Although group process commentary is considered to be beneficial for the group and its members, there is little guidance for group leaders to know when and how to use process commentary for closed, time-limited groups. Presented are a discussion on the group-as-a-whole commentary, suggestions and guidance for group leaders both novice and experienced, and cues that may provide opportunities for group-as-a-whole process commentary.
