Innovative approach for power and voltage improvement of flexible solar panel

Abstract
This investigation based on dynamic behavior of solar cell, which is mounted on blades of windmill like structure along horizontal axis. This experimental work encourages, the feasibility of flexible solar panel under dynamic condition. Study of various performance parameters of solar panel are taken into consideration under static and dynamic condition of prototype. Parameters which decide the performance of this system are voltage, current, peak power, efficiency and angular speeds at which solar panel are rotated. This approach serve two purpose, first it uses the surface area of huge windmill structure and another one is inherent cooling of solar panel that ultimately improves the output power. The flexible thin film cells are light, sturdy and with the advent of technology are available in form of PV rolls, which can be placed almost anywhere. This generation of electrical power of solar cell can be utilized to provide initial power to the induction generator. This study can be utilized to develop an independent generation system, wherever there is no grid connectivity.
