KEBIJAKAN SEKTOR PENDIDIKAN DI DAERAH ISTIMEWA YOGYAKARTA DALAM PENCEGAHAN PERSEBARAN COVID-19

Abstract
Covid-19 outbreak impact on the education sector in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The purpose of this study is to (1) analyze education policies implementation COVID-19 outbreak in the Special Region of Yogyakarta and (2) analyze obstacles education policies implementation COVID-19 outbreak in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The type of research used was qualitative research, with a content analysis method. The sources in this study are publications from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Yogyakarta Regional Government Public Documents, Scientific Publications, mass media related to the implementation and barriers to education sector policies during the COVID-19 pandemic in the Special Region of Yogyakarta during March 2020 until May 2021. The results show that (1) The education policies Covid-19 outbreak in the Special Region of Yogyakarta reach have an implementation, it shows that communication, implementer, resources, bureaucratic aspects are running well. (2) Obstacles to education policies implementation COVID-19 outbreak in the Special Region of Yogyakarta are the lack of support for learning facilities, limited technology understanding, weak internet signals, and limited knowledge in online learning.
