Abstract
Imaging techniques currently play a key role in cardiovascular assessing. Cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is one the main elements of diagnosis and prognostic significance of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCMP). The article provides a brief overview on both conventional and novel areas of MRI use in HCMP patients. Particular attention is paid to the MRI role in the patient selection for the surgical treatment. Keywords
