13 with total have six units. this machine Used to support education and to produce spare parts. Doall LT13 lathes have been used for 22 years, during that period there may be deviation of machine geometry, deviations that occur can lead to decreased quality of the resulting workpiece. This study aims to determine the feasibility of the machine by measuring the roundness of the spicemen of the process of turning, the roundness of the specimen is analyzed by using the minimum circle method. From the roundness testing performed on the doall lt 13 the result� that can be achieved as follows 0,082 mm at lathe number 8, 0,073 mm at lathe number 5, 0,057 mm at lathe number 7, 0,051 mm at lathe� number 2, 0,048 mm at lathe number 6 and 0,046 mm at lathe number 3.

Abstract:
The design of the press tool is one of the practice courses that teach the skill in designing tool forming and cutting the product from the plate. The quality of the design is determined by the ability to apply the design procedure. Competence is widely applied in the design of drawing prints with a certain level of product complexity. Practice activity of designing drawing drawing of students of Engineering Design Program of Mechanical Polytechnic of State of Bangka Belitung done conventionally, where only using drawing table or computerized depiction software then printed on drawing paper. This results in frequent errors in student design drawings. To overcome these problems required drawing prints that can form a specific product such as ashtrays, with the aim of producing a construction drawing print that can be applied and utilized in the teaching of press tool design. The method of making this tool consists of data collection, concept making, tool design, machining & testing. Based on the results of trials that have been done, carried out on 10 blank by using a lubricant in the form of vegetable oil. Of the 10 experiments the formation showed that the central pool of ashtrays can be perfectly formed, while 4 pieces of the grooves on the ear of the ashtray have not been formed well where there are still folds or curves that are not regular.

Abstract:
The stability of the system is the main objective for Control System Design criteria. PID control with closed loop system is the one of control which can improve the stability of the system from disturbance effect. In this study, DC Motor Speed Control is designed with PID LabVIEW 2010 Software and Proximity Sensor as a closed loop feedback. The system allows the operator to control speed of DC Motor from LabVIEW front panel which automatically stabilized when load �which usually slow down the speed of DC Motor, applied. PID LabVIEW 2010 generates voltage output 0-5Vdc and drives DC Motor through analog output channel from NIDAQ 600, which received by Non-Inverting Amplifier and amplified to 0-12Vdc output. PID Control with Closed Loop system may dampen the speed response second order of DC Motor to have value of overshoot number � 0 with steady state error of �2%. The system feedback can stabilize this condition from outside interference. The result of this speed control system has success criteria of overshoot (Mp) = 0 and Error Steady State (Ess) = 0.82%.

Abstract:
Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) is one of the robots that are being developed in Indonesia for exploring underwater potential. In this final project, the ROV was designed and controlled by Arduino for diving underwater with maximum depth of 30 meters. The application of ROV is that to take pictures and record video of underwater environment in real time by using camera monitored through a PC. The construction and the electronics device of the ROV were made waterproof. The actuator used was bilge pump motor 1100GPH 12 Volt as thruster motor. The thruster driver used was a two channel-relay and the vision system of robot was a CCD camera. Based on the results, it was obtained that the ROV was able to move according to the commands provided by operator using a remote control. At three meters depth, the robot can move forward with average speed of 0.161m/s. For up and down movement at 3 meters depth, the robot can go up with average speed of 0.09 m/s and down with average speed of 0.17 m/s. From the data, it can be concluded that the ROV can maneuver and use the camera properly.

Abstract:
Lathe is a tool that rotates the work-piece about an axis of rotation to perform various operations such as cutting, sanding, knurling, drilling, or deformation, facing, turning, with tools that are applied to the work-piece to create an object with symmetry about that axis. There are several considerations that affect the lathe to work well, especially geometrical deviations that affect the quality degradation of the product in terms of shape and dimensions. One of the wear on the slide-way of the lathe can affect geometric aberrations. This paper discusses the design and manufacture of grinding tools to fix the lathes bed that can erode three slide-way planes in a single process to achieve flatness and square alignment with one another. The research method used is the experimental method by collecting the data needed to design the tool through literature study and direct observation to the lathe, then the data is processed to obtain the specification of the tool that will be designed by design method based on Verien Deutche Ingenieuer (VDI) 222 , the design result is then continued with the machining and fabrication process; before assembling, parts of the auxiliary equipment are tested in accordance with the design function indicator; the last stage is testing the tool as a whole to know the achievement of the tool against a predetermined goal. Based on the results of the grinding experiment on the three slideway planes with a feed depth of 0.03mm, the average flatness and alignment values ​​are 0.02mm / 300mm and 0.07mm / 300mm, respectively. Based on the ISO 1708 standard on the tolerance of geometrical deviations, the grinding results have not allowed the tolerance. Still need more research about the influence of wear of grinding wheels to the grinding results.

