INFLUENCIA DEL CONTROL DE ACELERACIÓN EN EL FUNCIONAMIENTO AISLADO DE MICROTURBINAS

Abstract
It is possible to obtain high efficiencies in the combined generation of electrical and thermal energy using micro-turbines. To study their operation within electrical networks, connected or isolated from the distribution network, it is necessary to use models that faithfully simulate their operation. This work studies the stand-alone operation of the micro-turbine and makes modifications to the model developed by "Lasseter". Thus, a new model is proposed that integrates the acceleration control, improving the accuracy in transient operation. Finally, validation of the proposed modifications is carried out by comparison with actual performance data of a Capstone C30 micro turbine. The simulations performed in this study show that including the acceleration control leads to major disturbances in the DC voltage, which has to be taken into account when designing the chopper of the converter.
