Abstract
The study focuses on the figure of a famous Visigothic Princess and analyzes why the Brunhilda image of the 6th cuentury’s authors reflects a much more favorable portrait of the queen than the works of subsequent authors. The author is looking for the answer to what might have led to such a great change in the Queen's judgment, did her own actions provide a basis for changing the authors ’judgment, or did other motives contribute to painting the picture darker? Keywords