Abstract:
Waste is one of the many social problems faced by the community. To solve the problem of waste required a technology to process waste itself. Several studies have been done, one of which is design and construction thrasher machine. There are several studies on the design and construction thrasher machine. However, the analysis was conducted on one type of thrasher machine with a particular waste material. This study aims to obtain the results of the efficiency analysis of the thrasher machine results on the type of thrasher machine and waste material. The method used is experimental method. The type of thrasher machine and waste material used as a free variable. The percentage of the chopping result is chosen as a variable depending on the speed of rotation and thrasher time as the companion variable. The results of this study based on the results of experiments, both qualitatively and quantitatively shows that plastic bottle trash has a suit with shear type, grass litter has a match with the type of swing and trash has a match with the type of crusher.

Abstract:
Vibration measurement technology using conventional sensors such as piezoelectric (PZT) Accelerometer is still expensive. Currently, many low-cost vibration measuring devices have been developed by using Micro Electro Mechanical System (MEMS) technology. This study aims to analyze the results of vibration measurement system MEMS Accelerometer ADXL345 with PZT Accelerometer. This research applies design and develop approach with comparative data analysis technique, that is comparing data of result of measurement of MEMS Accelerometer ADXL345 to PZT Accelerometer Vibroport80. The construction comprises the ADXL345 sensor connected to the Arduino Mega 2560 microcontroller operated by Widows operating system and programming language Arduino IDE 1.08. Testing of measurements at Bearing speeds of 500, 1000, and 1500 RPM with length of time measurements at 5, 10, and 20 seconds respectively. The analysis of the test results shows that the MEMS Accelerometer ADXL345 of vibration measurement system can measure, process and display vibration measurement data larger 3% than PZT Accelerometer and can provide the best measurement accuracy at 20 seconds measurement length of time.

Abstract:
Crane is identical to the pendulum in term of its control mechanism. Based on modelling, these two devices are very similar and therefore, the pendulum can be used as a prototype for controlling a crane. This research aims to control the balance or to reduce the swing on the pendulum by utilizing the moment of gyroscope with a mass pendulum up to 1.5 kg. Gyroscope was designed and made in the form of a disc, in which dimensions and materials used were determined according to the desired moment force. The PID controller was used to control the speed of gyroscope based on the angle of the pendulum (θ). Based on the results of the experiment, it was obtained that the resulting settling time was 2.29 times faster than without control in average. The overshoot and rise time resulted by the system using gyroscope were very similar to the system which is without gyroscope. However, the steady state error was totally eliminated. It can be concluded that the moment of gyroscope is able to be used for controlling the pendulum or crane.

Abstract:
Measurement of the damage of elements in bearing can be by measuring the vibration generated in the form of a frequency signal when the pad is rotating. Measurement of vibration on the bearing by using vibration measuring instrument. Damage to the rolling bearing includes damage to the cage, outer ring, inner ring and balls. The rolling bearings used in this study are deep groove ball bearing type 6003 RS with internal diameter (d) = 17 mm, outer diameter (D) = 35 mm, bearing thickness (B) = 10, number of rolling elements (Nb) = 10 pieces, and the diameter of the rolling element (Bd) = 4.75 mm. In the rotation of the bearing (Fr) = 2003 rpm (33.38 Hz) we found the experimental results of bearings that have been damaged in the outer race at 138 Hz frequency, inner race damage at 196 Hz frequency, (ball) at a frequency of 88.8 Hz and cage damage at a frequency of 13.8 Hz.

Abstract:
Control of mobile robot manually using remote control connected with cable has constraints that limited space of robot movement. For that developed mobile robot control system using bluetooth communication. The purpose of this research is to create a mobile robot control system through wireless communication using voice command instruction via application on Android using microcontroller type Arduino Mega2560. The methodology in this research is the voice instruction will be recorded by the application on Android, then matched with the database and then converted into characters in the form of strings and sent via bluetooth transmitter on Android to bluetooth receiver on mobile robot to be executed by program made on microcontroller robot. The results obtained include mobile robot can move to follow voice command instruction that is given include command forward, backward, turn left and right only for one movement while in test result got error of movement equal to 1.55% with response time 4-7 second because the process of recording and translation of voice instructions on Android and also influenced by noise or other sounds that are not desired.

