Abstract
Temporary clipping is very useful in the treatment of cerebral aneurysms since it permits a better approach and manipulation of the sac by reducing blood pressure on the aneurysmal wall. This procedure in not free of risks such as possible damage to the arterial wall and distal ischaemia. We evaluated retrospectively 107 cases treated between 1998 and 2001 in our unit and compared our results with literature reports. Keywords
