Abstract
Fashion processes and the speed of circulation of its products put us before a set of key questions: what is the relationship between fashion and trends? Are the trends before Fashion? The wardrobe and its accessories are the only support of trends or is it manifested in other areas? Could we equate trends to avant-garde phenomena, or do they respond to other temporary visibility laws? What are the methodological problems that we face when we analyze these social phenomena of a so ephemeral nature? Taking a set of examples from different media and genres, the article tries to answer these questions from a theorical perspective of interpretation's social discourses.
