Abstract
Background: Air pollution is one of the main reasons for disease and emergency hospitalizations. Therefore, air pollution control and hospital preparedness are of paramount importance. This study was conducted to determine the association of air pollutant levels with the rate of hospital emergency admissions due to respiratory and cardiovascular diseases and acute myocardial infarction in Tehran during the last decade.Keywords
