Abstract
Section 73 UG regulates the nullification of assessments of examinations and scientific and artistic works. Section 89 UG deals with the revocation of academic degrees. The relationship between the two provisions has not been fully clarified. This paper explains in which cases only one of the two regulations is applicable and under which circumstances both regulations are to be applied, and what significance the issuing of a notice under one of these regulations has for the application of the other regulation.
