Das rigide strukturierte Vollzeitstudium als Leitbild – studienrechtliche Impulse aus dem schweizerischen ETH-System

Abstract

The studies at the Eidgenössischen Technical Institutions of Higher Education in Zurich and Lausanne demonstrate clear structures, which allow only little to no scope of deviation. The regulations of the governance body of the Austrian UG in contrast offer a number of freedom, which´ utilization seldom has to be justified. The analysis of the statutes of studies of the ETH account for several indicators for a development of the UG. They concern the development of the StEOP and examinations as such, and portray an improvement of the Austrian mission statement of the statutes of studies as recommendable.
