Abstract
The aim of this study was to adopt the leaf area index (LAI) product with one kilometer to assess vegetation spatial-temporal variations in Huaihe River basin from 2000 to 2016. The results showed that: 1) The annual mean LAI in Huaihe River basin was 1.16, and the distribution of LAI was characterized by high south and low north. 2) The average annual LAI showed a significant increase in Huaihe River basin from 2000 to 2016 (P value = 0.003), and the annual trends of LAI in Jiangsu Province of the basin was not significant. 3) Summer LAI in each province showed a very significant increase trend in all provinces. The trend of winter LAI in each province was not signif-icant showed a very significant increase trend in all provinces, while LAI in each province had dif-ferent trends in the summer and autumn. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
