Abstract
As the sixth generation of Chinese directors, Jia Zhangke’s films are mainly realistic, combining the changes of The Times and the fate of the characters. Jia Zhangke is also good at using color to express his films. In “Ash Is Purest White”, Jia zhangke integrates color elements on the basis of paragraph narration, and gives full play to the role of each color, bringing a different color experience to the audience.