Abstract:
This paper focuses on improving the performance of a two-tiered windmill savonius to generate electricity through a permanent magnet generator. This study used an experimental method, taking into account the number and angle of the wind turbine Savonius two levels. The study was conducted at wind speed conditions of about 2.85 m / s to 6.42 m / s. Dimensions of windshield savonius blades with a width of 45 cm and a height of 50 cm. The wind turbine is installed with a height of 3.5 meters from the ground. This study uses a gearbox with a ratio of 1: 3.This study produces a maximum power of 95 watts. The average voltage generated 13.75 volts AC to 19.52 volts AC. The energy supplied to the battery uses a battery charger control (BCR).

Abstract:
This study looked at the effect of severed EDM process parameters on the optimum value of titanium alloy hardness. this study uses Design Expert 9.0 software to help develop an experimental plan of response surface method models and CCD. The machine used is Hitachi Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) brand with Series H-DS02-S. Material used titanium 6Al-4V. Electrode used copper (Cu). The process parameters used are Current (A), On time (μs) and Off time (μs). Coolant fluid using Hydroseal 63H. The results of data processing there are 20 experiments. This research shows optimum machining condition for hardness (HV) is 322. Analysis of variance (Anova) shows the value of F arithmetic is 3,94, MSE is 0,022 and p (0,0794). The increase of current and on-time values ​​gives a great influence on surface roughness. The increase of Off time value does not give significant effect to the roughness. The next research will be done with 5 (five) process parameters, Current, On time, Off time, Machining Voltage and Servo feed.

Abstract:
Machine Improvement Element (PEM) is one of the competencies that must be possessed by students Polytechnic Manufacturing of Bangka Belitung (PolmanBabel), in the hope that the students can repair the damage of machine element such as the shaft, peg, gear and thread well. Currently the process of repairing the engine element is constrained in the inspection tools of mesi element improvement such as the shaft. This study aims to design auxiliary media for aberration checks on the axis and can examine alignment and alignment deviations on axis. The stages of this research starts from the collection of data and information, then designing tools, making tools, assembling, and testing. Based on the results of design and testing of the aberration check axis on the axis obtained the magnitude of averages 0.23mm and the magnitude of deviation celery averages of 0.12.

Abstract:
Glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP)-stainless steel stacks used in the aircraft structural components. The assembly process of this components requires mechanical joining using bolt and nut. The drilling process is commonly used for producing hole to position the bolt correctly. Thrust force and torque are responses that used to evaluate the performance of drilling process. The quality characteristic of these responses are “smaller-is-better.” The aim of this experiment is to identify the combination of process parameters for achieving required multiple performance characteristics in drilling process of GFRP-stainless steel stacks materials. The three important process parameters, i.e., point angle, spindle speed, and feed rate were used as input parameters. Point angle was set at two different levels, whilethe other two were set at three different levels. Hence, a 2 x 3 x 3 full factorial was used as designexperiments. The experiments were replicated two times. The optimization was conducted by using genetic algorithm method. The minimum thrust force and torque could be obtained by using point angle, spindle speed and feed rate of 118o, 2383 rpm, 62 mm/min respectively.

Abstract:
One of the efforts that became the target of development in the community by the Simpang Rimba district is chicken and duck farms. This is supported by the large availability of plants that will be used as animal feed such as cassava and taro stalk. However, currently the process of making animal feed is still done manually that is chopped by using a knife or a machete so that the time taken is long and the resulting capacity is limited. The purpose of science and technology for the community of chicken and duck breeders is to increase the production capacity of animal feed up to 100% and the uniformity of the cultivated product increases 100%. The method of implementation used in this service is to make a machine of cattle feed after doing a short training on the operation and maintenance of machinery to partners. Based on the results obtained the use of cassava chopper machine and taro stalk can increase the production process 40 kg within 30 minutes and the thickness of cassava size obtained an average of 2-7 mm so that the percentage of countable can be consumed 100% increase.

