Thousands of individuals with problem drinking and drug misuse do not recover due to the lack of specialized programs that meet their needs. The purpose of this study was to examine how individuals who are challenged with co-occurring disorders and impaired cognitive-behavior skills, concurring disorders, achieve and sustain sobriety.
