Abstract: This research develops learning methods through the development of teaching materials. In addition to this study developes an e-practicum module in one of the subjects in the pharmacy department, namely physics pharmacy. Today, the physics pharmacy practice uses printed module practice in the form of module books. This research intends to make innovation in practical learning. Current educational innovations that are developing in technological innovations, one of which is information technology. The use of information technology is very fast and sophisticated, currently technological computer-based has been developing with software applications that also continue to fulfil the world's needs. The development of this electronic technology can be utilized in educational innovations in practice methods. The printed module practice was developed into a web-based electronic practicum module. The method used in this research is the waterfall model which consists of the main stages of needs analysis, system and software design, system implementation and testing as well as a maintainance. The results of this study are a web-based module-practice named E-mulsi which can be accessed via e-mulsi.com. This application has been tested in one of the pharmacy physics classes and has received positive responses from users not only students but also lecturers because it is easier to use modules and preparation of technology-based reports.

Abstract: Teaching problem solving is one of the most important topics of physics education while students have big troubles with physics problem solving. The aim of this research is to investigate the impact of extended problem-solving strategy instruction on the development of pre-service science teacher’s problem-solving, critical thinking, metacognitive awareness, and logical reasoning skills. Extended Problem-Solving Strategy has been developed for university physics courses by researcher. This strategy has importantance in terms of covering many previous strategies in physics education literature and including many new steps. The model of the research consisted of an experimental design with pre-test and post-test control groups. Pre-services randomly assigned to the experimental (N=30) and control groups (N=30). The results of the research indicate that the post scores of the experimental group students significantly higher than control group students after the implementations in terms of metacognitive awareness, critical thinking, problem solving and logical thinking skills.This research revealed the positive effects of the “Extended Problem-Solving Strategy” implementation in the physics course at the university level on the skills which are listed among the 21st Century skills and each of these skills affects the other skills positively

Abstract: Education needs to emphasize more attention to environmental issues. The school is an active place to provide actual knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behavior towards environmental issues such as global warming dan the greenhouse effect. This study aimed to investigate seventh-grade students' cognition in the context of a climate system. This study was descriptive, involving the collection of qualitative data. These qualitative data were then analyzed for their content inductively to identify concepts and patterns of student responses. This study indicated that students believed that global warming caused by six factors involving the greenhouse effect, depletion of the ozone layer, fossil fuel usage, forest fires, use of chemicals, and industrial air pollution. Also, they convinced six segments of the global warming impacts: ocean, soil, air, plants and animals, humans, and weather and season changes. The student thought about the climate system was substantially linear, where the contribution of human activities caused global warming that finally have an impact on humans themselves.

Abstract: The aim of the research is to find out the difference in science process skill and learning achievement between students who are taught using guided inquiry model integrated with peer instruction and conventional method in VII students in one of the junior high schools in Malang. The method used is quasy-experimental with only post-test group design. The sample was selected using purposive sampling technique, from the 10 population of VII grade students; the researchers selected two classes which were considered to have the same initial skill with total 32 students in each class to be the experimental class and the control class. Instruments used were the observation sheets to measure the science process skill and the test of multiple choices to measure the learning achievement. The researchers gained average score of 81 for science process skill in experimental class and 58 in control class, while the average score of 77.8 for learning achievement in experimental class and 71.3 in control class as the result of the data analysis. The hypothesis test used T-test, that was the independent sample T-test on Microsoft excel by looking up the score of Ttable on the rate of sig 0.05 for the science process skill and it gained Tcount > Ttable (18.846 > 1.669), while the learning process gained Tcount > Ttable (8.465 > 1.669). It was concluded that the guided inquiry model integrated with peer instruction can improve student’s science process skill and learning achievement compared to conventional method

Abstract: The rising of an environmental issue and the lack of the handling of garbage organizing give support to us to do the research by involving garbages as the main material in making simple visual aids of physics. Based on that condition, we try to make new innovations in stimulating the creativity developing of natural science education department students of UNHASY having done the lecturing of basic physics collaborated with environmental science. The purpose of the research is to be able to give insight through education program of 5R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Replace, Respect) to students of natural science department of University of Hasyim Asy’ari and apply that knowledge in changing garbage to be simple visual aids of physics. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive, whose data can be divided into 3 kinds: observation results (detail description of what has happened in the field), interview results ( direct citation from people’s statements in interview session) dan written material. The results of the data are, then analyzed by using observation sheets of creative thinking ability. The main research subjects are 29 students. Abstract: Modul merupakan salah satu bahan ajar yang dapat digunakan untuk membantu mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara dengan dosen pengajar statistika dan mahasiswa prodi teknik informatika, dosen masih menggunakan bahan ajar berupa buku teks. Penyajian materi pada buku teks terkadang masih sulit dipahami mahasiswa. Namun, untuk mendapatkan buku teks yang lebih bagus pun, membutuhkan biaya yang relatif mahal. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya bahan ajar yang memaparkan materi dengan jelas dan mudah dimengerti sehingga memudahkan mahasiswa dalam mempelajari statistika. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dilakukanlah penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul matakuliah statistika yang terintegrasi dengan Excel dan SPSS menggunakan pendekatan kecerdasan linguistik, yang memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif. Prosedur pengembangan produk mengikuti model pengembangan 4-D dari Thiagarajan tetapi pada penelitian ini tahapan yang digunakan adalah pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), dan pengembangan (develop). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai dari validasi ahli adalah 2,4 sehingga modul memenuhi kriteria valid. Hasil observasi keterlaksanaan modul adalah 2,54 sehingga modul memenuhi kriteria praktis. Sedangkan untuk nilai tes akhir, 78% mahasiswa memperoleh nilai 75 ke atas. Selain itu, 61,6% mahasiswa menyatakan setuju dan 34,9% mahasiswa menyatakan sangat setuju terhadap penggunaan modul dalam pembelajaran. Tercapainya ketuntasan belajar dan adanya respon positif tersebut menunjukkan bahwa modul memenuhi kriteria afektif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian secara keseluruhan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif.

