Abstract:
Attendance documentation is a crucial metric for determining a student's dedication, qualification, and status. Several types of systems have been developed for automated attendance. The majority of these implementations were built on a single factor template, representing a line of security error. In recent years, rapid development has taken place in several applications such as authorization, data access, and access control by implementing biometrics and radio frequency identification technologies. This research work focuses on designing a smart protocol for RFID authentication in combination with fingerprint biometric information, which guarantees confidentiality, identity verification, and data protection. Reaction time and event performance evaluation were the tests performed on the system. Ten students with unique fingerprints and RFID cards are assessed for the test. The test results show an average duration of 20.61 respective seconds for each student, and zero percent of false refusal rate was recorded in the implementation. Finally, the result shows the system is reliable and efficient. Each result revealed high-speed performance due to software and hardware coordination. Biometric systems provided data integrity and security, RFID provided limited complexity, and the proposed method's technical programming pattern provided an average run time.

Abstract:
Managing attendance may be a vital record-keeping activity in any institution. There are different methods of maintaining the attendance from manual system where attendance is marked in sheets to automated attendance on the likes of biometrics. The combination of frequency Identification (RFID) with fingerprint biometric technology was to enhance the safety level and integrity of the records. The designed system not only makes the system design simpler but also enhances the productivity of the institution both in terms of man power and time. The system doesn't only simplify the method of taking attendance but reduces error and allows for faster verification of student attendance, all with minimal human interaction. This technique will help the authorities manage the attendance system in a more organized, efficient and time saving manner. The planning of the system is straightforward and portable making it an honest candidate for commercial and academic purpose. A GUI based version and app-based version has been designed to make the system both PC and mobile friendly. The system is built with various levels of access permissions and security. The system was tested for a small group of 100 students and was found to provide accurate marking of attendance for all users.

Abstract:
Modern class rooms are equipped with various smart devices that have supporting software to improve the class rooms. However, it is often seen that the precious time of class room is wasted on taking attendance, or the class may face various interruption due to late entries of students, and this attendance procedure is done repeatedly. Also performance is affected by the presence of the student in the institute. Conventional methods for attendance taking are by calling student name or by sensor based card (RFID sensor) or biometric fingerprint based attendance system, but all of these method are inefficient as they can't tell whether the student has attended full class or not. Thus there is need of attendance management system which is totally motion based that will assist the faculties and institute for marking the presence of the student attendance. Motion based attendance system that assist recording and management of attendance that will be used for various institutions and the colleges.
