DISCURSIVE RESEARCH SPACE OF THE INSTITUTION OF CITY MANAGEMENT IN MODERN SOCIOLOGY

Abstract

The article analyzes the sociological tradition that has formed on the issue of studying the city management institution, and highlights the main approaches to its study. The city management institution in the American tradition, as well as the criticism of the city management institution in the Russian tradition are analyzed. The management potential of the city management institution in Russian conditions is revealed. В статье анализируется сформировавшаяся по вопросу изучения института сити-менеджмента социологическая традиция, выделяются основные подходы к ее изучению. Анализируется институт сити-менеджмента в американской традиции, критика института сити-менеджмента в российской традиции. Выявляется управленческий потенциал института сити-менеджмента в российских условиях.
