Oral Status of Diabetic Children in Casablanca (Case- Control Study)

Abstract

Type 1 diabetes or insulin-dependent diabetes is a common childhood chronic endocrinopathy resulting from a relative or absolute insulin deficiency, which leads to hyperglycemia and metabolism disorders of carbohydrates, proteins and fats. In the absence of a strict follow-up, it conducts to severe clinical features that may have negative impact on life quality of the child and his family.
