Abstract:
Objective — To investigate the occurrence and risk factors of postoperative delirium in patients with esophageal cancer. Methods — A review of 203 patients undergoing elective surgery for esophageal cancer from April 2019 to December 2020, including 122 males and 81 females. The incidence of postoperative delirium were evaluated through the use of the CAM and divided into delirium group (Group P) and non-delirium group (Group N) according to whether postoperative delirium occurred. Possible confounders and clinically important factors were included in the univariate analysis, and all variables with P-values less than 0.05 in the univariate analysis were included in the multivariate models. Results — A total of 38 cases (18.7%) of postoperative delirium occurred in 203 patients. Group P was significantly older than Group N (P=0.000<0.01). The Patient Health Questionnaire 9 (PHQ-9) scores (P=0.01<0.05) and the FRAIL Scale scores of Group P were significantly higher than those of the N group (P=0.001<0.05). The educational level (P=0.001<0.01) and Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) scores (P=0.004<0.01) of Group P were significantly lower than those of Group N. The use rate of sevoflurane in Group P (P=0.011<0.05), the incidence of intraoperative hypotension (P=0.002<0.05), and the rate of Porphyromonas gingivalis infection (P=0.012<0.05) were higher than those in Group N. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that age (OR=1.295, 95%CI 1.125 ~ 1.490) and Porphyromonas gingivalis infection (OR=2.898, 95%CI 1.055 ~ 7.959) were independent risk factors for postoperative delirium in patients with esophageal cancer. Conclusion — age and Porphyromonas gingivalis infection may be the independent risk factors for postoperative delirium in patients with esophageal cancer.

Abstract:
In the Marxist theoretical system, "family" is a very important theoretical category, which is not only the "mystery" Marx and Engels has been trying to solve, but also an important reflection of Marxist philosophy. Marx and Engels held the conviction that the development of the family went through the consanguinity family, the Punaluian family, the paring family and the monogamous family. Marital relationship is the basis of forming a family; blood relationship is the bond of forming a family; family is the organizational form of human social life. Those are the essential characteristics of family. In the new era, while promoting the harmonious development of family, we must know the harmonious marriage relationship is the foundation of family harmony, and that the harmonious parent-child relationship is the key to family harmony. Meanwhile, we should pay attention to the harmonious unity of family and society.

Abstract:
Liberal arts are vulnerable to the challenge that they are useless in the digital age. “Uselessness is a kind of usefulness” — that is, although liberal arts fail to mold the practical skills, for example, the skills that enable people to earn much money in markets, they are useful in other senses, which is a common and seemingly philosophical answer to the question about the function of liberal arts. Such an answer, however, seems insufficient and In this article, the author intends to demonstrate with examples and statistics that liberal arts play an irreplaceable role in nursing people’s critical thinking, expanding their imagination and understanding of the differences of the world. Moreover, technology is essentially related to the understanding of human society. User-friendly technology is the combination of empathy and the understanding of humanity.

Abstract:
This study investigated three aspects that related to Foreign Language (FL) reading anxiety: the FL reading anxiety levels; the relationship between FL reading anxiety and reading performance; the main sources of FL reading anxiety. With both quantitative and qualitative research method, the total amount of 47 Chinese postgraduates took part in a paper questionnaire including Foreign Language Reading Anxiety Scale (FLRAS) and reading test, Cambridge Advanced English (CAE). According to the FLRAS scores, 12 of them had one-to-one semi-structured interviews. The results shows that most Chinese postgraduates experienced a moderate level of English reading anxiety, and that international students have higher reading anxiety than domestic students. No statistically significant relationship was found between FL reading anxiety and the reading test. After thematic coding analysis, the main sources of English reading anxiety among international students were found to be ‘demanding text feature’ and ‘different class settings in the UK’. For domestic students, limited English exposure was the main source. Recommendations for teachers and for both groups of students are provided, and the limitations of the present study and suggestions for future research are discussed at the end of the paper.

Abstract:
In the past 20 years, it seems very common for many Chinese companies to apply for listing in the United States. Some of them are affected by objective factors and some of them have their own financing needs. However, according to the research, it is found that the actual situation of such Chinese enterprises listed in the United States is uneven, and there are many well-known enterprises that have been exposed to financial fraud or other scandals. Based on the analysis of the reasons and situation of Chinese companies going to the United States for listing, taking the tension which has risen between Washington and Beijing into consideration, the author puts forward the conclusion that China needs to establish a pre-examination mechanism for Chinese companies going to the United States for listing.

