Abstract
The purpose of the article is to cover and theoretically substantiate the content of formation of vocal competence of future music teachers in the class "Voice staging". Methods & methodology. Vocal competence as a structural component of professional training, involves the acquisition of methodological, pedagogical and vocal-performing training of students. The content, forms and methods of formation of vocal competence of the future teacher of musical art in a class "Voice staging" are caused by feature of specificity of professional preparation. The formation of vocal competence is especially influenced by the creative approach of the applicant to the educational process, which is implemented in the following areas: conscious work on the shortcomings of sound production and high singing form; independent listening to vocal works performed by world-famous domestic and foreign opera and chamber singers; attending city art events (opera house, operetta theater, philharmonic hall, concert events with the participation of leading masters of vocal art). In the process of formation of vocal competence, in voice lessons it is pedagogically expedient to use the following methods: mastering musical-theoretical knowledge, independent work, exercises (breathing, diction, articulation, singing), creative (performance, dramatization, illustration). Scientific novelty. The specifics of creative professional activity are revealed, which reflects the quality of the performing culture of a music teacher. It is proved that professional training combines methodical, scientific, vocal-performing and pedagogical-organizational activity. It is established that the process of formation of vocal competence is quite long and requires a certain sequence. It was found that it is pedagogically expedient to use special exercises, creative tasks, focus on methods of working with different types of voices, based on physiological and age characteristics of students, know the principles of organizing concert performances and more. The influence on the formation of vocal competence of the unique heritage of Ukrainian singing traditions, the use of the best vocal methods of domestic and foreign teachers is estimated. Conclusions. The article proves that vocal competence reflects the quality of professional training, gives the opportunity to comprehensively use the acquired knowledge, skills and abilities in further pedagogical activities: educational, scientific, cultural, artistic, methodological. To improve the process of vocal training in the classroom of voice production, students can consciously get acquainted with unsurpassed masterpieces of singing, examples of vocal culture, the best traditions of world and domestic vocal schools, combining musical and artistic-aesthetic activities.
