La formation des collections de la Société Linnéenne de Lyon

Abstract
The collections of the Société Linnéenne de Lyon and their history When the Société Linnéenne de Lyon was established in 1822, every member was obliged to give herbarium sheets and specimens of natural history, and some years later, the company could be proud of its "little museum". From 1840, however, this policy was given up, and the Society restricted oneself to preserve collections received by gift or bequeath, mainly during the XXth century. The history of these collections (botanical, entomological and mineralogical) is reported and their scientific significance is discussed.