Abstract:
Crude oil plays an important role in economic development. This paper chooses China’s crude oil futures and crude oil actuals as the research objects, and builds the DCC-GARCH model to study the hedge ratio under the risk minimization standard. The hedge ratios obtained from the DCC-GARCH model will be compared with those obtained from OLS, B-VAR and VECM models. The empirical results prove that: China’s crude oil futures and actuals have a significant reverse “leverage effect”; China’s crude oil futures have a variance reduction of more than 70% under all models; the DCC-GARCH model achieves the best hedging performance in the four models.

Abstract:
As evaluation factors of enterprise technology innovation capacity are very complicated, evaluation methods commonly used do not consider interrelationships between every capacity element, which results in subjectivity of evaluation results. Because non-parametric methods can be used to deal with evaluation problems with many input and output, this thesis proposes DEA evaluation idea and establish DEA evaluation module. Through practical case study, optimum value analysis of sample enterprise, returns to scale analysis and projection analysis, relatively efficient enterprises are identified and adjustment proposals are put forth for inefficient enterprises. Case study shows that: DEA evaluation method is an efficient method to evaluate enterprise technology innovation capacity.

Abstract:
Global staffing is an essential aspect of human resource management in multinational corporations (MNC) (Collings & Scullion, 2009). As the positioning of multinational organizations gradually becomes global, multinational companies must cultivate suitable global personnel. Flexible and adequate staffing and management skills can give transnational corporations a particular competitive advantage in global operations (Collings & Scullion, 2009). Understanding the background of the local market and gaining and sharing tacit knowledge in jobs around the world are all necessary professional skills for the multinational company (Harvey et al., 1999). However, human resources management departments also face more significant challenges as the multinational company expands its business globally. Learning how to effectively respond to the staffing problems of multinational companies in the course of operation reflects the company's operating capabilities. This article will first define and elaborate the global staffing policy, while the factors that will make the system more effective will be introduced. Secondly, the current problems and challenges faced by multinational companies will be listed, followed by corresponding measures. Finally, other recommendations will be provided in some areas for the human resources of multinational companies.

Abstract:
Objective — To explore the preventive effect of Shenduning prescription combined with hydration therapy on contrast induced nephronpathy (CIN) after elective percutaneous coronary intervention. Methods — 159 patients undergoing selective coronary intervention were divided into simple hydration group, intensive statin group and Shenduning prescription group randomly, with 53 cases in each group. The simple hydration group received conventional drugs for coronary heart disease and preoperative routine hydration therapy. The intensive statin group received intensive treatment with atorvastatin calcium tablets on the basis of the simple hydration group, and the Shenduning prescription group received Shenduning prescription treatment on the basis of the hydration group. Serum creatinine (Scr), malondialdehyde (MDA), superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) were detected by blood samples at 24h before and after operation, as well as 72h after operation respectively. The primary endpoint event was the occurrence of CI-AKI. Results — The Scr level of the intensive statin group and the Shenduning prescription group was significantly lower than that of the simple hydration group, while the eGFR level was significantly higher than that of the simple hydration group, which is of statistical significance (P<0.05). The incidence of CI-AKI was 15.1% in simple hydration group, 5.7% in intensive statin group and 3.8% in Shenduning prescription group respectively after operation (χ2 = 5.194, P=0.075), of which there was significant statistical difference between simple hydration group and Shenduning prescription group (χ2 = 3.975, P=0.046). After 72h of the operation, MDA level in Shenduning prescription group was significantly lower than that in simple hydration group and intensive statin group, while its SOD level was significantly higher than that in simple hydration group and intensive statin group, which is of statistical significance (P<0.05). The proportion of abnormal liver function in intensive statin group and the Shenduning prescription group was 13.1% and 3.8%, respectively, and the difference was statistically significant (χ2 = 4.867, P=0.027). Conclusion — The combination treatment of Shenduning prescription with hydration therapy may protect the patient’s renal function after elective coronary interventional therapy, while reducing the incidence of CIN and the oxidative stress reaction caused by contrast agent, thus effectively reducing adverse reactions.

