Abstract
This article is devoted to analysis of existing competencies that are relevant for educational system. Global competition and rapid development of technologies create the need for Higher Education Institutions (HIE) to teach future graduates competencies required by employers. Authors propose competence-based model of education for Astana IT University. This model will be developed as a student digital profile with access by potential employers. Such model would be beneficial for all stakeholders and need further development.Keywords
