Abstract
The growth of the external trade between countries makes it necessary to modernize the transport system and realize intermodal technologies that provide effective cargo delivery. Analysis of using piggyback transportation abroad and in Russia is done in this article. Parameters system of rolling-stock in piggyback transportation is proposed. Using the proposed system will enable the compatibility assessment of vehicles that are used in shipment organization.
