Investigation and Countermeasures of College Students’ Group Loneliness in the Era of Social Media

Abstract

The advent of the Internet has provided people with many conveniences, one of which is to socialize through the Internet. However, according to Sherry Turkle, in the online world, we often feel lonely, but we are afraid of being bound by intimate relationships. Through a snowball questionnaire sur-vey, this paper takes Chuzhou University students as an example to explore the group loneliness of college students in the era of social media.
