LOCAL SELF-GOVERNMENT AND ACCESS TO HEALTH SERVICES

Abstract
The population, mostly those who are not employed, often turn to local self-government and governance, as with personal problems such as: one-off assistance, social assistance, property registration, plot registration, as well as environmental problems, e.g. caused by hull damage, caused by water supply. Also, with health problems (additional studies, operative intervention, post-operative studies, medications). As a result of the research, we concluded that it is necessary to increase the number of service places as well as increase funding. Based on the observation, we can say that the population is insufficiently aware of insurance, it is necessary to familiarize them with both services and financing programs, also getting to know their insurance program and their services in detail, which will be used later for the benefit of their health.
