Abstract
The widespread absence of mental health education in rural areas is negatively nourished by the external environment such as economic development, scientific and technological progress, family and school education, and threatened by the continuous depletion of internal psychological resources, and the problems of left-behind teenagers and children emerge one after another. Through case analysis, this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the external and internal reasons for the damage to the mental health of Xiao S, the protagonist of the case, in the process of growing up, reveals the psychological dilemma faced by left-behind children at present, and puts forward positive countermeasures. Starting from the macro-linkage of home, school and society, the environmental threats encountered by left-behind young children are regulated and controlled, and efforts are made to create a cradle suitable for their healthy growth; we should actively empower and develop psychological resources from the micro-level of individual cognition, emotion, will, behavior, interpersonal relationship and personality, so as to provide direction suggestions for the development of rural mental health education and explore the path for its smooth implementation.