Abstract: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). dimana dalam setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 komponen yaitu planning (perencanaan), acting (tindakan), observing (observasi) dan reflecting (refleksi). Rata-rata aktivitas siswa pada pertemuan pertama siklus I sebesar 2,95 dengan kategori Baik sedangkan pada siklus II sebesar 3,46 dengan kategori Baik. Hasil observasi aktivitas siswa pada siklus I dan siklus II di atas menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran menggunakan metode tritawa sebesar 0,51. Rata-rata respon siswa pada pertemuan pertama siklus I sebesar 82,32% dengan kategori Positif sedangkan pada siklus II sebesar 87,52% dengan kategori Positif . Hasil angket respon siswa pada siklus I dan siklus II di atas menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata angket respon siswa dalam pembelajaran menggunakan metode tritawa sebesar 5,20%. Tes hasil belajar siswa pada pertemuan pertama siklus I sebesar 60, dari 25 siswa terdapat 12 siswa dinyatakan tuntas dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 48% sedangkan pada siklus II rata-rata tes hasil belajar sebesar 80,84, dari 25 siswa terdapat 22 siswa dinyatakan tuntas dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 88%. Rata-rata dan persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I dan siklus II di atas menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar sebesar 20,84 dan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 40%.

Abstract: Prestasi belajar matematika siswa masih rendah, salah satu penyebab menurunnya prestasi belajar siswa yaitu metode konvensional yang kontinu sehingga siswa merasa bosan dan cenderung pasif dalam pembelajaran. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, guru menggunakan metode dan model pembelajaran yang bervariatif selama mengajar. Dalam penelitian ini, guru menggunakan model pembelajaran jigsaw. Adapun jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIB sebanyak 24 anak, terdiri atas 12 siswa laki-laki dan 12 siswa perempuan. Prosedur pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian pada siklus 1 yaitu: (1) siswa gaduh pada saat pembagian kelompok; (2) ada siswa yang mendominasi kegiatan mengerjakan tugas dalam kelompok; (3) peneliti kurang bisa mengalokasikan waktu; (4) beberapa siswa yang tidak presentasi kurang memperhatikan presenter dan berbicara dengan temannya; dan (5) beberapa siswa kurang percaya diri saat mengikuti tes. Hasil analisis tes siklus 1 menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang tuntas belajar sebanyak 19 siswa dari 24 siswa, sehingga prosentase siswa yang tuntas belajar sebesar 79,10% dan prosentase siswa yang tidak tuntas belajar sebesar 20,90% dengan nilai rata-rata kelas 73,5. Hasil tes analisis siklus 2 menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang tuntas belajar sebanyak 22 siswa dari 24 siswa, sehingga prosentase siswa yang tuntas belajar sebesar 91,67% dan prosentase siswa yang tidak tuntas belajar sebesar 8,33% dengan nilai rata-rata kelas.

Abstract: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan e-modul berbasis inkuiri untuk matakuliah Pembelajaran Geometri pada Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD). Tahapan pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tahapan pengembangan Plomp meliputi: investigasi awal, prototipe, dan asesmen. Pada tulisan ini, peneliti hanya fokus pada pemaparan hasil dari investigasi awal. Investigasi awal dilakukan pada prodi PGSD di kampus yang berafiliasi PGRI di Jawa Timur. Hasil yang diperoleh pada investigasi awal: (1) materi yang disajikan pada pembelajaran geometri meliputi materi bangun datar dan materi bangun ruang, (2) pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan didominasi oleh dosen, (3) ada bahan ajar yang digunakan sebagai pegangan, namun masih belum menggunakan e-modul, (4) bahan ajar yang digunakan masih belum memberikan porsi yang cukup untuk mahasiswa menemukan konsep.
