Test Rig Design and Preliminarily Assessment for a Transradial Socket

Abstract
The transradial level is the most common level of upper-limb amputation seen by the prosthetist. The socket is an intermediate part to wear and fit the prosthetic device with the residual limb firmly. It is the crucial part of the prosthesis influencing the amputee's acceptance considerably. The study introduces a test rig that can assess the socket while simulating arm movements.