Abstract:
According to the traditional view, observation is neutral, unrestricted by theory, and theory depends on observation. However, Hanson's theory-laden observation, his Thematic Framework model, points out that observation depends on theory, that theory infiltrates observation, that theory determines the purpose and object of observation, and that observation must be guided by correct theory. Observation, as Hanson sees it, is a process of brain activity: it is not only the reception of information, but also the action of understanding and categorizing that information. Therefore, observation is naturally related to the observer's background, life experience and psychological set. Different observers may draw different conclusions about the same process by nature of the differences in their life experience.

Abstract:
We report a case of complete esophageal obstruction caused by continuous enteral nutrition infusion via nasogastric tube. A 77 year old man received mechanical ventilation due to severe pneumonia and severe respiratory distress. He began using enteral nutrition emulsion (TPF) through a nasogastric tube on admission. 15 days later, due to the difficulty of re-inserting the nasogastric tube, endoscopy found a large number of coagulations in the esophagus, resulting in complete esophageal obstruction. We remove a small part of the foreign body with a net basket under gastroscope. After the operation, the nasogastric tube was placed in the middle of the esophagus again, which was perfused with 5% sodium bicarbonate and vinegar through the gastric tube. One week later, the esophagus was completely unobstructed by gastroscopy. A conclusion can be drawn that the precipitation and coagulation of TPF can lead to the whole esophageal obstruction. Endoscopic removal of foreign bodies, sodium bicarbonate and vinegar retention in the esophagus can treat the food obstruction caused by TPF.

Abstract:
Objective — To conduct comparison of the quantity difference of different segmentation optimization methods in Monaco planning system on the affected lung in radiotherapy after breast cancer breast-conserving therapy. Methods — 10 cases with breast cancer after breast-conserving surgery were selected with the prescription dose of 50GY/25F. In each case, volume modulated arc therapy (VMAT) based double arc distribution mode was adopted, and the same optimization parameters and functions were set accordingly. After completion of flux optimization, automatic weight optimization method and manual weight optimization method were adopted for optimization respectively. When the similar dose distribution of the target volume was obtained and the dose of the organ at risk (OAR) was satisfied, the dose of the affected lung obtained by the two optimization methods was compared. Results — When similar target coverage and other organs at risk met the prescribed conditions, the affected lung received by the manual weight optimization method was significantly lower than that by the automatic weight optimization method, and the results were statistically significant. Conclusion — The manual weight optimization method used in VMAT program after breast conserving surgery can effectively reduce the lung volume on the affected side and the probability of radiation pneumonia can be reduced.

Abstract:
In order to reduce the damage of liquefaction of aeolian sand along the Sichuan-Tibet railway, the dynamic response characteristics of saturated aeolian sand in the study area were discussed by using shaking table test. The results show that the macroscopic characteristics of saturated aeolian sand in the study area are subsidence, water flow and fracture. The displacement time history shows that the surface displacement increases with increasing the input ground motion acceleration. When the acceleration is small (0.1g), the vibration in the soil layer has an obvious tendency to enlarge continuously from bottom to top. With the increase of the acceleration (0.2g), the amplification trend basically disappeared. When the acceleration increases to 0.3g, the ground motion increases first and then decreases.

Abstract:
Objective — To investigate whether serum lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)] is an independent risk factor for abnormal blood pressure in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Method — Analyzed data collected from diabetes patients and epidemiological survey from January 1,2020 to May 01,2021, with hypertension as a dependent variable, metabolic index such as glycosylated hemoglobin, serum total cholesterol, serum triglyceride and Lp(a) were independent variables, established logistic regression equation, analyze the influence of their variables on dependent variables. Results — The OR value of Lp(a) is 1.020, 95% confidence intervals (1.006, 1.035), p 0.006; The OR value of age is 1.073, 95% confidence interval (1.028, 1.119); and OR of the remaining parameters were tested no statistically different, p>0.05. Conclusions — The abnormal elevated Lp(a) level in the serum of type 2 diabetic patients may be related to the occurrence of hypertension. For patients with high Lp(a), Monitoring blood pressure may help to better detect and diagnose hypertension. At the same time, it is suggested that reducing serum Lp(a) level may reduce the risk of hypertension.

