The article presents an attempt to define a subjective-action approach as a form of social and psychological thinking, which is a condition for its correct application in the study of social and psychological phenomena. Thus, from the general psychological idea of a person as a subject and of its subjectivity, transition to a social and psychological position on subjective-subjective interaction is maken, and from the general psychological idea about act – to the social and psychological statements of the act, interaction and joint action. The creative synthesis of these statements determines the specifics of the subjective-action approach as a scientific form of social and psychological thinking in accordance with the classification-genetic model of such forms developed by M. M. Slyusarevskyy. It emphasizes the importance of forming and developing in a person as in a social creature motivation and ability to effectively apply the subjective-action approach in practice of its joint with other (mass, group, collective) non-professional (non-academic, non-productive), everyday life.
