Percepción y prácticas evaluativas de los docentes universitarios

Abstract
One of the objectives of university education is to train youth in the professional skills that ensure their success in their working life; currently, to assess the learning of these competencies, qualification continues, using written exams. In this research work two objectives were raised; The first was to analyze the perception that teachers have about their evaluative practice carried out at the university; and as a second objective, to verify if the evaluative tasks applied in their teaching work are oriented to learning. In this research, the quantitative and qualitative approach was applied, that is, a mixed methodology to achieve the objectives. The first objective was achieved using the quantitative approach through the ActEval questionnaire and the qualitative approach through the documentary analysis. The findings regarding the perception of teachers indicate that they value the importance of evaluation and have the skills to put it into practice, however, they admit not putting it into practice frequently. In conclusion, our results show that the evaluation practices used by university teachers are not learning-oriented, and the design of improvement programs for the use of learning-oriented evaluation practices is recommended.