Abstract:
Objective — To establish a high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS/MS) method for the rapid determination of tauroursodeoxycholic acid (TUDCA) in bear bile powder. Method — The chromatographic conditions were optimized. A Hypersil GOLD chromatographic column (Thermo Fisher, 100 mm×2.1 mm) was used with the mobile phase of methanol:water (0.1mmol/l ammonium acetate + 0.1% formic acid) = 75:25 for isocratic elution; the column temperature is 30.0℃; the flow rate is 0.2mL/min; the injection volume is 5uL; the negative ion scanning mode and the select reaction monitoring are used. Through the compound optimization function of the instrument, the two characteristic ion pairs of TUDCA are m/z: 498.5/124.0 and m/z: 498.5/79.8 (quantitative ion pair). Results — The detection limit of this method was 5ng/mL, and the linear range was 20~1000ng/mL (r=0.9993). The same sample was measured in parallel with the high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC/UV) method, and the analysis results were basically the same. Conclusion — Compared with HPLC/UV, HPLC-MS/MS is simple, more sensitive and accurate for the determination of TUDCA in bear bile powder. The method can be used in the quality assessment and process control of bear bile powder.

Abstract:
In the ten years from 2011 to 2020, the Chinese government guidance fund has experienced a development stage from steady development to rapid explosion and then gradually returning to rationality. At present, the number and scale of the establishment of government guidance funds have achieved steady development, the development of Northwestern China has accelerated, and the investment hotspot has gradually shifted from the Internet to the core technology field. However, there are still problems such as uneven regional development, insufficient social capital, and low utilization of some funds. It is recommended to start with the establishment of funds according to local conditions and relax geographical restrictions to improve management and promote the healthy and long-term development of government-guided funds.

Abstract:
This paper selects the daily closing price data of the Shanghai Composite Index from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2017, excluding holidays, and preprocesses the data. After taking the logarithm and converting it into the rate of return data, the first-order difference is performed to make it into a stable time series, and then the ARMA(p,q) model is constructed. Through parameter significance test, residual test and characteristic root test, according to the minimum principle of AIC, the optimal model is finally determined to be ARMA(2,5) of sparse coefficient, and the expression of the model is obtained. The GARCH(1,1) model is established for the residual of ARMA(2,5), and the model expression is obtained. In order to directly predict the return rate of the Shanghai Composite Index, the ARIMA(2,1,5) model of the sparse coefficient is constructed for the return rate of the Shanghai Composite Index, and the model expression is obtained. By predicting the Shanghai Composite Index return data on January 2, 2018, it is found that the prediction error of the model is small, and it can be used for subsequent predictions.

Abstract:
This study aims to test the validity of Critical Period Hypothesis (CPH) by investigating the influence of starting age on Chinese English learners’ pronunciation. The study compares the degree of foreign accent of native Chinese English learners with different starting ages in learning English, in an attempt to determine whether early Chinese English learners could outperform late ones in terms of English pronunciation when exposed to an English-speaking setting. Furthermore, this research also proposes to investigate other possible factors that affect Chinese English learners’ pronunciation. Participants were asked to provide spontaneous speech samples through semi-structured interviews conducted face-to-face or via Skype. In addition, an additional read-aloud task was required to ensure a more thorough and in-depth interpretation. The final results run counter to the Critical Period Hypothesis as there appeared to be late starters who also achieved native-like pronunciation, and there was no significant difference between early starters and late ones in terms of pronunciation. However, the study also yielded some results suggesting that greater efforts and stronger motivations were required for late starters in order to achieve the same pronunciation levels as early starters’, indicating that starting age can be a sensitive rather than critical factor for second language (L2) pronunciation acquisition.

Abstract:
As a language attribute that exists for visual arts, ekphrasis is not only a bridge to communicate poetry and painting, but also an important category in the cross-media and cross-disciplinary research of literature and art. Through the process of recreating paintings by using language as a medium, ekphrasis realizes the conversion from visual art to auditory art, and explores the richness of cognitive creation on the basis of the reproduction of visual art. In this process, the literary narrative diagram shows significant differences from the artistic doctrinal diagram, which are mainly reflected in the three levels of academic guiding ideology, narrative style difference, classic deconstruction and reconstruction, and language style writing paradigm. In addition, literary storytelling plays an important role in the writing of art history and the dissemination of artworks. It provides reference and inspiration for the current cross-border and in-depth integration of literature and art from the perspective of practical creation.
