Abstract
This paper proposes an eight-switch converter based integrated power conditioner is substitute to conventional nine-switch converter based power conditioner for improving power quality. The nine switch converter has many applications investigated, but as a tradeoff, some limitations in the total attainable amplitude at its output. But it has worked favorably by suitably designed control schemes. The proposed power conditioner is uses less number of switches as compare to traditional power conditioner. This conditioner performs on voltage sag and current harmonic compensation. A MATLAB simulation is used to verify the performance of the proposed power conditioner. Keywords
