Abstract

For the third time in the short history of the sector, the law governing private universities is being re-codified in Federal Law I 2020/77. This article discusses the main differences between the Private Higher Education Act and the previous Private Universities Act and in particular examines the legal consequences of the division of the smallest of all domestic higher education sectors into private universities and private institutions of higher education.
