Abstract
This study aimed to describe the flow of communication in the organization of Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) Bone district, which includes (1) the communication vertically downward (Downward Communication) (2) vertically upward communication (Upward Communication), and (3) horizontal communication. This research is a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects were leaders Studio Broadcast Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI SP) Bone district, the news, and the broadcasting section of engineering parts. The technique of collecting data using interviews, observation, and documentation. Technique authenticity of data using tests of credibility, transferability test, dependability test, and test confirmability. Data were analyzed using an interactive model of Miles and Huberman to the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion.The results showed that 1) the communication vertically downward (downward communication) performed in Studio Broadcast Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI SP) Bone district, this communication between leaders and subordinates formally, or informally communicated and the associated jobs. As formally this is to conduct a meeting with the members face to face gives suggestions - suggestions or inputs. 2) Communication organization vertically upward (upward communication) will be undertaken in Studio Broadcast Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI SP) Bone district, it can be seen that the leaders hear or know of inputs or suggestions from subordinates, Therefore communication from subordinates may indicate that leaders recognize employees and listening and interacting with employees so as to form the basis for effective communication, It can foster closeness between the two parties that are open and sharing information so that it will appear intensity and integrity in relationships, This is reflected for their openness in the reception and delivery of messages is done openly. 3) Communication horizontally Studio Broadcast Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI SP) Bone regency implement the types of formal and informal communication, regard being communicated about one's job, sharing, mutual support. Formal communication takes place an official exchange of information took place. In addition to formal communication also takes place informally, were developing social relations among employees. Messages flowing on informal communication began ranging from jobs to the rural-circulated within an organization.
