Introduction: Pulpotomy is a treatment procedure that can be performed on healthy root pulp tissue with healing potential after surgical amputation of the infected or affected coronal pulp. Objective: To gather more recent information on the materials that can be used to perform pulpotomy treatments, such as formocresol, biodentine, mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) and Aloe vera.
