Sociologie et didactique : histoire, enjeux et complémentarités d’un rapprochement

Abstract

Depuis le célèbre dialogue entre Lahire et Joshua en 1999, les travaux s’inscrivant dans une double perspective didactique et sociologique se sont multipliés. Cette note de synthèse propose de retracer dans un premier temps l’histoire qui a conduit à ce rapprochement pour ensuite présenter un panorama de recherches récentes qui ont combiné sociologie et didactique. Si des avancées ont été réalisées, le chemin à parcourir est encore long en vue de la construction d’une sociodidactique entendue comme champ disciplinaire autonome. Since the famous dialogue between Lahire and Joshua in 1999, there has been a proliferation of work involving didactic and sociological approaches. This synthesis note traces the history that led to this rapprochement and then presents a panorama of studies that follow this approach. While progress has been made, there is still a long way to go in order to build a sociodidactics understood as an autonomous disciplinary field.
