Abstract
В статье представлен обзор современных исследований об участии людей в занятиях спортом. Задача выявления мотивов, побуждающих заниматься спортом, представляет для экономистов значительный интерес в связи с растущим значением отрасли спорта в экономике. Основная цель работы — обсудить подходы к изучению спортивной активности индивидов в зависимости от доминирующих мотивов. Предпринята попытка объединить существующие подходы к анализу занятий людей спортом на индивидуальном уровне. Рассматриваются основные мотивы к занятиям спортом: профессиональная деятельность, досуг и оздоровительные цели. Обсуждаются их взаимосвязь и проблемы эмпирической оценки принятия индивидами решений о занятиях спортом с точки зрения экономики.Keywords
