Abstract
A new chromone derivative as well as four known polyketides were isolated from cultures of the endophytic fungus Xylaria sp. ECN212. The structure of the new compound was determined by extensive spectroscopic analyses. Furthermore, the absolute configuration of the new compound was established by comparison of experimental and calculated electronic circular dichroism data. The new compound is a related compound of xylariacetal, isolated from Xylaria sp. ECN008 in our previous study. Keywords