Lakso is one of product’s traditional that made from rice flour served with coconut milk, than mixed of fish meat. Lakso always provided available in stores, events, hotels. Stage of make it from preparation of materials, mixing, molding, make kuah lakso, and ready for eating. Lakso is selling at a price of Rp.3.000 sd. Rp. 5.000 per portion and sell for drying lakso at Rp. 80,000 /kg. Objectives of IbM, to improve quality and production capacity, so be able to improve at partner business management. From survey in 5 month ago, production in lakso has not been met and can not be enough for 75-80% wet’s lakso and 1% for dry’s lakso per month. Issues on partners, there are the production equipment, moulding of lakso and drying (heating from Sun). Other issues concerning the management of lakso provision, or sales. The achievements produced, the cooperation of UKM’s Pak Umar with Polmanbabel, implementation for Polmanbabel’s Tri Dharma that supply machine’s drying for capacity at 4 - 5 kg (rotary rak’s tray system, and aluminum material), research and Community Service by Lecturers and students. The results of activities are understanding, operation and maintenance of production in machine’s provided. the achievement of percentage for drying lakso until 80% and lakso able to survive up to 3 months. Lakso’s dry is able to eat by steaming process.

Abstract:
The use of electric vehicles (EVs) is viewed as an attractive solution to reduce CO2 emissions and fuel consumption resulted from transport sector, but the EVs implementation is limited to driving distance and and the charging process that inconvenience. The analysis of energy consumption characteristics of Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) battery that commonly used as the energy source for EVs become an important foundation to study the durability and performance of the battery when applied in addition to increase the driving range from this EVs. This research aims to test the durability and the performance of the Eneloop type of Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) battery that used for the racing car competed on ENE1-GP Japan at Suzuka Circuit Japan. From this experiment will be achieve the energy consumption estimation systematically, based on this data the parameters can be decided accurately for the EVs that attend the competition. The battery will be test under room temperature and the load given during the test from 0.1A to 10A. The average temperature during the performance test were observed using thermal camera. The best result from this experiment is on 5A, the battery will effectively use and can fit the requirement to complete the race in 18 minutes and 49 seconds for 3 cycles (laps). On the other hand, this data also can become the foundation to develop the electric vehicle which has similar specification.

Abstract:
Minimal surface roughness value is the performance to be achieved in the process of CNC NLX 2500, is necessary to regulate variables NLX 2500 CNC process in order to obtain the proper response surface roughness of the workpiece is minimal.research that has been done is to determine the contribution of these variables NLX CNC process in 2500 to reduce the variation of the response surface roughness of the workpiece simultaneously. Moreover, it also made the determination that the proper setting of the variables NLX2500 CNC process in order to obtain the surface roughness of the workpiece is minimal.machining process variable is varied spindle rotation, motion eat, and in the funeral. The experimental design is determined based on the Taguchi method and form of orthogonal L9 (33). Optimization method is used Taguchi. The randomized trial with replication 2 times to overcome interference factors that occur during the machining process.the results showed that to reduce the variation of the response simultaneously, eat motion has the largest percent of the contribution, which amounted to 99.48%, spindle rotation has a percent contribution of 0.0974%, the feeds have a percent contribution of -0.126%.to obtain a surface roughness of the workpiece is minimal, spindle rotation is set at 2748 rpm, eating motion is set at 0.15 mm / rotation, the funeral was adjusted to 0.5 mm.

Abstract:
The simple principle of wind power plant is use wind as main exciter to rotate the turbine. The turbine convert wind to electric energy. The output signal is alternating (AC) current. This current was changed to direct current (DC) by rectifier circuit. The DC current was used as charge the energy storage, battery. Next step, the DC current from battery convert to AC current using inverter circuit. The result of inverter shows that the error is 20% with 240V no load.

Abstract:
As technology advances and the quality of life improves, there is a deep need that requires of aluminium alloy that bears high strength, high toughness, high surface glossiness, anti-corrosion, and high fatigue resistivity [2]. This study aims to investigate the effects of secondary aging treatment on the mechanical properties and Surface Glossiness of the 7003 aluminium alloy by using several equipment, including: confocal laser microscope, white light interferometer, gloss meter, micro Vickers hardness tester and tensile test machine. This research was conducted by experimental method by giving treatment on the aluminium alloy 7003 with some treatments, there are: aging treatment at 100˚C for 5 hours and then secondary aging treatment at several different temperatures at 150˚C, 175˚C and 200˚C for 9 hours respectively. Based on our experimental results, it obtained: After being aged at 100 ℃ for 5 hours and then secondary aged at 175℃ for 9 hours, the 7003 aluminium alloy obtained excellent mechanical properties, which can achieve the industrial requirements of Yield strength 320 MPa and Elongation 13% for 3C mobile phone products. The 7003 aluminium alloy after being anodizing treated could obtain excellent Surface Glossiness and oxidation layer. The present aluminium alloy can achieve Surface Glossiness better than 1200 GU and the thickness of oxidation layer exceed 10μm, which were suitable for 3C industrial applications.

