Resumo: A relação do homem com a natureza sofreu nos últimos anos radicais modificações, principalmente quando se trata da interferência do homem sobre a natureza através da tecnologia. A revolução biotecnológica se por um lado possibilitou ao homem intervir na natureza como uma promessa de um futuro melhor para a humanidade, por outro constitui-se em uma ameaça a própria sobrevivência do homem. Este estudo busca refletir sobre as relações da ética com o direito, e, especificamente, entre bioética e o biodireito, pois até então, nunca o homem teve a sua disposição a evolução e a modificação da sua espécie ou das demais formas de vida. Com o uso da técnica, surgiu para o homem esta possibilidade. Antes disso, a evolução humana e de toda a natureza era realizada por uma mutação produzida naturalmente, onde a ordem do todo era assegurada pela seleção natural. If on one hand, the biotechnology revolution made it possible for man to intervene in nature, as a promise of a better future for humanity, on the other constitutes a threat to human survival itself. This study aims to discuss about the relations between ethics and law, specifically between bioethics and biolaw, because until then, man never had at his disposal the evolution and modification of its kind or other forms of life. With the use of technique, this possibility arose for man. Before that, human and all-nature evolution resulted from a natural mutation, in which general order was assured by natural selection.
