Abstract
The implementation of education for the formation of the National Police Officer at the State Police School of the West Sumatra Police during the Covid-19 Pandemic is to implement a digitalization system for education for SPN students. During the Covid-19 pandemic situation education must still be carried out, the Police leadership has decided that the SPN Polda W Sumatra FY 2020/2021 will be carried out in 3 methods, namely face-to-face or On Campus at the SPN Polda W Sumatra for 2 months, online for 3 months, and face-to-face for 2 months, taking into account the success of the previous SPN On Campus education in managing to a minimum the transmission and spread of covid-19 during education. In an effort to maintain the discipline of the Health protocol, all leaders and caregivers at the SPN Polda West Sumatra are required to apply the Health protocol during the formation and education process of prospective police officers. Online Learning uses the SIGAP Application (Students, Education Personnel and Caregivers). Obstacles in Education for the Establishment of National Police Officers at the State Police School of the West Sumatra Regional Police during the Covid-19 Pandemic are online learning, internet access disruption, limitations in the use of technology, the process of delivering material as well as delivering understanding to students which is not optimal, which results in ineffective learning. The material for physical development is less than optimal because during 3 months of online learning students carry out physical coaching independently in their respective homes.