Abstract:
The design of robot launcher shuttlecock is done by researchers so that the robot produced can help human activity in the field of sports. This throwing robot can be used as a training medium for selftaught players, where practice can be done without a trainer / helpers. Players can practice at any time without being linked with others (trainers / feeders) so that training time can be maximized. The methodology of this tool includes the manufacture and design of hardware and software. The manufacture and design of mechanical hardware involves the construction of aluminum frames, with actuators in the form of motors and pneumatic systems while for the design and manufacture of electronics hardware includes the manufacture of control circuits. Preparation and design of software include programming mikrokontroler ATMega128. From the test results, the robot can throw shuttlecock. Robot can do 6 mode service ie service mode near, far, left, right, random and join with average success percentage equal to 93,35%.

Abstract:
Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is a telecommunications technology that is able to pass the communication service in Internet Protocol networks so as to allow communicating between users in an IP network. However VoIP technology still has weakness in the Quality of Service (QoS). VOPI weaknesses is affected by the selection of the physical servers used. In this research, VoIP is configured on Linux operating system with Asterisk as VoIP application server and integrated on a Raspberry Pi by using wired and wireless network as the transmission medium. Because of depletion of IPv4 capacity that can be used on the network, it needs to be applied to VoIP system using the IPv6 network protocol with supports devices. The test results by using a wired transmission medium that has obtained are the average delay is 117.851 ms, jitter is 5.796 ms, packet loss is 0.38%, throughput is 962.861 kbps, 8.33% of CPU usage and 59.33% of memory usage. The analysis shows that the wired transmission media is better than the wireless transmission media and wireless-wired.

Abstract:
A Helmet is an equipment that should be used by motorcycle riders. The correct function of helmets is to protect motorcycle riders from head injuries during accident and head collision. Most of helmets existing in markets are produced by helmet factories. Those helmets have to meet certain standards, including the use of materials to construct the helmet lid and the testing processes on the helmet itself. The price of used materials is quite high because those materials are still imported from overseas. It causes the increasing of helmet production cost and the helmet prices in the market become quite expensive. This research aims to find how a biocomposite material (consisting of 85% PP, 10% rice husk and 5% MAPP) can be used as an alternative replacement material for helmet lid preparation. The process is conducted by using finite element software. The result of the testing shows that the test penetration model with 4 mm thickness is not penetrated by indenters. Whereas the result of impact simulation testing of 146.84 g is still classified as a safe limit in accordance with the requirements of SNI 1811-2007 of 300 g.

Abstract:
This paper discusses the process of restoring the original condition (recondition) of DoAll LT 13 Bu01 by focusing on electrical system improvements, geometric precision and machine performance. Direct observation methods are applied to solve problems that include cause and effect relationships using 5 (five) why analyzes. The reconditioning stage starts from the initial data collection of damage obtained by visual inspection, function testing and geometric testing on the machine; then proceed with analyzing the damage; and corrective actions based on the results of the analysis. Functional testing methods, geometric deviation tests, machine performance tests are performed to see the achievement of recondition goals. Based on the results of the tests performed, the function of the electrical system returned to normal, the average value of geometric deviation still satisfied based on ISO-1708 standard and machine performance for spindle rotation value with 5% deviation, the value of the roundness and taper work-piece results of 0 and 0.004mm / 255mm, respectively and spindle vibration in the range of 0.33 - 0.66 mm / s RMS for speed 50 - 2500 RPM is still considered normal based on ISO 10816 standards.

Abstract:
PID controller is the most popular feedback controller in industry. It has been known that PID controller is capable to provide a good control performance despite having a simple algorithm and easy to understand. However, the most common problem of using this control system is that it is difficult to stipulate the most appropriate constants to each controller or tuning. This project implemented advanced PID tuning which involves several tuning methods to acquire best performance on system or plant which is volatile or critically stable such as controlling height levitation pingpong ball. The tuning methods used and compared were Ziegler-Nichols (ZN) and Chien-Hrones-Reswick (CHR). Tuning process and monitoring were performed in real time using Simulink-Arduino. Based on experimental result, CHR method gave better performance compared to ZN method. ZN resulted in overshoot, rise time, settling time, and steady state error of 48%, 0.85s, 3.8s, and ±2cm respectively, while CHR method resulted in overshoot, rise time, settling time, and steady state error of 14%, 1.15s, 1.4s, and ±1cm respectively.
