Changing Hand Color after Carpal Tunnel Injection

Abstract

A 43-year-old woman with carpal tunnel syndrome received a glucocorticoid injection into the left carpal tunnel. Within 5 minutes, the skin overlying the thumb, adjacent palm, and index, middle, and ring fingers became red.
