Abstract
The global burden of cancer is increasingly borne by patients in the developing world. The International Agency for Research on Cancer predicts that by 2030, the global burden of cancer will reach 21.4 million and the annual number of cancer deaths worldwide will reach 13.2 million.1 The World Health Organization (WHO) predicts that by 2020, approximately 60% of all new cancer cases will occur in the least developed nations.2Keywords
