Abstract: Background: To size the demand for care generated by the population aged >75 years in Italy the authors conducted a secondary analysis of data stemming from the third wave of the European Health Interview Survey (EHIS- wave3), carried out in Italy in 2019, based on a harmonized questionnaire at European level.
